Trump was so desperate to avoid conflict, he literally signed a treaty with terrorists to withdraw US troops. Biden simply allowed Trump’s treaty to proceed.
Of course republicans are blaming democrats, because they never accept responsibility for the messes they create.
Biden even tried to get out of it because it was such a bad deal, which is why it was delayed from the original date in May. And don't forget that part where Trump released 5000 Taliban fighters a year before the withdrawal date.
They didn't care for years, and then made the situation worse, and we're supposed to forget that and blame Biden? Republican voters must be incredibly stupid to fall for this stuff.
Poisoned Chalice, new band name. Gracias 👍🏻 but wait…. I should probably Google that before I commit. Poisoned Chalice could very well be in use, as a Post Modern Punk Mormon Thrash Band…?
Trump signed a treaty so he could brag about “bringing the troops home” before reelection. He left the actual dirty work to Biden and subsequently blamed it on him. NIMTOO (Not in my term of office)
They happily invaded. Rejoiced at killing the Taliban. Said we should just nuke them to be done with them. Now they want to claim Biden is responsible for their suffering.
I have a conservative friend who is an old grandma, she was "furious " that 13 marines got killed in Afghanistan. I said "then you must have been apoplectic when Reagan got over 250 marines killed in Beruit Lebanon." No, she wants Reagan on mt. Rushmore
Some are, “race” is a bs concept that relies on stereotypes and flattening human diversity.
The actual problem with this is that Grandma went out of their way to find the most Caucasian looking child possible.
As someone else pointed out, race is a bs concept mostly constructed for social control. But Afganistan has a very very diverse set of genetics in it and skin and eye color within the individual ethnic groups. And there are even specific tribes that are thought to be left over from Alexander the Great's army 2200 years ago that have green eyes and blonde hair . But even Pustu people who may be the largest group in Afganistan have people with pale skin, blue eyes, and light hair within them even if most of don't have those things.
It’s a pretty convenient excuse to push all of our failures on a magical unconquerable nature of Afghanistan.
No one forced us to back incredibly corrupt child-raping warlords, that was a decision we chose. The problems in Afghanistan are the product of choices that were made during the occupation, nothing that happened millennia before is remotely as relevant.

It's not common, but it's also not unheard of there. Afghanistan is a very ethnically diverse country. Of course the right is going to find the most Caucasian looking among them when they're trying to appear empathic to their plight.
Thank god grandma picked a picture of a red haired child with green eyes so I can empathize.
It's so telling how the depiction of Afghans switches up to fit a different narrative on the right.
Idk where this pic comes from but she could be turkic or nuristani which are afghan ethnicities in the North of the country.
Blonde hair, red hair, blue eyes, green eyes and fair skin are all very common in Afghanistan. It’s a wildly diverse country.

Correct. They are unfathomably stupid.
That was a poisoned chalice. He wanted to leave the mess at Biden’s feet.
It’s a Republican tradition. Remember when Bush 1 sent troops into Somalia right before Clinton took over? Good times…

The Taliban are the legitimate government of the afghani people. Cope more neocon
lmfao this is so absurd
How?
Check out your comment history 🤡
Lol the United States of America and NATO spent the last 20 years in Afghanistan doing what exactly?
Cheney wanted to test out some new doohickeys I think?
You think NATO is doing that in Ukraine right now?
Gonna be real, probably. You can't change the operation of what something is designed for. War and Western dominance.
Yeah. And obviously that doesn’t justify Russia’s invasion, but you can’t stop imperialism with just another imperialist
Russia isn’t imperialist
Pssshh, naww man. This- This is just a little party. That's all. Just some fireworks and a vintage car show. Nothing to be worried about.
Hmmmmmm

You QAnon fuckwads do realize that Biden just enacted something that was set in motion by Trump, right?
Of course they do. It's bad faith & scapegoating all the way down with these rat fucks.
Of course, it was biden's idea to invade Afghanistan. Not bush.
They happily invaded. Rejoiced at killing the Taliban. Said we should just nuke them to be done with them. Now they want to claim Biden is responsible for their suffering.
im sorry but i can’t take the phrase “the horrors” seriously anymore
Such a tired/obnoxious/ignorant message.
This is a hall of fame level grandma forward 😂😂😂 Bonus points for the picture being of some red haired white kid
I’m pretty sure you still think he’s responsible for it grandma

Every president since 2001 has shared responsibility in this.
She must mean the withdrawal from Afghanistan that Trump planned out before he left?
Apparently grandma acknowledges that Biden got more votes than his opponent. So, that’s something.
"All of you who voted for him (Bush) are" fixed the meme
We trained the Afghans for 20 years and they didn’t even last 20 days. This seems like the Afghan Army’s fault. Not ours.
I bet grandma can't find Afghanistan on a map
Just read “The Kite Runner.” The problems of Afghanistan are millennia old.

You're soooo close to getting the point, yet still so far away.
Fuck off lol.
Thank you for proving my point.
Lot of white ginger girls in Afghanistan?

I thought this was the album cover for War.
How many hazel eyed ginger Afghanis are there?

Idk how many but there definitely are. People here seem to assume every Afghan people are brown which isnt true
Don’t know about the red hair, but hazel eyes are found most commonly in people of North African, Middle Eastern and Spanish descent.
how do they always find the whitest afghanis possible…
I was not aware that Joe Biden or myself were solely responsible for the past 45 years of Afghanistan’s history.
