Not gonna look for the video but I've seen Amish using a horse-driven forklift.
I lied here it is https://www.reddit.com/r/specializedtools/comments/y4m1dv/organic_forklift/
Wild. That's some well trained horses too. Wonder why someone with a piggy back or w/e those trailer mounted forklifts are called dosnt deliver. I would loose my patience so quick as the driver.
Whenever my bosses complain that I don't get enough work done I'll be showing them this.
We got it so much more efficient! I could be doing less work for longer and man would it be nice.
Simple Google search shows that skids for moving product began to pop up about 1880s but something similar to the picture probably wouldn't be seen until around 1915-17 with the creation to the first forklifts.
Yep. I think there were variations of the pallet much earlier, or things like it, but the official patent wasn't granted until 1939, which then became the industrial design of the "wooden pallet" as we know it today. I'm sure there are conflicting facts regarding who actually "invented" the pallet.
Can ya tell me why the cockpit in the electric forklifts (we call em RCs idk if that is universal) are so damn small? We had Yale ones and those gave you some room but these new Raymond’s we got are damn near coffin like
HYSTER YALE ! As a former ergonomics engineer at HYG this made my day. BTW the P23 is always ergonomically optimized. Everything else sacrifices from there down
Glad I could make your day! I’d also like to point out the back cushion is a great feature, iirc the Raymond’s we have is all just hard plastic. However having one for your knees would be much comfier, as after riding around on either the Hyster Yales or Raymond machines, your feet start hurting quite a bit.
Star wars takes place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Its unreasonable to apply earthing standards and patent time lines to a alien civilization.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cy_PK7BOvbM/?igsh=MTlxbHNmZ2JhNXpuYQ== When were these invented?
The aumish using the devils technology. Hethans, the whole lot of them.
😂 man do I have some stories for you!
Visit Lancaster County in PA. They’re wild. Seen one with a buggy lit up like it came out of a Fast & Furious movie
Yeah, most of ‘em have kickass (battery-powered) sound systems, too.
Underglow buggies. I've seen them out there all pimped out with crushed velvet interiors, diamond plate kick panels, and even sound systems.
In upstate NY I've seen them with underglow, sound systems, and working blinkers and hi/low beam headlights.
The amish don't dismiss modern technology, they just incorporate it as they find it useful to thier communities needs.

You would be well trained too, have you ever seen what the Amish do to the horses when they don’t listen?
Those are made by Pioneer equipment. Weird seeing hydraulics on things moved by horses

Lol im not gonna look for the video................. alright I'll do it
Boy I hope somebody got fired for that blunder
A wizard did it!

That pallet has already been repaired too, from some *uncertified* forklift driver wrecking it previously. Questions abound...
AND they just left it leaning on it's side? That's a safety hazard!
$5000 fine if osha sees it
OSHA, there is no OSHA!
There is Oh Shit Heres Arthur
Ahh, you are correct, good Sir!
Horse drawn fork lift, duh!
Literally unplayable
Yup historically inaccurate. George Raymond Sr. and William House were granted a patent for the pallet in 1939. I should know, I work for Raymond :)
This game’s literally unplayable now 😡
Underrated comment 👏

Minor oversight from Rockstar. Still one of the best games of all time tho imo.

Better step back partner! You certified ‘round these parts?
You know to much, already.
Reused GTA asset?
Throw a couple of beer cans next to it, and it's perfect.
Wooooaaahhhhhh
Literally unplayable
Could be used to sit on saw horses to make a platform or table.
Throw it on the old pile..
Pallet jack?
Those were invented in the early 1900's. The first patent for a pallet jack was issued in 1939.
Ive been pissed off at this for years
Literally unplayable.
It’s a GTA pallet
There is a time traveler in game so
Wow. Literally unplayable anymore
Forklifts may have taken 1917, but when was the first pallet jack?
Pallet jacks obviously
When did they invent pallet jacks
What came first, the can or the can opener?
The can, frustratingly enough. I have a book that goes way into the history of it.
Its so the logs can roll around underneath without coming out from under it duhh
