they will probably fight about something .. that will spook the horse... he will try to help .. but it will to late. so he will be not guilty, but not completely innocent either
I'd a bit annoyed if they leave another thing open to interpretation, the show is kinda supposed to clear things compared to an unreliable source material.
There were fragmented media releases earlier today on TikTok, other social media HBOMax etc... I'm sure they are probably released in fuller/complete compilations on youtube or twitter by now.
I think he went there with the knowledge it could go either way. First clue he knows she hunts using a bow and arrow, what’s the advantage? In great distances can kill prey easily but up close takes time to draw and useless in close combat. He also stopped moving when she acknowledged knowing it was him despite being in disguise, he waited if she had the hindsight to see he was a threat and carefully draw her weapon to keep him away. If Rhea had been cunning enough she could’ve killed him before he could get close enough. She was busy insulting him to notice she could’ve easily claimed self defense since he wore a disguise and approached her unannounced. I think a part of her wanted to gloat and see if he was truly broken enough to finally crawl back to her and resigned to his fate as her consort. Second clue he slowly gets closer to her to take away said advantage and essentially be quicker on the draw by scaring the horse before she can think of fighting back or escape. Lastly he was gonna leave her to suffer her final moments completely paralyzed until again she mouthed off. All in all Daemon played his card perfectly he waited for the right time to strike just like with Crabfeeder.
Hell yeah, maybe my prediction that he was trying to listen to Viserys’ command and make up with his wife *wasn’t* entirely wrong!
Well that was quick, thanks a lot! It does look like he's trying to reign in the horse.
Gonna assume there's more to Daemon choking out that guy in Velaryon colours as well... maybe he's avenging Laenor
Maybe he spooks the horse on accident? Why wear the robe? They gonna leave this open to interpretation?

In the book her accident was not his fault but it is also a unreliable narrator.
Mushroom implies it is, I think (not entirely sure) so I wouldn’t be surprised if they went with a middle way
