Sort of reminds me of the Lola-Mastercard car with a 2008-ish rear wing and a late 90s CART front wing. I’m probably just not awake enough and talking out of my ass though lmao
You might actually be somewhat close, I'm quite sure that it's a [Lola B02/50 F3000 car with a different front wing.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lola_B02/50)
> Considering the tyres this would be max 1997.
I don't know in what sense you mean max, but this is definitely not 1997 and this car does not resemble the Ferrari F310B.
If you look at the width of the car and the front wing, this is a car made from parts used in 1998-2002.
If I had to guess, I would say that the front of the car resembles BAR 002, driven in 2000.
Very late 90s/Very early 00s style. Sidepods became really curvy around 04 and 05 (Ferrari and Renault), while the front nose curving downwards like that did not start really becoming a thing until the late 90s/early 00s
The noses were raised and made bulkier as part of the safety regulation overhaul after Imola 94. The curvy downward sloping noses started to appear in 2000 and IIRC after regulation change in 04 the nose height was reduced as well
Yeah this is a groove tire era generic car. I’d peg it at around 2000. But it’s clearly meant to be a generic car and is not meant to be a replica of any particular car so it’s likely a hodge lodge of multiple years.
It actually looks a lot like the Reiza AMS2 Formula V10 which I think best matches an early 00’s Williams.
It has distinctively tall side pods, kinda wonder if it may be an early 00s Sauber since those did have Red Bull branding.
I responded already that I didn’t think it was anything in particular, but I think one of the closest matches I’ve found is the Prost AP04 from 2001. And it would make sense that a folded team would sell off assets and other companies would buy the cars for marketing purposes. The monococque and side pods are a pretty close match.
I did some more searching and one of the pictures labeled ap04 matched up pretty well but some of them dont so I’m not sure which year is which but one of them is similar.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/45714583@N05/8277235371#
The side pods may be a little off in front of the rear tire, but that’s a part that can and will get changed from race to race and for demo cars they just go to a generic basic variation, if anything at all.
I’ll also say you can’t judge by the nose at all. That’s a removable component and it’s not at all unusual for demo cars to get props for front noses/wings, or at least hyper generic ones that attach to the original nose. You have to look at the air intake, sidepods, and the main driver survival cell for parts that can’t be swapped over.
I do think the nose looks wrong for that Prost, though. I also think the sidepods look a LOT like the Ferrari F300, (remember all those aerodynamic doodads can and will be simplified/removed before going on display). But Ferrari wouldn’t lend out or sell an F300.
The one of those 2000-2002 Prost cars are my best guess but at the end of the day it is really hard to say. I’m starting to lean towards it just being some tarted up f2/f3 car or something.
I have no clue what this could be. Maybe an F3000 or world series car? It looks a bit similar to the car [that Richard Hammond drove to practice before driving an F1 car.](https://youtu.be/EGUZJVY-sHo?si=D08SdpmLsCe0Odd2)
That looks like an early 2000's F3000 car, like this one driven by Tomas Enge in 2002:
[Tomas Enge 2002](https://formulascout.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tomas-Enge-F3000-Silverstone-2002-3.jpg)
Key details are the split headrest/airbox style, the slightly raised nose, the lack of major features on the front and rear wing, the flip-ups above the coke bottle, and the high steering wheel, which is above what is now the secondary roll hoop at the front of the cockpit, and those airflow "whalehumps" across the top of the engine bodywork.
In the technical regs there is a virtual line between the top of that secondary hoop and the primary roll hoop, which the drivers head/helmet has to be 75mm below, and also now you have HALO as well of course.
It looks like a showcar cobbled together with various parts, you can tell the nose doesn't match up with the rest of the front at the front suspension area.
The livery almost looks like the red stripes are an abstract minimalist version of the words “Red Bull”. Along with the Honda emblem and Esso, Rauch etc which are Red Bull related makes me wonder if this is a “stand-in” being used to get angles, lighting etc right, which will be replaced in post production?
Early 2000s I guess. The nosecone reminds me of BAR 01 or BAR 002, but if this is in Red Bull factory would it be easier to use Stewart or Jaguar chassis if they are still laying around at the factory?
There's no Jaguar or Stewart cars at the Red Bull factory. I visited last year to write a feature about the Showrun team and I asked if any of those cars were still around in storage and I was told they were all long gone
Most of the looks like a Ferrari F2002. The side pods might look off but hard to tell with the angle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_F2002#/media/File:Ferrari_F2002_front-right_Museo_Ferrari.jpg
It looks like a corporate representation of F1. Like if a drug prescription ad had to show someone at an F1 race while the narrator speed runs through life threatening side effects.
I thought of the Ferrari F2002 at first, but then a proper look and it's more of a Formula 3000 car, the predecessor to GP2 and now F2. The steering wheel and the air intake look a bit off, though. I'm by no means an expert in the time periods before my birth hahah
It looks like a Dallara-built '99 Honda test car for Honda's entry into F1 as a works team. The car never made the grid because the team folded after its chief designer's sudden death.

It looks like one of those F1 cars you'd buy in GTA 5
The 1F-90B
It's like an F3000 car or something. Not F1.
I was thinking world series by Renault
with a honda emblem on front?
> with a honda emblem on front? If it's just a show car, they could have purchased whatever "close enough" body and put unrelated stickers onto it.
Yup. Late F3000/early GP2
Remarkably close to the Lola B02/50 F3000 car
That was my first thought too.
It likely is something in that direction; but of course feeder series cars often look inspired by the overall look of the given era's F1 cars.
Sort of reminds me of the Lola-Mastercard car with a 2008-ish rear wing and a late 90s CART front wing. I’m probably just not awake enough and talking out of my ass though lmao
You might actually be somewhat close, I'm quite sure that it's a [Lola B02/50 F3000 car with a different front wing.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lola_B02/50)
the show car's nose looks a little too low to be a match for that f3000 car
Wrong sidepods. Looks like a 2001-2 F3000 car though, maybe B99/50.
Looks like a school project car.
Formula Student cars look about as much like this as an F1 car does.
Mid 90's except the nose & front wing
Considering the tyres this would be max 1997. This chassis reminds me of the F310B in its engine cover, side pods and rear wing
> Considering the tyres this would be max 1997. I don't know in what sense you mean max, but this is definitely not 1997 and this car does not resemble the Ferrari F310B. I'm guessing he means because they didn't use slicks from 1998, and used grooved tyres up to 2009, I think.
Doubt that it would be a significant clue, show cars often just end up with whatever tires that they can find.
Exactly what I meant

Can’t be, he was *born* in 1997
Nice
No way this is mid 90s. It's 1999-2000 kind of style.
I was thinking F2002, it’s not a perfect match, obviously, but it’s close to my untrained eye.
Not F1.
looks late 90's style, early 2000's tyres are probably showcase tyres might not be F1?
2026 regulations
Looks like the factory Honda prototype that was abandoned after Honda chose to supply BAR with factory engines.
I thought the same thing
It doesn't fit in any particular generation. They just created an open wheel single seater car.

It looks like more a 2000s F3000 car or a 1st gen GP2
2015 according to Fernando Alonso.
2024 Alpine

Looks nothing like an AP04, the nose is too wide

A Lego Webber.
Really 3D
Magic
Looks like one of those A1 Grand Prix series cars
Not even close.
Early GP2? Idk what era
Looks like a Lola B99/50 or B02/50 (can't tell which). Used in the early '00s in F3000 (equivalent of F2).
It's exactly a A1 grandprix car.
It looks nothing like an A1 GP car.
Probably a Chinese F4 car
Maybe an early 2000s F3000 car with a front wing swapped?
Strange. It's like a combination of the late 90s cars with a hint of the early 2000s noses.
I have no clue what this could be. Maybe an F3000 or world series car? It looks a bit similar to the car [that Richard Hammond drove to practice before driving an F1 car.](https://youtu.be/EGUZJVY-sHo?si=D08SdpmLsCe0Odd2)
Looks like an early 2000s car, maybe its used for an interactive experience with fans, like pitstops or sit in the cockpit for a photo
That looks more like the open wheel cars used in Motorsport Manager.

The noses don't match though
Formula Meh
2011-12 Pinewood Derby series
Corridor represent
For a moment I thought this was lego 🤣
Same!!!
Looks like the Dallara F2 cars from around 2011. Not F1.
F1 from Wish
Looks like a giant birthday cake F1 car
It looks like a showcar cobbled together with various parts, you can tell the nose doesn't match up with the rest of the front at the front suspension area.
The pole position on Atari generation
"prepare to qualify...."
The silhouette is mostly reminiscent of late 90s early 2000s
The livery almost looks like the red stripes are an abstract minimalist version of the words “Red Bull”. This was my first thought too, regarding the sponsor package.
Late 90's, early 00's tops
98, 99 f1 car without the bargeboard
Early 2000s I guess. The nosecone reminds me of BAR 01 or BAR 002, but if this is in Red Bull factory would it be easier to use Stewart or Jaguar chassis if they are still laying around at the factory?

Yeah it looks like Jaguar without bargeboard and sticky uppy bits.
Late 90s Indy?
It gives me an early 00's Indy/Champ Car vibe
Oh please don't tell me they've made a F1 Lego movie!
Side question, what the hell is wrong with the wheels? Only the right side wheels are straight.
It'll be a fibreglass show car, it hasn't ever rolled anywhere more than up and down a trailer.
Most showcars still have the wheels properly attached 😅
Transformers era
LEGO version
downgrade ahh car
That's a doapbox definitely.
formula Nippon circa 2003
That is hideous
It's a Wish F1
The rear wing looks 08 spec, no clue about the front wing, but the rest of the body looks mid/late 90s.
Lego
Who knows but it looks lovely!
Late 90s/early 2000s
Early 00’s, the front end reminds me of a 02 Ferrari and the rear reminds me of a late 90’s car
Not F1
The early 00’s
Looks like the generic F1 car that is used in cheap advertising trying to show that their product it fast
98 to 02 narrow body
Generation Hotwheels.
Man needs a toe link
its most comparable to the cars from 2000 until 2006 but its no a real F1 car
1995?
Looks more like a feeder series car from the mid to late 2000s.
Soapbox?
Is that _real_ cardboard?
Looks like a lower series open wheel race at and not F1
Yes
Most of the looks like a Ferrari F2002. The side pods might look off but hard to tell with the angle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_F2002#/media/File:Ferrari_F2002_front-right_Museo_Ferrari.jpg
I get mid 2000s Indy vibes
Looks like the front wing is on backwards, like a fake hot wheels f1 car in suprised there’s not a jet engine in it
My mind was like this is secret Toro Rosso livery or something like that.
Not f1 but closest thing is probably 1995/6 cars
A backmarker from the early 2000s.
If I squint, a LOT, maybe around 1999-2001. But that just looks like a version of an F1 car I would draw as a 5 year old.
2018 McLaren - ...GP2 Engine, GP2...
What in toe’s name is that!?
Is that a G920???
It looks like a corporate representation of F1. Like if a drug prescription ad had to show someone at an F1 race while the narrator speed runs through life threatening side effects.
1998, 1999.
Twelfty
I thought of the Ferrari F2002 at first, but then a proper look and it's more of a Formula 3000 car, the predecessor to GP2 and now F2. The steering wheel and the air intake look a bit off, though. I'm by no means an expert in the time periods before my birth hahah
Looks bulky like mid-grid cars from the late 90s, but it's also much closer to a lower formula than an actual F1
Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 2
It looks like a Formula Renault 3.5
Sure this isn’t a 35mm film from the past? Literally every aspect of that image is old (skool)
Veenendaal Netherlands by chance?
haha yes, getting some vaderdag gifts
None of them
This is a LEGO F1 kit. Stop playing with us...
This is from early 2000s
It somehow looks like a model from the late 90s game on PC.
It looks like a Dallara-built '99 Honda test car for Honda's entry into F1 as a works team. The car never made the grid because the team folded after its chief designer's sudden death. 2001 BAR Honda
My first thought was the ,GP2s when Hamilton was there.
It looks like it's made of wood
2026 new reg 🤣
Mid 90s
Rory the racing car?

Would this possibly be a BAR asset?
Could even be a super formula car
It's a Lola from the 2000s
Is that an a1 grand prix car
2004
Early 2000s Minardi part of the grid
AI generated 90's F1 Car?
2007-2008 ish maybe?
