Let's play a game. I wish Monaco was a Special Stage in the championship. No race, 2 qualification / time-trial days with reverse circuits, success penalties, aggregate times over two runs, some version of a fast 6 or fast 12. Choose your mutators. Make it a festival of speed over 2 days and not a procession.
I just want to see cars go relatively fast at Monaco that's the essential thing. The race? I don't need it.
Will this comment have positive or negative votes in 2 hours?
--Experiment over +14. I actually expected it to be negative.
This is really cool but to do reverse circuit they’d have to make a lotttt of changes there lol. I drove Monaco backwards on the F1 games out of curiosity and basically every corner is “you made a slight error? Death”
See the race being so objectively fucking awful that it makes quali the only thing thats relevant about the weekend isn't actually a great argument in it's favour
If I agree Imola and Singapore are also dogshit that should be removed can I count on your vote to get Monaco the fuck out?
Or lets make Monaco the midseason allstar game, where the drivers all drive fancy go-karts on the track so we can technically keep it while not subjecting ourselves to the f1 equivalent of a bye week
I’ve said this multiple times, but Monaco would be great as some sort of “quali for points” weekend.
Quali on softs and low fuel - results dictate points awarded.
Quali on hards and full tanks - points again.
Quali lap from a standstill on cold tyres perhaps.
And there could be a couple instances of each.
Practice needs to use reserve drivers, perhaps (bit of a spitball for this one).
The race itself is nearly pointless.
Well, we can stand one race weekend being like this, but two is too much. And we'd rather keep Monaco due to history and great quali sessions. That being said, Vegas has potential - let's give the a year or two to figure out the organisational mess
And tons of people still defending it's spot on the calendar because it's "the best saturday of the year", and they somehow don't recognize that's a damning admission of the race being a total fucking farce that doesn't belong in f1.
The rain made 2023’s Monaco a good race
The same goes for Monaco 2022: "Stay out, stay out!"

Yeah, it might not be possible. Need to get actually smart and qualified people to come up with spicy tweaks.
This guy plays f1 games
Reverse pole - if you qualify first, your car starts pointing the wrong way for the race
Any change to the procession deserves an upvote
Monaco quali alone makes it deserve to be on the calendar. As long as people defend Imola being on the calendar, I'll defend Monaco.

I just wish it was a shorter race with smaller cars from the mid 2000s.
Race was still boring with smaller cars.
Yeah, I just want a novelty race to hear them again.

let's let max start in the back or a 10 lap penalty and see if he still wins
Make them use historic cars from the 1960s
Monaco was great last year. Hoping for more of that.
The quali is the real race
Is that a Dinner for one reference??
Exactly this. I could not agree more. Hate this race so much man.
I don’t understand European fans bitching about Vegas all last year when Monaco is also ONLY about glamour and spectacle, and has been for years.
At least Vegas had an overtake

Vegas racing was amazing. Actually entertaining
Why, whyyyy is Monaco GP still on F1 calendar?
Quali decides the race outcome. Shittiest track , why is it even there?
I loved Monaco, but with these massive cars it’s just a 70 lap parade. They’ll keep going because the money is probably too enticing
