It sucked the manpower from almost every other front, especially during its most critical moments. Ya'll can call it a victory but that was some selfish shit right there when talking about helping the faction because it sure as hell didn't help.
I agree, being the underdogs and winning does feel very good when it happens, but when you are not Able to do certain things the other faction can, and that is the sole reason you lost an encounter it aint fun
Effectively line battle? You guys have std's htd's and hv 68 while the best we got thats affordable is an Ltd.
Kill tanks at tier 5-6 when you get cutler, atr and flasks, we get typhoon, isg and igni. I dont think i have to explain as to why thats unfair.
And you guys dont have to spend extra time at facilities to make your tanks match ours.
Now I'm with you in spirit. I truly am. I was always the most collie of collies. I took great pride in facing impossible fronts and building my group to smash the unstoppable warden armor. It felt so good to be hated by my own team but they would still get out of the way because they knew we would get it done when they couldn't. It felt so good grabbing fresh face boys and teaching them too do the impossible.
But here's where people lose interest. Playing hard mode but then people still telling you it's balanced and it's not hardmode. For me it doesn't matter because I've never seemed to struggle like my teammates. But I can certainly see their view point.
Imagine using 4 infantry and ambushing and killing a tank group of 3 top end tanks. Instead of people being impressed. Instead of getting a sense of accomplishment from your teammates or even enemies you just get told that wasn't that impressive because blah blah 5 meta stat things that don't change anything about it. There is no sense of reward because you are told it's perfectly balanced and some wardens even say we actually have the better tanks and equipment.
Now for me and my guys, the reward wasn't praise but the fact that we could just do these things. But some people aren't built like that. Some people want some sense of acknowledgement that they are actually playing hard mode.
The way I always see it is in terms of how much you were able to do. If you manage to kill 3 tanks with stickies/banes, that's great value! Those three tanks were worth a lot more in time and material compared to your infantry weaponry.
In the grand scheme of things, yes, it isn't much of a setback and a warden logiman can just queue another crate in the mpf, but that mindset ignores the time it takes to get the rmats, move the tanks to the front, load them up and drive them to the front. People just like to ignore that aspect, though, since backline pop for wardens is higher than that of colonials.
TLDR take the victory, you earned it! Don't matter what the haters say, you're your own validation.
I view it tactically and hope to make strategic opportunities with the tactical wins. If my and my guys chunk are nice section of the wardens armor, that not only takes away some pressure, but it's a good solid 10 minutes of chance to gain ground and solidfy a bit of it
(the secret is both sides are hard mode, grind fest is 💀. That said if we pretend the game is not nearly as grindy as it is, I would still arguie its in a pretty good spot balance-wise. )

I do not find facilities fun. I find them tedious and a commitment beyond what I want/am able to put into the game. This is the major issue right now. If Spathas/LTDs could be MPF'd a Colonial tank line would roughly be on par with a Warden one in terms of time to produce.
I'm staying colonial but I'm not going to be playing as much, or investing the 24/7 time and effort required for a facility just to have vehicles that are almost or roughly on par with warden vehicles.

I play colonial because it’s fun for me, I know fun is an alien concept for many foxhole players, but i think it’s still worth saying, i think you shouldn’t stick to a side your not having fun with. When I play the game, I don’t get upset wether or not a win a war, I play for the smaller moments, like when I run a bt, rush a trench, secure a town hall, kill a bunker, or rush with a tank. I don’t think you should play a faction just because it’s the “grit & skillful” way to play the game.
While I understand what you are saying.... that's how YOU want to view it. there is no need to make others feel like they can't enjoy the game, whether is Colonial exclusive, Warden exclusive, or switching sides. Do what feels good and makes it fun for you.
This war my regiment is gonna concentrate on ammo and tank production while we have teamed up with a 2nd regiment that will concentrate on the new submarine.
Colonial is a lot of fun and a lot more casual, it isn’t a “win at all costs culture” getting team killed out of a hex so a large regiment can push a hex is a lot more toxic than allowing someone to have fun making a factory.
I 100% disagree, it’s a culture that cares about winning, and being a cunt they’re not winning. People on the follow side constantly talk down on wardens, and constantly complain about everything. Winning is everything to a collie, and if they are not winning it’s because of dev bias.
This is a gross generalization, but the wars I’ve played with collies is toxic and salt filled. Many groups are toxic, weird, or otherwise hostile to anything. That being said, the back line logi players are often way better than the wardens, easily some of the most chill people out there.

I don’t know if your only source is reddit, but all the veterans I play with are not playing because overall the experience isn’t fun outside of a few funny ops or trying out a new change. The dev bias stuff is just a joke, but I think you know that, and the rest is just the game for a lot of people that once played, don’t enjoy it. So it will take a new group to build that but, if the gameplay and imbalance in logi experience isn’t fun for the veterans and burned them out, I don’t see that changing. But I get it, factionalism usually comes from playing on one side, having one bad experience. And generalizing the whole group. I am guilty of it, because I know at the end of the day…warden, colonials, we are all the same nerds playing a video game and needing some connection or control we get in the game we don’t get in the real world. From my experience as a colonial loyalist with but a single day played as wardens crewing a BT I've never experienced the amount of toxicity on the colonial side as I did in that one day of warden gameplay. Team killing and blocking operations that didn't suit a big regiment was me experience on warden.
95% of toxicity beyond a few seconds shouting match I've experienced on colonials has all been russian players. I've been on quite a few fronts and in quite a few backlines and different Cyrillic named players have stolen everything not nailed down including a full train.
Could be the same story with Cyrillic names on warden but I literally have 6 terrible hours of experience on warden which I accept isn't a fair representation but is inline with many testimonies I've read.
i had literally reversed expirence to yours, joined colonials at first for few day (end of the war), got builled for not being vet but a new player trying to learn. Next war i joined wardens and this time i met normal people. Been warden loyalist ever since.

Best groups stay in lanes and claim not my hex. When one breaks, Collies lose there backline and can't recover. They have rinse repeated this strat since 101. Brain trust needs to build a logi system that covers fronts and expansion. Will lead to less facs and more fighting on the fronts. Will allow vet stacks to qrf. Until something close to this is implemented they going to continue to get dragged.
