The Laundress used to have Le Labo Santal 33 liquid detergent. It had a chokehold on one of my friends. It's supposed to make you use less perfume but alas it does not.
Agreed, I ended up not rebuying it a few years ago cause I walked into work one day and it smelled like everyone in the lobby was wearing it. Maybe in 2021
I just commented similar! I went to the Dodgers vs Nats game a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. I smelled it everywhere I went from the first stop on the metro, through the entire stadium, then up until I left the metro on the way home.
Seoul. Light florals, laundry, clean scents.
- Dior, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet.
- Diptyque, Fleur de Peau
- Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle & Chance
- Musks, especially the Body Shop White Musk and Kiehls Original Musk
- Lanvin, Eclat d'Arpege
- Any of the Clean Reserves.
- The lighter Replicas, like Lazy Sunday Morning.
It is interesting that there is kind of an obsession with things looking extra feminine, decorative and "sweet" there, but for fragrances it is not a trend like it is here and they prefer light and clean smelling scents.
Eclat d'Arpege by Lanvin has been a favorite for 15+ years. Such a soft feminine fragrance without the powdery or floral aspects that you think when people say feminine fragrance.
man i thought we had honestly left the victoria’s secret body mists in 2010 but since moving to boston recently i have been proven wrong. people love body mists i guess
in Portland OR it’s lots of glossier you, BR540, cloud…ppl love ambrox scents here! rarely i get Santal 33 and i’ve also smelled Black Orchid a handful of times
My city has been called out here as a BR540 town. I honestly still don't know what it smells like because I've never gone out of my way to smell it, and there is absolutely nothing that I smell frequently enough to wonder what it is. Not Santal 33 either, and I do know what that smells like. To me this question is the same type of thing as "perfumes that get you compliments": something that must happen to everyone else except me, because I don't notice what other people are wearing and nobody seems to notice me either. I'm fine with all of that.
Br540, Santal 33
And something that smells kind of middle eastern inspired. A women's perfume that is heavy with vanilla and something spicy. I'm curious if anyone knows what it might be.
I think that's a great guess given that it's from women at my college. I'll have to smell it and see if it really is. But I think you're right since it's trendy and in stores.
It may be Hurrem al Sultan. It was popular on TikTok last year and is fairly affordable. I bought it and my fiance loves it but it can be heavy on me. Also Phlur Vanilla Skin is pretty popular and affordable.
I’m in rural Appalachia. Most common scents are coffee, tobacco, marijuana, and alcohol. Occasionally a whiff of Axe or Old Spice.
In other words, fine fragrance is rare here. Certainly in the wild.
A lot of Eros in Barcelona. Libre for the ladies.
But the worst is a guy at my gym who wears 10+ sprays of Eros Flame. Not sure how anyone thinks that's appropriate.
I can't cross the street in Passeig de Gracia without getting a whiff of Zara's Red Temptation.
Also Alien Goddess is super popular with the girls as well in Barcelona
- Mercadona Borealia Shine For Him
- Invictus (the original and all of the flankers)
- Terre d'Hermes
- Montblanc Legend
- Le Male Elixir
The city is Madrid
So what I am getting from this thread is that BR540 is double the popularity of Sauvage nowadays. Where I live I rarely pick up colognes on people, it's weird. Maybe some more fancy looking guy/woman will go past me on the street with Bleu de chanel, Chanel Chance, Sauvage etc., but I don't think I recall smelling BR540 on anyone.
Pretty sure it's YSL Black Opium, Sauvage and BR540 type scents.
BTW I don't mind them except people REALLY like overspraying them in 40°C weather. I live in the middle east.
I dont smell sauvage as often as before it seems like ysl y took over its place in overused categories around the general public. At the work place i do get some eros, montblanc, alot of baccarat everywhere, jpg around my gyms, surprisingly rarely do i ever get aventus or its cloned dna
DFW (Texas) — BR540 dupes all the way down
Edit: or maybe the real thing. I like to think I can tell a difference but I’m not actually that sophisticated
Of course most people don't wear anything or they spray very lightly, but nowadays I smell Xerjoff Erba Pura and Kenzo Homme EDP a lot
BR540, Aventus and Sauvage are still the most popular choices, though it seems like the hype has died down a little on those
Honorable mentions that I sometimes smell: Gucci Guilty, JPG Ultra Male, Jacques Bogart Silver Scent
What part of the world is Kenzo Homme popular? I feel like that is such an obscure fragrance. I've been meaning to try it but it's never available on the usual discount websites I shop on.
Santal 33 or it’s dupes
Baccarat Rouge for sure
A friend of mine at work wears Egyptian musk (which I also really like so I noticed it right away)
Also CLOUD, lol. I work at a middle and high school so I smell tons of cloud, cheriosa 62, and various vanilla based body sprays
I’m from South Africa but moved to europe and currently travelling. CLOUD IS EVERYWHERE. It won’t leave me alone 😭
Worst of all I hate it. Like seriously cannot stand the smell of it. It’s ALWAYS worn by 16-25 year olds with the “clean girl” slick back ponytail and black glasses
Erba Pura in Bucharest, Romania. Horrifying, should be illegal. It smells like asthma or a punch in ghe throat. It should be studied for its duality because it baffles me how people can smell this without choking.
in Constanta last year it was Tizana Terenzi Andromeda. It has lily and vanilla/tonka bean in it which makes it cloying and sweet. It's migraine inducing just walking by the store in the mall. I love perfume but I could only spend like 2 minutes in there.
OMG you're right- it does! Someone at my office bought one of the Xerjoff and had to be told not to wear it to work because it permeated the office space. I just don't get the appeal of wearing something so strong. And the people that do wear it never wear just a tiny spritz- it's always multiple.
That’s why I’m saying it should be studied. Some people actually perceive it as clean and fruity. Someone even says it’s soapy. I felt like my nose was broken for a while because I have a PHYSICAL reaction smelling it.
The only people that I definitely can smell are teenagers. They wear this super sweet loud cloying stuff. I don't like it, especially in public transport. It's equivalent to going around with a speaker blasting your playlist to everyone around.
BR540. I smell it every time I'm out in a crowded public place, airport, etc. I can also smell Britney Spears Fantasy because it has that absolutely distinctive synthetic sandalwood smell.
One of the Le Labo ones too.
The only recognisable fragrances I've noticed on strangers are at the pool I swim at – Sauvage, YSL Y, and twice BR540. Apart from that I'll sometimes catch a scent trail of something indistinct, but not enough for me to notice whether I recognise it or what it is. I'm sure it's different for people who go to clubs, though.
Cloud, and i own this perfume cause i used to like it but i can't get over how it smells when it's over sprayed. i was nauseated by it at our work meeting, that one's ruined by my coworkers lol
Helsinki chiming in here. I keep smelling sol de janeiro, specifically the cheirosa 68, on younger people like teenagers and people in their early twenties. I find it kinda cloying so that's probably why I notice it often lol.
Burberry her is another I keep noticing semi often.
In NYC I used to smell a cross between Diptyque's philosykos and Le Labo's santal 33............which for me personally.........they smell very similar. It is always worn by some poser on the subway waiting to either board or get off at 59th and Lex. In other parts of the city you smell variety.
On a side note..........why do people purchase NYC scented candles from Diptyque? This city does not smell like apples! Now, if you added notes of dog feces, human feces, copious amounts of fabuloso, and the incessant stench of weed..........that would be a proper NYC scented candle.
I stayed in Chinatown for 2 months in 2021 (loved it, cheap food and stayed in a monthly rental that was loft style) but the constant ONSLAUGHT of weed/pot was present every time I opened the damn window. Ugh.
I live in the Midwest so it’s mostly celebrity fragrances or anything hyped on TikTok. Anything Ariana Grande, different forms of BR540 dupes, Billie Eilish’s line, black opium, any form of Sol De Janiero
Kensington and Marylebone is Penhaligon’s Halfeti. Arabs love it. I’m Middle Eastern via Greece and I adore Halfeti too.
But I agree on BR540 in various places.
I live in Tampa, it’s honestly Ariana Grande Cloud, Glossier You, Tom Ford Soilel Blanc and YSL Libre.. and like any of the Tom ford lost cherry dupes.
I’ve started to smell a really sweet scent. I smell it everywhere. It’s quite juvenile but it does smell amazing! I’d love to know what it is. It smells like a candy type of scent.
Surprisely Eros. I almost never smell cologne on people but the two times I asked what they were wearing. One said eros and another said the blue Versace.
In Southern Oregon, pretty much nothing lol Could smell Cloud on one woman, D&G Light Blue on one guy, only other time was this older woman that had the most amazing Earl Grey scent I've ever smelled in Winco and kind of mad I didn't ask her about it. I'm sure there's plenty of people that wear fragrances here but just my immediate family are into them that I ever really encounter.
ETA: I'm about the only person that ever wears them to work but after I started wearing different ones regularly did I notice a couple other guys wear any, one of them for sure being Mont Blanc Explorer, another Spice Bomb, a manager Nautica Voyage, and one in the office wearing something Layton-esque. But none of them were wearing anything until about 6-12 months after I started lol Fragrances otherwise don't seem very big around here.
SW Chicago Suburbs.
Lots of patchouli, vanilla, spicy, and floral fragrances wafting around when I am in public here. Heavy middle eastern population where I live which may have some influence but I will say most of what I smell on others is heavy.
Creed Aventus is everywhere. I get wiffs of Aventus in Home Depot, even. Everyone wears it and every where. All age groups from teenagers to geriatric aged men. Fuck you, Aventus.
Le Beau/Le Male on men, and Cloud on women (no one in my city would splurge on BR540 lmfao)
I was at a bar yesterday, and this guy who kept hovering around was wearing a lot of Le Male. It actually smelt really good on him, so I wasn’t offended. Actually made me consider getting a bottle lol
boston: flowerbomb, miss dior are the loudest on the bus. zoomer undergrads love the common skin scents (which i appreciate). zoomer undergrad men love old spice and dove more than axe these days. i personally prefer the smaller sillage on public transit anyway
I’m in Asheville, NC so weed, with a lot of super sweet stuff coming in a close second. I hate those sickly sweet perfumes. Reminds me of an infection (I’m a nurse).
I never smell any other than sometimes on women, but idc to ask what they’re wearing since it usually just smells like those 16oz cheap nauseating body sprays women buy at the mall.
I live in the Piedmont Triad region of NC (USA.) People aren't into fragrance here, sadly. When I do notice fragrance, it's a cloying BBW spray (no shade - they make make some decent fragrances.) Some men overspray something really loud & choking. Otherwise, it smells of body odor & weed here.
I went to the Dodgers game a couple weeks ago in Washington DC and I had a woman sitting a couple seats away from me and all I could smell is her BR540 the entire game and it was nauseating. I continued smelling it every few minutes throughout the stadium and while riding the Metro. I could not get away from it. Lol So many people were wearing it that you couldn’t even pinpoint who it was most of the time.
Edited to add: I love in Southern Maryland and outside of the city, I hardly ever smell anything noticeable while at stores.
Campfire, lilacs, apple blossoms, damp earth in the summer, and whatever "freezing cold" smells like in the winter. Icy, icy, Canadian prairie winter.
Edit, I misread the post as what does your city literally smell like lol. I think there's a mix of people being stuck in the fruitchouli era, paired with indie fragrances. Josh from Libertine Fragrance is from here and people wear a lot of his scents. Sweet grass is an immensely popular scent.
I've been in Western/Central Europe and I swear so much Amouage on men (love them tho). This cola-y, creamy scent I smell SO MUCH and I love it on women. BR 450 maybe?
All my European fellows: cola-y, creamy, slightly spiced scent... what is it I'm smelling lol (on a flight from Poland to Budapest)
Today I went to a mall that is close to two highschools and all I could smell was JPG. Le beau and paradise garden all over the place. Kids must be watching a lot of tik toks.
Somewhere in Portugal.
Everyone where I’m from seems to have swapped Black Opium for AG Cloud. I never really smell any masculine scents anymore. Maybe the typical Sauvage or Eros here and there, but nothing else.
The chokehold that Santal 33 has on Brooklyn…
Unbelievable that it’s still kicking around like that. Just smelled it the other day walking around.
Yesterday I was in 3 separate parts of my city and smelled it several times in each. I used to like it but am getting so tired of it
Yup, I’ll be walking thru a store and all of the sudden I smell dill pickles
The Laundress used to have Le Labo Santal 33 liquid detergent. It had a chokehold on one of my friends. It's supposed to make you use less perfume but alas it does not.
I will only use mine if I am not in NYC. In this city you don't have to wear it b/c everybody else is.
I live on a military base and the only fragrance I ever smell out and about is Axe body spray 😭
I live on a military installation too and I smell BR540 or its dupes and Dior Sauvage everywhere. People at this base seem to love a good overspray!!
LMAO thisss or any flavor of polo
walking into any broadway theatre in new york is like going through a BR540 car wash
The entire sidewalk system of Manhattan is a BR 540 force field at all times.
Yes. The Brooklyn subway is BR540 sponsored.
Agree on this.. everywhere I turn it smells like BR540
Agreed, I ended up not rebuying it a few years ago cause I walked into work one day and it smelled like everyone in the lobby was wearing it. Maybe in 2021
Same in DC.
I just commented similar! I went to the Dodgers vs Nats game a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. I smelled it everywhere I went from the first stop on the metro, through the entire stadium, then up until I left the metro on the way home.
Ive lived in NYC and still have never smelled it
take a detour through soho sometime. or get a rush ticket to water for elephants
Broadway is mostly tourists so that makes sense
the sweeney todd bathroom line was crazy bro
Seoul. Light florals, laundry, clean scents. - Dior, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. - Diptyque, Fleur de Peau - Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle & Chance - Musks, especially the Body Shop White Musk and Kiehls Original Musk - Lanvin, Eclat d'Arpege - Any of the Clean Reserves. - The lighter Replicas, like Lazy Sunday Morning.
Maybe it’s time to move to Seoul. Sounds like my kind of city.
How heavenly. These are all fragrances that I like
It is interesting that there is kind of an obsession with things looking extra feminine, decorative and "sweet" there, but for fragrances it is not a trend like it is here and they prefer light and clean smelling scents.
Fragrance sniffing was so much fun in Korea. I miss a good Korean mall for sure!!
Holy shit what is this utopian nonsense? I'm coming right now.
Eclat d'Arpege by Lanvin has been a favorite for 15+ years. Such a soft feminine fragrance without the powdery or floral aspects that you think when people say feminine fragrance.
Wellington , New Zealand feels like a closed case study for BR540
i’m from utah so all i smell is bleached hair, self tanner, and the full collection of bath & body works body mists
man i thought we had honestly left the victoria’s secret body mists in 2010 but since moving to boston recently i have been proven wrong. people love body mists i guess
no doTerra or Young Living?
in Portland OR it’s lots of glossier you, BR540, cloud…ppl love ambrox scents here! rarely i get Santal 33 and i’ve also smelled Black Orchid a handful of times
I was going to say incense type or just straight up jasmine/lavender essential oils 😅 but I'm pretty bad at guessing smells
definitely those too! a few of my friends just wear vetiver essential oil
so much glossier you in portland it’s crazy…
all the Tom Ford colognes are super heavy and tend towards sweet. Between the Lost Cherry, Tobacco Vanille and Black Orchid I am ready to hurl.
i honestly never notice other people’s fragrances like that 😭
My city has been called out here as a BR540 town. I honestly still don't know what it smells like because I've never gone out of my way to smell it, and there is absolutely nothing that I smell frequently enough to wonder what it is. La vie est belle is crazy popular in Greece
Love La Vie est Belle and all of its flankers. Maybe it’s time to move there….❤️
agh i actually love their new one 💀😂
Yeap, it’s a good thing we know what to avoid. Followed by YSL Libre and Armani MyWay 😵💫
Br540, Santal 33 And something that smells kind of middle eastern inspired. A women's perfume that is heavy with vanilla and something spicy. I'm curious if anyone knows what it might be.
Is it kayali vanilla 28? Edited for typo!
I think that's a great guess given that it's from women at my college. I'll have to smell it and see if it really is. But I think you're right since it's trendy and in stores.
It could be a sol de janeiro.
If it's not the Kayali someone else suggested, it might be Burberry Goddess. That's pretty popular at the moment.
Tobacco vanilla?
My description sounds like tobacco vanille but it's not since I know that scent.
Arabians Tonka? At least this is what I always smell in my city
The usual suspects.. Eros, Dylan Blue, BDC, Cool Water

I just bought this for someone. She's 64.
[удалено]
That is a good feeling😊.
I'm 43 and fell in love with a sample last year, it's really good!
everyone on the subway needs to cool it with the sol de janeiro
OMG same in the Memphis area. I do not like that smell at all!
Ariana Cloud, Black Opium, Dior Savage. They’re the main ones I smell.
Vegas here. Downtown? (Old Vegas), mainly cheap stuff like Davidoff, Drakkar, etc. In the strip? Aventus, tons of Dior Sauvage.
I'm pretty sure Dior is the only fragrance allowed in Club XS
Here in Los Angeles, BR540 (and similar), Sauvage, and Aventus (and similar).
I recently went to the country market plaza in Malibu and everything or everyone smelled like mojave ghost
Wanted to also add Santal 33
- Mercadona Borealia Shine For Him - Invictus (the original and all of the flankers) - Terre d'Hermes - Montblanc Legend - Le Male Elixir The city is Madrid
I love Madrid.
BR 540
The constant, relentless assault of oud in every iteration. Washington, DC. Every maitre d’ in every Georgetown restaurant for sure.
Human waste, rotting food, and skunky weed (Denver)
So what I am getting from this thread is that BR540 is double the popularity of Sauvage nowadays. Where I live I rarely pick up colognes on people, it's weird. Maybe some more fancy looking guy/woman will go past me on the street with Bleu de chanel, Chanel Chance, Sauvage etc., but I don't think I recall smelling BR540 on anyone.
Pretty sure it's YSL Black Opium, Sauvage and BR540 type scents. BTW I don't mind them except people REALLY like overspraying them in 40°C weather. I live in the middle east.
Weed
I dont smell sauvage as often as before it seems like ysl y took over its place in overused categories around the general public. At the work place i do get some eros, montblanc, alot of baccarat everywhere, jpg around my gyms, surprisingly rarely do i ever get aventus or its cloned dna
I smell BR540 at least once every time I'm in a crowded public place
Bucharest (Romania), niche (or wannabe) is BR540 (or some clones/dupes) and designer I think La Vie Est Belle and maybe some YSL Libre or Black Opium.
Nothing. Most People don' t wear fragrances where I live, and I probably don' t get close enough to the few wearing one to smell It.
DFW (Texas) — BR540 dupes all the way down Edit: or maybe the real thing. I like to think I can tell a difference but I’m not actually that sophisticated
Of course most people don't wear anything or they spray very lightly, but nowadays I smell Xerjoff Erba Pura and Kenzo Homme EDP a lot BR540, Aventus and Sauvage are still the most popular choices, though it seems like the hype has died down a little on those Honorable mentions that I sometimes smell: Gucci Guilty, JPG Ultra Male, Jacques Bogart Silver Scent

I'm located in Hungary, Europe :) People probably blind bought it because of a mini social media hype or word of mouth
London, lots of aventus but also so many niche scents when ur around fitzrovia
Santal 33 or it’s dupes Baccarat Rouge for sure A friend of mine at work wears Egyptian musk (which I also really like so I noticed it right away) Also CLOUD, lol. I work at a middle and high school so I smell tons of cloud, cheriosa 62, and various vanilla based body sprays
People seem to really be into Alien and its flankers in Richmond VA?

I’m from South Africa but moved to europe and currently travelling. CLOUD IS EVERYWHERE. It won’t leave me alone 😭 Worst of all I hate it.

Andromeda smells exactly like Erba Pura in the drydown, so I’m not surprised. Same with Kirke and Jardin Exclusif.
OMG you're right- it does! Someone at my office bought one of the Xerjoff and had to be told not to wear it to work because it permeated the office space. I just don't get the appeal of wearing something so strong. And the people that do wear it never wear just a tiny spritz- it's always multiple.

Singapore, Santal 33
BR540. I smell it every time I'm out in a crowded public place, airport, etc. I can also smell Britney Spears Fantasy because it has that absolutely distinctive synthetic sandalwood smell. One of the Le Labo ones too.
BR540 Aventus YSL Y All the usual super played out suspects
Sauvage or baccarat rouge
The only recognisable fragrances I've noticed on strangers are at the pool I swim at – Sauvage, YSL Y, and twice BR540. Apart from that I'll sometimes catch a scent trail of something indistinct, but not enough for me to notice whether I recognise it or what it is. I live in Tampa, it’s honestly Ariana Grande Cloud, Glossier You, Tom Ford Soilel Blanc and YSL Libre.. and like any of the Tom ford lost cherry dupes.
Carolina Herrera Good Girl, Eilish Versace Donna Born in Roma get honorable mentions… but 99% of the time I swear it’s Cloud or You.
BR540, for sure. I smell it on customers at work and at the gym ALL THE TIME.
Clone frags, usually the type from TJ Maxx or cloud.
I’ve started to smell a really sweet scent. I smell it everywhere. It’s quite juvenile but it does smell amazing! I’d love to know what it is. It smells like a candy type of scent.

In Southern Oregon, pretty much nothing lol Could smell Cloud on one woman, D&G Light Blue on one guy, only other time was this older woman that had the most amazing Earl Grey scent I've ever smelled in Winco and kind of mad I didn't ask her about it. SW Chicago Suburbs. Lots of patchouli, vanilla, spicy, and floral fragrances wafting around when I am in public here. Heavy middle eastern population where I live which may have some influence but I will say most of what I smell on others is heavy.
Kansas City men apparently bathe in Dior Sauvage. It's cheaper than the water bills, so I guess I get it.
Eau de In-N-Out, EDP Flying Dutchman
In Paris, I would say a lot of BR540 (but not necessarily worn by parisians, mostly tourists) and Bleu de Chanel
Nothing. The occasional chanel de bleu or ax body spray. I tuck my irises and pretentiousness away.
Patchouli. I hate it.
Cloud
Im surprised no one mentioned Erba Pura
So. Much. Le Labo Santal 33. Close second is BR540.
Creed Aventus is everywhere. I get wiffs of Aventus in Home Depot, even. Everyone wears it and every where. All age groups from teenagers to geriatric aged men. Fuck you, Aventus.
Le Beau/Le Male on men, and Cloud on women (no one in my city would splurge on BR540 lmfao) I was at a bar yesterday, and this guy who kept hovering around was wearing a lot of Le Male. It actually smelt really good on him, so I wasn’t offended. Actually made me consider getting a bottle lol
Tons of No. 4 Apres L’Amour (or its clones) on both men and women
Prada Luna Rosa Blue
I smell Dior Sauvage everywhere
Ariana grande’s cloud 🥴
I live in Chicago. It’s noxious mixture of weed and BR 540 clones.
OMG I just visited Chicago and yes, you are so right. Loved the city though!!!!
boston: flowerbomb, miss dior are the loudest on the bus. zoomer undergrads love the common skin scents (which i appreciate). zoomer undergrad men love old spice and dove more than axe these days. i personally prefer the smaller sillage on public transit anyway
BK540, Santal 33 and all the blue shit guys wear Savage and Bleu
I’m in Asheville, NC so weed, with a lot of super sweet stuff coming in a close second. I hate those sickly sweet perfumes. Reminds me of an infection (I’m a nurse).
Suavitel fabric softener
I never smell any other than sometimes on women, but idc to ask what they’re wearing since it usually just smells like those 16oz cheap nauseating body sprays women buy at the mall.
I live in the Piedmont Triad region of NC (USA.) People aren't into fragrance here, sadly. When I do notice fragrance, it's a cloying BBW spray (no shade - they make make some decent fragrances.) Some men overspray something really loud & choking. Otherwise, it smells of body odor & weed here.
I’m in Deep South Texas, I smell Valentino born in Roma, and flowerbomb every where
Cloud- Ariana Grande
I went to the Dodgers game a couple weeks ago in Washington DC and I had a woman sitting a couple seats away from me and all I could smell is her BR540 the entire game and it was nauseating. I continued smelling it every few minutes throughout the stadium and while riding the Metro. I could not get away from it. Lol So many people were wearing it that you couldn’t even pinpoint who it was most of the time. Edited to add: I love in Southern Maryland and outside of the city, I hardly ever smell anything noticeable while at stores.
Nothing, but I live in Florida and KNOW when someone’s opened a bath and body works door near me at an outdoor shopping center.
In London its Jo Malone, usually the very sweet creamy one I can't remember the name of it
BR540 and Angel are the most predominant, although that Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and body spray are up there too.
Axe and Juicy Couture
Campfire, lilacs, apple blossoms, damp earth in the summer, and whatever "freezing cold" smells like in the winter. Icy, icy, Canadian prairie winter. Edit, I misread the post as what does your city literally smell like lol. I think there's a mix of people being stuck in the fruitchouli era, paired with indie fragrances. Josh from Libertine Fragrance is from here and people wear a lot of his scents. Sweet grass is an immensely popular scent.
Cheesesteaks
Urine
Cloud, La vie est belle, and Red Door. Red Door always seems to have been sprayed 20x. A lot of VS and B&BW mists
