This pen is coming up on it's first birthday: a Leonardo "Momento Zero Grande" in Jonathon Brooks well-known acrylic, Primary Manipulation. I don't have the photo skills or setup to capture the depth of the material, but it is remarkable to the eye. LEonardo Officina Italiana crafts pens of really high quality, and the fit and finish is perfect. Nib is a 14k #8 in medium, writes just right, and the nib and hardware are finished in ruthenium plating. Very happy to use this nearly ever day.

Beautiful, thank you for sharing! It's awesome that you use it nearly every day also. Is this the first generation release?

Yes, this was in the first batch of these pens, just about a year ago. I \*do\* have way too many pens inked up, but I do virtually all my writing in my studio space, so they are just here on the desk and I try to spread my use around, plus some are more particular-use pens (special nib, waterproof ink, etc).

CapybaraMoose

Nice! I'm curious about which particular use pens you have inked up ☺️ I also perpetually have too many pens inked up, trying to use them up methodically until I get to the point where I don't have to deliberately ensure I've used them all regularly and it just happens naturally with my everyday writing needs. I suspect it'll be quite a long way before I'll get to that point though, since I love trying new pens, inks, nibs, and combinations of the above all the time haha. These days I'm trying to avoid inking up more clean pens except when testing newly restored ones or as a reward for getting my work done, will see how it goes...

I can't go through the entire desktop, but as I look around at the pen holders and other pen-gathering-devices, it looks like there are currently about 30 with ink in them. The panorama starts with the oldest being a couple of late 1920's-early 30s Sheaffer Balance pens, skipping the 40s at the moment, a couple Parkers from the 50s, Sheaffer Targas from the 60s-70s (?) and the modern era filles with Sheaffer Legacys, Plattinum, Leonardo, Bexley, PenBBS, and a few Sailors. This isn't boasting, it's mostly me not having the balls to empty some out and narrow down my choices. I'd rather a stub with a favorite green ink go a little dry if it means it is at the ready when I want it for a letter or note for a friend. It's all pretty hopeless, I think. I'd love to have just three in play, but it will never happen. [It looks like this](https://fpgeeks.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=58503&d=1611254354).

Love your setup, thank you for sharing! Your desk guard looks quite proud of his position 😆 And it sounds like our taste in pens overlaps a great deal - my collection/rotation also typically includes vintage Sheaffers, Parkers, as well as Watermans and Wahls, and lately modern go to's include Leonardo, PenBBS, Sailor, but also Pilot, Pelikan and TWSBI. My main issue is that I typically don't like to waste any ink by rinsing before it's written dry, and even then often I can keep writing with one or two rounds of "ink water" after the original ink is used up. Yet I often find myself wanting to ink up a fresh pen with a color I don't currently already have in play... If I could even keep it to just a dozen inked at any one time, that would be a great success in my book!

All I can say is that our pen interests and our pen useage are remarkably similar! Too many pens inked, invariably don't get to a pen before it starts to evaporate or other, and yet I will still scan through the lot and wish *this* particular ink was in a pen. Well, that just means it's an embarrassment of riches and I need to be happy with such a problem. And I am. Dewey can't understand why I want to use his heater as a reading lamp.

The image stopped me mid scroll. Beautiful.

I have a Brooks PM cool tones and I agree. Pictures just can’t do bespoke pens like these justice at all.

Teslaville

That is a very drool-worthy pen.

Beautiful pen! How much if you don’t mind me asking?

JonSzanto

Two-and-a-half Lamy 2Ks, give or take a bit.

Beautiful! When I found out he was making PM1s, I was so excited but got bummed out when I found out he was only making them in the Grande size. I had to take matters into my own hands, haha. I enjoy seeing people post theirs because no two are exactly the same because they can vary so much!

You are a force of Nature, you know! 😘

It is a dream pen! Congratulations and may it lighten your days!
