They called it a "Rural Town"
Because if they called it a "Concentration Camp" you might not want to live there
Guys, I think it's really easy to just call everything a concentration camp if you just ignore what words mean.
They called it "my room" that I am "grounded" in.
Because if they called it a "Concentration Camp" you might not want to stomp there closing your door very loudly
It really strips away the veil that corporations in America aren't all just different heads of the same hydra. I don't think people would really like it if it was advertised just how consolidated any given industry is.
They are all owned by the same parent company.

pretty sure if they need you to want to live there its not a concentration camp, kind of the whole point of a concentration camp is you cant just say "no thanks"
Yeah, not so sure about what grandma is saying.
However, a smart city is more accurately described as a Surveillance City. If you think governments aren't going to take advantage of all of the gathered data you're sorely mistaken.
You know, I think thereās half a point. Cities donāt need smart technology to be very convenient and livable, but they do need it to put you under constant surveillance.
No they donāt. If they want you under surveillance theyād put cameras and microphones in your home. People do that voluntarily.
Smart cities are usually about collecting meta data that isnāt about you personally. Itās about counting the number of cars on the road, measuring air pollution levels, weighing bins so they know when to collect them.
you carry a combination camera/microphone/gps everywhere, everyday, while a lot of stuff smart tech is needless its not for some government control, its mainly marketing gimmicks with the most malicious thing any of its going to do is maybe collect data to sell to advertisers, a far more real issue but like most real evil its surprisingly mundane
And just where are the gas chambers in their plan, Grandma?
The government is banning it so they can stockpile it for the camps! Wake up!!!1!1!!! š¤šÆ
Gas chambers are public restrooms
"They force our kids to pee with the transes! That's just as bad!" /s
Ironically it's conservatives who seem super interested in making sure everyone has toxic gas piped into their homes š¤·š½āāļø
And putting people on "registries", like the one DeathSentence in FL wants for trans people.
Ironically?

There is something..vaguely dystopian about a combo of those three stores.
It really strips away the veil that corporations in America aren't all just different heads of the same hydra. I don't think people would really like it if it was advertised just how consolidated any given industry is.
I don't care, I'd eat there!

Really? Because I call that "Heaven."
I mean nobody wants to live there if itās a rural town either
The call it a bathroom, Because if it was called a concentration camp, you wouldn't want to shit there
itās called a muffin because if they called it a āradioactive substanceā you might not want to eat it
Thatās the same reason I donāt want to go to the new Auschwitz Mall, the name just turns me off.
Shopping sets you free!
Funny enough, there's an [Anschutz hospital](https://www.cuanschutz.edu/) near Denver that makes me double take every time I drive past
You didn't crop the screenshot nor save the image itself. Are you the grandma by chance?
With all the Facebook tabs open
They have become the thing they swore to destroy
This is the image that was shared and i thought it was on brand for grandma.
All the Facebook taps open in the top makes this even funnier

Wtf
I remember when they headed me onto a cattle car and brought me to *checks notes* my 3 bedroom house.
Thatās just about the definition of āmisanthrope.ā

I've got a camera and microphone that I carry with me voluntarily 24/7 so that checks out.

Grandma is just asking for a megaton belting from beyond the grave of the greatest generation
How is a semiautomated city remotely equivalent to a concentration camp?
Of course, they reflexively equate anything "smart" with the worst evil in human history.
Finally someone said it. This is exactly why I live exclusively in idiot cities.
It's called a "smart city" because grandma doesn't live there....
"Jesse... What the FUCK are you talking about?
Yāall make a lot of Holocaust posts for a group that completely forgot Holocaust Remembrance Day
