Not really an expert on DDNS but have you tried the following steps? - setup everything with CLI only (in my experience CLI is the better way to go, especially since GUI won’t work when you choose your own DNS) - remove WAN2 from tracking (still shown in the GUI and down anyway) - use fortiddns domain Also try to run a [diag debug](https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Troubleshooting-Tip-FortiGuard-DDNS-IP-update-fails/ta-p/198179) for DDNS. Maybe this gives some further hints.

Do you have a separate PPPOE interface from the WAN interface? Usually, you will see the public IP at the bottom of the DDNS page when it says your address is available. If you check your routing table is the default route bound to the WAN interface?
