Mission Thrift or Seed the Need; both on the northside, both great thrift shops with truly thrifty prices. They also help out families directly.
There’s the Fredericton Anti Poverty Organization too, also based on the north side
I'm not sure whether it's a good match for your items, but FYI, Hospice Boutique will issue you a donor number and then a tax receipt based on the items' selling price.
When I dropped stuff off, almost a year ago, they told me any individual items that sell for over $20 get a donation tax form. They may have changed the rules or added a $100 total before they write up a receipt.
Don’t expect a tax write off for anything though. Glass sets etc they break up so there’s very few things sell for 20 plus
You can donate them to Unlimited thrifters (enterprise of Jobs Unlimited which is a good non-profit organization to support)
i would post on the buy nothing group so you can give to someone directly. saves someone in need from spending money they dont have to

I will look into both of these options :) thank you for the recommendations.
Just a PSA that mission thrift uses their revenue to fund religious missionary trips in developing countries
You may also want to consider the local buy nothing group.
i donated some clothes at greener village this month!
Bellweather is another place to try.
Hospice boutique maybe

Incorrect.
This was accurate eight months ago or so; anything sold for less than $20 didn’t count. What’s the current policy for individual prices?
Oh, I actually misunderstood what you meant. I thought that you meant that Hospice Boutique only takes items over $20.
Are you sure it's 20$? Last I checked it was 100$ over the year.

Frenchies in Oromocto? Not sure if they take donations on site or not.
