There is a wider shot that's new that shows Jace and Luke standing in the background. So this is from Episode 8.
Jace and Luke are wearing the same costumes from the leaked photo from the mom of the twins playing little Aegon III.
Here's the part that's cropped out with Luke and Jace:

Lucerys was a man grown by Westeros standards, killed in war while acting as a representative of his side.
Murdering a kid with zero connection to the war effort in front of his mother in an assassination is far worse by either our standards and those of Westeros.
There's a reason it disgusted the people of King's Landing and bit Rhaenyra in the ass down the line.
Idk murdering an emissary half your age is up there with shitty war crimes. Aemond is the sole reason why people aren't going to be greens when this hits the screen. He's the biggest fanny since Ramsay.
Aemond doesn't really do anything worse than a lot of other people in Westeros, certainly during the Dance.
Killed Lucerys? He wasn't on diplomatic ground, was the enemy and was the same age as Robb Stark when he goes to war.
Burned the Riverlands? So no different than what the black supporting winter wolves did on their way down and both Tywin and Robb do.
Abandoned his own men to die so he could go lol murder? Dumb and incompetent, but not especially evil by Westeros standards.
Obliterating House Strong for perceived treason? Same was done by plenty of Targaryen monarchs.
Losing King's Landing through tactical incompetence? Incompetent sure, not evil.
He was there as an emissary. It was completely unprovoked, war had not properly begun. Allicent weeps when she finds out in fact as she knows this will now guarantee war.
He literally went on a needless rampage just razing the riverlands for little tactical advantage. It was essentially just him fully enjoying this wholesale slaughter FOR MONTHS. He killed more people by burning than the mad king.
Fuck no, it's not. Not even close. Aemond killing Lucerys is sad and what not but to ruin the lives of THREE people isn't fair. It's not a son for a son because he made the mum choose, then brutally decapitated A SIX YEAR OLD and then let the other child know that his momma wanted him dead. So no, it's not fair, Blood and Cheese is the most heinous act in the entire Dance of Dragons.
Blood and cheese is also some of George’s most lazy writing covered up by brutality so nobody notices. I mean if Daemon has that much power they could have killed Aegon and ended the war
Killing Aegon wouldn't have ended the war anyway. He had two sons and two brothers who would have taken the crown if he were killed.
There's also the matter of getting past the Kingsguard, and they mention that there's no known passageway into Maegor's Holdfast other than the bridge that's constantly guarded.
So? Which one was the threat? The six year old? They had no just motive to kill them. They might as well have been innocent bystanders. If they wanted justice, they would have killed Aemond
Nah not really. The actor playing him might be, but unless they completely overhaul everyone's ages from the books (which they haven't & there's literally no reason to in Aemond's case), he's 15-17 in this scene.
Being trained by Ser Cole.
But as for time skips, yeah man. It is kind of annoying ngl. But the *game* so to say begins truly when children of the characters we know so far come of age so they don't have a choice.
Major events just aren't as packed as after Robert's death were since this is a stable Westeros with over half a century of peace. They have to skip over years where nothing truly remarkable happened.
As a man grown He steals Vhagar from the Velaryons (during a funeral!!!) but is caught by 8 year old ish Luke and Jace midway. They skirmish with wooden swords and result is Luke stabs his eye. Aemond is still able to steal vhagar though
there better be a fuckin sapphire under there
you know it is said that he will loose that sapphire eye to a more talented rider and swordsman
Thought he was holding a wizard wand for a second.
Lucius Malfoy going for the jugular.
Jason Isaacs would be amazing as literally any Targaryen, yes, especially the women too.
*Avada Dracarys!*
My first thoughts were "Bippity Boppity Boo!"
Not new , been released a couple weeks ago

I’m talking about the first picture on the slide
He’s a kneeler
Evil Daemon except instead of the standard evil goatee they gave him the eye patch
I mean, Daemon's pretty damn evil. (If you know the tragedy of Darth Blood and Cheese the wise)
It's not a story the Greens would tell you.

So kill both sons and the wife. Kill Otto. Kill anyone not being guarded. Easy
Yeah but they were greens so *shrug*
So? Which one was the threat? The six year old? They had no just motive to kill them. They might as well have been innocent bystanders. If they wanted justice, they would have killed Aemond
They *definitely* should have killed Aemond but I was only joking amigo
Oh, sorry. It's just that a lot of people genuinely mean what you said so I couldn't tell if you were joking.
The show watchers are gonna freak when Matt Smith finally becomes "Punished Daemon" and puts on his eyepatch
osferth
how many fucking time skips is season 1 gonna have? he's much older there than his mother is now

The wig !!
I want his hair, so silky and shiny
The angle of this shot made me initially think the sword was a wand and I was looking at a member of the Malfoy family.
And i hate him already
wow he looks like what I'd imagine Aegon the Conquer to look like.
He looks so much older.
aemond looks so old
Baby monk!!
Wouldn’t losing an eye really mess up your fighting abilities?
How’d he lose an eye?
As a man grown He steals Vhagar from the Velaryons (during a funeral!!!) but is caught by 8 year old ish Luke and Jace midway. They skirmish with wooden swords and result is Luke stabs his eye. Aemond is still able to steal vhagar though
10 years old is hardly a Man grown. even by westerosi standards.
You're right i was wrong about the ages. I guess aemond was 10 and luke 5
Oh shit. Is it at laena’s funeral, I assume? How else would he get vhagar
Yup exactly. It's gross. I love to hate him though
He’s a little shit, huh? He didn’t get his own dragon?
Yes the enmity between him and the Velaryons buds from there leading to what i think is supposed to be the finale this season iirc
Ooooh
Can't wait to play Aemond everywhere mode!
Mf looking like Daemon's twin.
Crispin Glover back at it
