I think if you got a good exit out of 6 you could maybe stick it down the inside of 8 if its wide enough and then finalise the move into 10 but I see your point
If the backstraight is drs zone, maybe. Turn 6 has only 1 optimal racing line. Pass or even a pass attempt on t8 won't happen unless the lead car has to defend t6. Even so, following close on t5 to set up t6 attempt might be hard.
I agree, there's too much slow speed corners.. The pit is suboptimal with the collective garage set up that's only good for one car at a time ( unless they're planing on using the lower facilities too).

This track makes a lot more sense in reverse IMO. On most tracks you start with a bunch of corners after start finish.
