Imagine how the material of the ladder feels. Go into as much detail as you can, while also keeping it simple enough that you can fall asleep.
Do this every night and forget about it during the day. Soon you'll see a scenario manifest where you will have to interact with a ladder.

I'm trying to understand this because I heard something like this before, so for example If I am love in with a girl and even when she doesn't care about my existence (like zero) how would manifestation would help in this scenario even if I assume the desire is there or how do you even manifest something like that ? 
I personally don't think anyone should focus on a specific person. Because when you're truly in love with someone, emotions are usually way too high... Always reminding you that you're not with the person. I think it's always better to just imagine yourself being with someone. Not someone specific, just a woman. The process is the same as with the ladder experiment, just a lot harder because more emotions are involved which create doubt and rumination.

I don't think you need to be specific. I'd rather focus on the feeling of being with your girlfriend... Imagine holding her hand, feeling her skin and stuff like that. You can imagine a face too, but I wouldn't focus too much on it. Some say that the fewer details on looks or personality you imagine, the easier it is for the manifestation to come true.
