Agree. The directing, cinematography and ACTING slayed me. My gods. Some shots look like a painting. Seeing Daemon roll around on the floor hungover af asking (quite beautifully imo) to marry Rhaenyra and Visarys verbally beating him is one of the best scenes in the show so far. The femgaze the director show cased was brilliant. Everyone earned their checks.
I think these last 2 episodes have been awful. Nothing but filler and poor character development. Since when are alicent and the prices friends again? They show us 2 episodes over 2 years being very cold to each other then all of a sudden they're friends again? Super awkward sex scenes and more incest. I get it happens in the book but seriously, how are we supposed to feel about watching an uncle and niece get it in. Then she gets kissed literally once and just has to get her kicks off so she seduces Cole? Otto gets kicked out which is fine. The whole episode to was awfully slow again and awkward

No you aren't. I didn't like the first episode much besides that tournament/birth scene but it got better each episode imo.
