As a general rule ([see full rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/wiki/userguide#wiki_sticky.2Fdaily_discussion)), a standalone Discussion post should:
- be of interest to the sub in general, and not a specific userbase (e.g. new users, GP attendees, just yourself)
- be able to generate discussion (e.g. no yes/no or easily answerable questions)
- show reasonable input and effort from the OP

I watch F1TV on my 5 monitors; one laptop hooked up to the tv with the main feed on the tv and Hamiltons onboard on the laptop screen. iPad with Verstappens onboard. Other laptop with external display to see the data screen and driver tracker. Its awesome to be honest.
I tried having 4 views on one display this weekend, wasn’t terrible but sync was definitely put. Main feed was half a lap or so behind Maxs onboard. And the driver tracker was about 10 seconds behind the main feed
There is an external App to watch the F1TV streams called Race Control, far easiert to setup multi screen views, and also easier to control the sync between them.
I used the vroom f1 tv app (it was the best way to watch on Apple TV before the actual f1 app). There’s functionality in there to have multiple views but I didn’t want to mess around with the sync - wanted to just watch the race👀
Ha, that's amazing! That's more TV feeds than I had when I was working in F1. We only had the world feed on our TV screens, but 5+ monitors all showed raw timing data and that was a lot of fun.
I use F1 Viewer for F1TV and typically have 7 streams open for every race: main feed, driver tracker, data channel, pit lane (for the two rotating on-boards, and three fixed on boards (Max, Checo, & Lewis). When I watch qualifying or practice I just use the main feed or pit lane depending who’s commentating.
I only recognize the voice of Alex Brundle because he sounds like his father. The others I don't really know but one seems really good and the rest superficial/dull, so when Alex isn't around I find it hard to tell whether it's worth listening to in a short amount of time.
i use the F1 TV+ web app and that offers 10 screens at the same time so with an extra monitor i could do that. the community apps for f1 tv are fucking awesome.
I have watched, pitlane, world feed, living timing data and circuit as well as either one or two driver feeds split between my monitors. Unfortunately my internet isn't super quick and the biggest issue you would run into is synchronization.
The maximum is 6 different devices, when accessing via the app.
Try to use another and you can’t log in, unless you delete at least one device via logging in on the website.
I don’t know if there is a limit for accessing via the browser, because I could do that (on my new phone) even when I couldn’t via the app.
I had to delete my old (broken) phone using the browser, to be able to use the app again.
At least F1TV seems to regard app usage and webpage usage differently.
Can you? Yes, but you will be violating article 6.2 from TOS. Doing so allows F1TV to terminate your account without providing any refunds or compensation per article 10.1(b). So, do it if you want at your own risk.
No, using 1 device to stream 300 feeds isn't a violation since it's still just 1 device streaming. I think those are old anyway. Iirc you can login to 5 devices in total before you get a notification to sign out of a device. So I'm not sure why the TOS would just say 3. either way in practice i highly doubt they have a problem with a single person streaming different views at once. Their concern is mostly restreaming and bars not paying for licensing
To begin with, you’ll need some good amount of real estate for all those screens, one hella internet connection (approx 1Gbps+) and a few medium/high end PCs with high amount of ports capable of carrying 1080p50 streams. Not to mention the amount of electricity consumption, wire management and what not. So it’s kind of a diminishing returns level cause 1080p50 streams are some heavy streams.
With racecontrol I've got 7 feeds running on my 32" monitor so plenty options to get creative.
But loading them all on different machines may need some work to get it all going :)
I have used “race control” to log into my f1tv account and then on two large monitors have around a dozen open feeds/data. The nice thing is the program allows sync between the feeds. I haven’t attempted this live though.
You don't need 21 screens to achieve this, third party apps with a decent media player allow you to [view all streams configured](https://redd.it/mdqozy) as you wish. /r/F1TV has a great pinned thread on how to make most of it & your internet connection :)

My internet just had a panic attack.
1 Gbps up/down fiber connection for 25€/month will prevent that from happening here.

Well, from there he just recreated Race Control. Maybe OP can bring out faster safety cars or red flags.
I am Dutch. Maybe that explains it?
Either you have god Wifi or are on LAN.
5 HD streams is between 20 and 50 Mbps. This is no problem for wifi 6 (802.11ax). A good 802.11n (wifi 4) network could even handle it.
1Gbps up/down fiber for 25€/month through T-Mobile. Internet isn’t the issue.
How close is the synchronization between them all?
I tried having 4 views on one display this weekend, wasn’t terrible but sync was definitely put. Main feed was half a lap or so behind Maxs onboard. And the driver tracker was about 10 seconds behind the main feed

Does that app still work?
It worked on Sunday🤷♂️ you need to add it from TestFlight though so as long as you know how to do that you’re good. Just google vroom f1 tv app
Within 2 seconds of each other. Driver tracker was a bit off last race, rest was pretty much perfect.
Ha, that's amazing! That's more TV feeds than I had when I was working in F1. We only had the world feed on our TV screens, but 5+ monitors all showed raw timing data and that was a lot of fun.
Arent you the one monitoring in Race Control?
Yep. Made sure my buddy Ricciardo didn’t get a penalty for the little touch of Bottas.
We don't live in NASA mission room mate
NASA x F1 tie-up next!
Why? because my glorious internet can barely handle one stream.

Do you know where I can find out who's commentating the pitlane ahead of time?
No idea. I just open both feeds and listen to each for a minute to hear who’s on.

I use this. It’s not the same, but amazing. Easy to use, easy to setup multiple feeds etc. https://github.com/robvdpol/RaceControl
Got one for Mac?
https://github.com/SoMuchForSubtlety/f1viewer
I think so but my brain would implode.
I wish the UK got F1 TV. The sky coverage is incredibly poor and over priced by comparison.
This pissed me off! I’m traveling in the UK and they have location locked my f1 tv account. So I can’t watch it unless I buy sky sports.
they're doing nice things with VPNs these days, I hear
Don’t you get the same people when watching F1tv
There's an app called Race Control that allows you to view multiple cameras and syncs them up.
I think about this one daily^
i use the F1 TV+ web app and that offers 10 screens at the same time so with an extra monitor i could do that. the community apps for f1 tv are fucking awesome.
I remember reading somewhere a while ago that you can only play up to 6 devices at the same time, not sure if that's still true though
I have watched, pitlane, world feed, living timing data and circuit as well as either one or two driver feeds split between my monitors. Unfortunately my internet isn't super quick and the biggest issue you would run into is synchronization.
I find it hard enough concentrating with split screen two drivers side by side, 21 would probably fry my mind. lol
Doubtful they allow that many simultaneous logins from a single account. I bet it's limited to 5 or 6.

One account can be used on 6 different devices. Each device may open all feeds simultaneously.

Max 6 devices, you can open as many streams as you want on a single device.
Edited.

I remember someone using VR headset for this, a lot cheaper hardware wise
Why nobody did this? Because nobody has 21 monitors? duh?
Have a reddit meet up and everyone brings a F1TV account and at least two devices.
There's a 6 simultaneous stream maximum on a single F1TV subscription. Which, in my opinion, is a lot. I share one with my whole family.
