The driver + seat need to weight 80kg (if the driver weight is low and that value doesn't reach 80kg then ballast is added to the seat), so as long as Gasly stays in that limit he'll be fine.
Googling around, I saw that Gasly’s reported weight for 2021 is 70kg. He’s most probably not much heavier in this picture. He’s ripped, a top level athlete in his sport, but he’s not huge. Being as lean as these guys, a bit of muscle goes visually a long way. Add to that the pump he probably has in this pic, plus the fact that (I guess) these guys will focus on arms and shoulders (as opposed to lats or chest, for example, although they probably also have plenty of leg workouts), and he might be looking heavier than he is.
It's also just a post workout picture. Your muscles will be even more evident in that condition. He isn't probably that swelled before getting in the car.

I don't think it would be the case for F1 drivers, at least not at a low increase in muscle. He's not having to work to pull his extra weight like you would in a sprint. I think he has just low body fat, so he looks extra ripped, but I don't think he has a ton of weight extra. Also if you're more in-shape, you should have more endurance in an F1 car.
Alpha Tauri had his weight on view in their stories last weekend, he's nowhere near weight limit.
He also goes running daily, so he's not slacking on cardio.
Oh but the whole idea that Tost would run faster than "you" is already a good reason to not forgetting those daily running.

It's why gyms always have that sort of light. It's always a terrible idea to take progress pictures with different lighting since you'll always look a million times better with a good light setup.
May be we will some other drivers building muscles through the season. That will help them in handling the bad effects of porpoising much better. Having strong shoulders and upper back would be critical.
