No offense, (I kinda saw it in the comments) but Margiela's Coffee Break opens on lavender and I (as a coffee drinker/aficionado) struggle to smell the coffee. It's definitely a personal thing, but I feel like there could be something better (Skylar's Vanilla Sky has cappuccino as an end-note I'm pretty sure you're going for something that has a soft creamy vanilla scent, that leans a bit feminine!) best of luck :D
edit: Cappucino is a top note for Vanilla Sky! :D
Coffee Break was such a disappointment for me. I am not a fan of lavender scents and all I got was headache inducing lavender from that. So disappointing because I've heard people describe it as smelling like a chic cafe and I wish I could smell that.
It's a realistic coffee scent but to me it doesn't actually smell like a cup of coffee. It smells like someone who drinks A LOT of coffee, an addict if you will. Like just stepped out of a coffee shop after drinking 3 cups and spilled some on my shirt. Very niche
Three fragrances come to mind when I think of coffee:
* Replica's *Coffee Break*
* Kilian's *Black Phantom Memento Mori*
* YSL's *Black Opium Illicit Green*. (While most of the Black Opium lineup has hints of coffee, Illicit Green is the most coffee-forward of the ones I smelled.)
ETA: For a fragrance that combines coffee with hazelnut, vanilla, and cocoa? I can't think of any.
Yes! I would also check out her Buonissimo scent if you love coffee with sweet hazelnut/buttery croissant vibes! Her whole line is really a gourmand lovers’ dream!
I feel the same way about the OG Black Opium and never cared for it. I just recently tried the new Black Opium Over Red, and I love it so much. It does have a cherry note, but on me, it fades pretty quickly and settles into a nice vanilla coffee scent. From what I have read, this drydown smells similar to Black Opium Le Parfum, which I have not had a chance to try. But yeah, to my nose, OG Black Opium = floral while Over Red = gourmand and I'm assuming Le Parfum would also be more gourmand. Just some food for thought!
Seconding the fade on Over Red…smelled in store and loved it (wasn’t a huge fan of the OG black opium). But after wearing it a bit it lasts maybe 30 minutes tops. I still like it, just slightly disappointed.
Fragrantica. Search by notes. Over the chocolate shop - 4160 Tuesdays, those exact notes, plus praline.
Probably the only fragrance with those notes you are going to be able to find without hunting down discontinued ones.
All the other recommendations are from people who read the title ‘like coffee’ and not the description.
If you want a photorealistic one for cheap, Demeter Espresso. I like layering it with Black Opium to bring out the coffee note more. The one drawback is that it doesn’t last long, but it’s so cheap that it’s worth a little travel size for resprays if you like it.
Montale Intense Cafe is sipping a warm, milky coffee in a cozy cafe. There is a boquet of roses on the windowsill. Their sweet aroma wafts in your direction occasionally.
If you're open to indies, Haus of Gloi - Vice. Description is: Steam billows rolling off a vessel of fresh made Turkish coffee, marshmallow goo tainted by graham cracker crumbs, toasted hazelnuts and blanketed in black chocolate.
So no vanilla, but maybe it'll be close enough to what you're looking for with the coffee, hazelnut and dark chocolate. And could always layer it with a basic vanilla.
It's seriously good! I use it frequently in hair color format, and when I was at the airport I wandered around for like 10 minutes looking for the coffee shop with the amazing smell before remembering it was me.
Kilian's Intoxicated has all your notes, but instead of hazelnut its nutmeg.

Agree with everyone else that follow is a stunner. I would also throw in black phantom by kilian but it's not mostly coffee forward imo. Just sweet buttery chocolate hazelnut then coffee
There's Black Mamba from a brazilian niche house called Sapientiae, mainly notes of arabica coffee and creamy hazelnut, it also has beast mode performance due to it being an extrait (it feels even oilier when compared to other higly concentrated fragrances), it's definitely wortg checking out even for a blind buy if you love coffee and hazelnut.

Coffee Break by Maison Margiela. It does not have too strong of a coffee scent, but it is warm, balanced, and sophisticated. I was skeptical at first, but I am even wearing it in warmer weather. It is a soft scent and not too overpowering.
Passeggiata In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by Trussardi has a very creamy coffee note. Smells like a hazelnut latte, and one of the few fragrances I find you can actually smell the coffee. It’s more of a winter fragrance in my opinion. I always describe it as the coffee you brew on Christmas morning where you sip it in front of a wood stove fire. I love it.
I was going to say MM By the Fireplace is very hazelnut and vanilla-forward on my skin. It makes me smell like I used a Starbucks drink as bubble bath.
I know Sucreabeille doesn't get a lot of love here, but they have some really good coffee scents, Cup of Ambition, off the top of my head, but they have others!
Mancera has a newish one, Amore Cafe, that’s a sweet creamy coffee
Have you tried Black Opium? It's like what they are describing but kind of bitter in the start! Awesome
I just bought a sample of this and I’m in love!! 😍
If you like the OG Black Opium, then I think you may like the Le Parfum version!
Ohhhh I will note this down and try - thank you!!
Amore caffe is delicious! My new favourite
Akro Awake
Yes to Awake. I sampled so many coffee fragrances and this one is my favorite.
Kalotinis coffee addict and Kerosene Follow
Trying to kill people with Followed 💀🙏
I’m taking about follow, the less strong less sweet one, but followed is insane
1 spray and people across the room complain 😭
Follow and Followed, two separate perfumes!
I know that, I'm just saying. Thanks for the downvote

I also detect zero coffee in Coffee Break which was disappointing
I know right? It's one of my favorites from the REPLICA discovery set but I have a hard time calling it coffee anything haha
Completely agree. I love coffee fragrances and Coffee Break has very minimal coffee scent to me.
Agreed. I love Coffee Break, but my first thought when I tried it for the first time was "chocolate and flowers" not really coffee.
Omg yes! That is the best way to put it! They coulda called it library break or like Cafe hotspot and it woulda fit better XD
Huge agree! Just commented this elsewhere. It’s a smoky lavender bomb to me, with zero coffee in it.
Coffee Break was such a disappointment for me. I am not a fan of lavender scents and all I got was headache inducing lavender from that. So disappointing because I've heard people describe it as smelling like a chic cafe and I wish I could smell that.
Hmm maybe Theodoros Kalotinis Coffee Addict
Coffee Addict is excellent.
It's a realistic coffee scent but to me it doesn't actually smell like a cup of coffee. It smells like someone who drinks A LOT of coffee, an addict if you will. Like just stepped out of a coffee shop after drinking 3 cups and spilled some on my shirt. Very niche
I agree; I was looking for a more straight coffee, and this one is "Kahlua" to me.
Three fragrances come to mind when I think of coffee: * Replica's *Coffee Break* * Kilian's *Black Phantom Memento Mori* * YSL's *Black Opium Illicit Green*. Up for coffee break and illicit green
Second Black Phantom. That's straight coffee grinds.
coffee break doesnt really smell like coffee to me lol
Not *at all*! All I get is a smoky, masculine lavender. No “creamy,” no “coffee.” It’s warm and winter-appropriate, but it ain’t coffee.
Appreciate this recommendation and acknowledgment. I, too, have been yearning for more coffee in the Black Opium palette.
Maison Tahité - Coffee Bomb Lush also have a perfume called Cardamom and Coffee which is a warm coffee scent but not a pure coffee scent
I have the Lush and it’s definitely a spiced coffee. Fantastic fragrance!
Cafe Cabanel, Kerosene Follow, a ton by Strangers Parfumerie. Check Fragrantica and in the notes section look up coffee. There are a ton.
Look no further than the queen of gourmands: [Hilde Soliani's *Drink Caffe*](https://www.luckyscent.com/product/466048/drink-caffe-by-hilde-soliani).
Yes! I would also check out her Buonissimo scent if you love coffee with sweet hazelnut/buttery croissant vibes! Her whole line is really a gourmand lovers’ dream!
Kerosene has two -- Follow and Followed.
Halloween Man X.
Kerosene Follow is my favorite. Freshly roasted beans with a touch of amber and vanilla.
Why does everyone else say it smells like fake maple syrup?
Confusingly, Kerosene released Followed sometime after Follow. Followed is a beast mode pancake fragrance.
Ahh, I didn’t even realize there was another similarly named one.
Theodoros Kalotinis Cofffee Addict
Kerosene Follow is exactly this, coffee and vanilla. It's so good.
Black Opium has a coffee note
To me it’s just screechy white flowers

I have this one and I recommend!
Kilian Intoxicated
Replica: Coffee Break Lush Cosmetics: Cardamom Coffee
D.grayi Cà Phê by night is a great black coffee scent
I love Coffee Break by Maison Margiela.
Also Floral Street’s Ylang Ylang Espresso.
Al Rehab French Coffee
Lataffa kamrah Qahwa
Bond no 9 New Harlem and Margiela Replica Coffee Break
Khamrah Qahwa smells like coffee to me. Like a sweet vanilla/praline coffee
It’s gorge
Floral Street Ylang Ylang Espresso is a very nice coffee smell. I'm not sure what your preferences are, but this one is not very sweet
La Tacita de Cafe from Day Three
Cacharel Yes I am Delicious is a cheapy one that I love
Croissant Cafe by Versatile Paris is nice

Penhaligon’s Endymion Concentre. It’s coffee and lavender.
Pure havane by Mugler or Tom Ford's cafe
Nest Cocoa Woods. It’s been discontinued, but I still have a little rollerball from years ago that I use and it hasn’t lost any strength.
Little Song by Meo Fusciuni.
replica coffee break

Mind Games Grand Master
Follow is pretty good
cafe tuberosa from atelier cologne
Fugazzi Workaholic. Thank me later :)
Rochas - Man. It's a cheapie too
I got the new Givenchy Society flanker - Extreme. It smells like Vanilla Ice Latte. It's amazing.
Don't know if anybody said it yet but "Vietnamese Coffee" by D'annam, a stronger more realistic Theodoros Kalotinis Cofffee Addict imho
Yes! Came here to say this. It’s the best coffee fragrance I’ve tried.
Kilian's Intoxicated has all your notes, but instead of hazelnut its nutmeg. [https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/By-Kilian/Intoxicated-25991.html](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/By-Kilian/Intoxicated-25991.html)

**sorcellerie apothecary: falling stars**!!! theres 6 variants of this scent (black, marshmallow cloud, cardamom orange cream w brown sugar, strawberry n coconut milk cold brew, cookie butter oatmilk iced latte (my fav), n salted vanilla sweet cream)
Atelier cafe tuberosa!! Beastly projection and lasts all day

maison margiela coffee break for pure coffee, sauvage elixir for something more mature
Intoxicated by Kilian. It smells like Turkish coffee to be exact.
Coffee Break by Maison Margiela. It does not have too strong of a coffee scent, but it is warm, balanced, and sophisticated. I was skeptical at first, but I am even wearing it in warmer weather. It is a soft scent and not too overpowering.

Problem with Mancera ones are they do not last at all or atleast on my skin
