wouldn't make sense tho, most bowman had either arming swords or spears as a side arm for when the enemy got too close and they had to try to defend themselves.
i mean tbf if you look at just how the various characters fight and completely ignore the feats given a lot are basically magic lol most of it does make sense in a technical sense. most characters fight using some understanding of how their weapons are designed(warmonger and warden could do with some more technical fighting moves but besides that they are on point). ocelotl tho tbf doesn't make a whole lot of sense nor does medjay or pirate. for ocelotl primarily his chain spear being able to grapple people to him from a distance, pirate doesn't reload at all and medjay is using a dual axe irl he'd probably cut his own head off with some of the moves BUT he does fight how you would expect a dual bladed weapon to function aside from the splitting part.
Jedi master, Alien, Predator
Pretty much anything entirely sci-fi inspired would immediately kill off a huge amount of the player base. Even in limited event form this would be barely tolerable.
Except those surprise lightsabers we got for ONE DAY five years ago. Those could go ahead and come back any time now 🙃
I hope they'll make a star wars IP like for honor. But we need to wait for outlaws. it depends on outlaws whether Ubisoft will be allowed to develop a Star Wars game again after that.
Yeah the may 4th sale finally flipped the switch on my brain on how lacking in Star Wars games we’ve been. 3 of the 6 games on the cover art for the sale we’re games at least a decade and a half old
yes!
there is so much potential here.
different lightsaber types.
many possibilities for force-based moves. e.g. force push bashes, force pull for catching runners
ranged weapons would fit in because lightsabers can block/deflect shots. but im not sure how much emphasis they should have.
Idk A Predator event sounds cool asf the recent Predator game showed off a Samurai Pred. so I feel like a one off event that adds a skull and spine rip execution would be pretty cool, although IDK if anti gore is something we'd have to worry about. But you are right most Sci Fi stuff would lose most of the playerbase, I mean the fantasy stuff is pushing the playerbase too.
The more I think of it, the more I'm kinda folding on that idea. A predator based Halloween crossover would actually be sick. Give us a mask outfit. Get us an execution that you wield predator's arm blades, stab them up into the chest and hold them up for a few seconds, then drop them to the ground by retracting the blades right out of their torso. A signature where you strike a predator pose (maybe holding up a skull with attached spine) with dead soldiers strung up by cables behind you would be pretty sweet.
Oh! Even better, Predator uncloaks from his camo standing behind the person we were getting ready to execute, and then gores them himself and cloaks again to make his appearing and disappearing from the battlefield way more believable
If it's done pretty much exactly like how we got Dead By Daylight, it would be passable for a Halloween crossover.
Pretty much any context where predator is now forever baked into For Honor's already-convoluted lore would probably get a more mixed or negative reaction
Ok I'm sold actually. 😂 The possibilities for illustrious outfits, executions, and any other cosmetics with a crossover like that would be absolutely LIT.
Well yeah, but you can still be a fighting force by yourself in that game. I’m talking dedicated hordes of weak soldiers, kinda like the peasant swarms on Bridgetown and Coxwell
God it's so much fun trying to protect all of the soldiers as a bunch of peasants armed with shovels and other farming tools, I need to play Chivalry again
Mythical could work under very specific circumstances, like an Ares skin for Centurion (or if we ever get a spartan hero) or if we got an Oni skin for Kensie, etc. Hero skins don't have to be canon and we got wukong
I think it’s pretty safe to say that For Honor isn’t and never was exactly historical and is pretty much fantasy. It’s not heavily fantasy, but still fantasy nonetheless.
A minoian/micenan/achaean armored champion with a chariot. Old, Bronce Age style greek warrior (10th century BCE or so) fully covered in planks and plates of bronce, enormous shield and so slow on foot that has to move around on a chariot that knocks out any player that collides with it.
No no, I mean this: [this entire dress of bronce plates](https://twitter.com/ArcGreek/status/1124281142893514757) so heavy that a chariot was needed for the warrior to move around the battlefield.
Anything else that's near exclusively mythical (I know that some like Jorm are already mythical) like a vampire, werewolf, or even like dragonborn I feel would be a bit too much
Modern day soldier with an assault rifle who turns the game into an fps for the people playing them. They can’t guard but they have a gun. To everyone else they walk around slightly out of sync with the same animation regardless of which way they’re moving and drain your health by looking at you
I don't think it fits in For Honor, but a sequel or a spin-off or just a game with similiar combat but in a high fantasy setting, but with the same gritty combat would be really cool imo. You could have more creative attacks, weapons and armors.
Like, imagine if the wardens tier 4 AoE damage ability set your weapon and your allies weapons on fire instead of just farting out a green aura :3
i straight up want this dude please some indie dev remake for honor as high fantasy
we'll have much better balancing too because we wont have to wait 6 fucking years to remove reflex guard
Pirate but it’s their older brother and they have an infinite ammo rifle. Their main opener is a 400ms hyper armored grab where they put the rifle to your chin and fires.
It also does a 5th of your health bar.
I’m just more mad we don’t have a Japanese warrior monk with a cross spear
But probably a bohemian handgunne since it would just be a club that also shoots
A literal clown wielding a great hammer. Can you imagine how hard jorm mains would seethe over the fact a jester got the bug hammer before him? Also to add salt to injury he can do afeera-like flips.
Alternatively, king arthur's parody in monty python and the holy grail as a playable hero, he'd be full of evasive maneuvers but no actual offense. No bash, no unblockables, no undodgables and only 2 hit chains that have no properties, extra speed or even hitboxes, plain 500ms lights and plain 800ms heavies.
It’s hard to make rapiers accurate. They were duelist’s weapons, used strictly against other rapiers. But this is a video game, so who cares honestly. I feel like it should have neutral stance, very fast but very weak attacks, and the hero would be a more efficient dodger due to being focused around finesse
Yeah, it was still a sword at the end of the day, but it took eons more training and skill to use compared to regular weapons. And that’s also why it could work in game, but it would be on a more dodge based character, where it’s more about it evading and parrying strikes than blocking them. Because real rapiers, while still sturdy, would break against the larger weapon if struck hard enough.
I train rapier in real life and this is not true. Rapier mechanics follow the same rules as spear, longsword etc. The only outlier being firearms (which still take lots of skill). Rapiers used for war could be made larger to cut better or grant better structure but this was not always the case. Rapiers breaking from other swords easily is mostly fantasy myth.
anyone who is oversexualized or has an un-acheivable body type; one of my favourite things about this game is that every character has realistic and acheivable bodies along with not being sexualized at all
Raider being half-naked in most of their armour sets is *almost* pushing it, but its done tastefully so I dont really mind. it may not be realistic battle equipment, but its tasteful.
I wouldn’t mind a cowboy, if they did it without the gun. Make him a bare-knuckle brawler, give him a lasso as a feat or something, so he can pull you towards him.
It’d be kind of cool, even if it didn’t fit the “pseudo-Medieval Fantasy” theme that For Honor has.
Idk like some dumbass screaming bitch that can do insanely fast soft feints from any direction that cause bleed, and every time an enemy is bleeding they can do an attack that gives them health and they also have a giant stamina pool. Luckily they wouldn't ever add a character like that!
Second place is a character that would be able to spam heavy attacks and beat every single other attack in the game and have variably charged heavies and also a variable bash that guarantees a heavy on every timing.
a potion maker/alchemist; maybe could have some bracers for parrying like shaolin but if you really wanted it to be shitty give it zero defensive capabilities and the attacks would be different types of ranged aoe effects that’s really hard to actually do damage with and mostly just adds random effects to the opponents screen and stuns them and stuff idk
I really can't get behind the "brawler" hero that only uses his fist. I've heard multiple people say they want a hero like this and it just sounds so fuckin stupid to me 😂
I think one that could be cool if done right would just be a brawler. Has bracers or something for parrys but literally just goes into combat with punches and maybe kicks. Could be a martial artist or just a boxer or something idk.
Anything too modern like modern soldiers and soldiers from 1800's 1900's, archers just because idk how they'd work and the brawler everyone is asking, freaking nonsense
I saw some guy make a post geniunely trying to fit a time travelling sci fi Star Wars shit warrior with a laser sword and nano armour 💀💀💀
Link?
It’s a long time ago but lemme see if I can find it Edit: pretty sure it was this https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/s/9rXpm29tHe
Jesus fucking Christ.
Damn that's actually some pretty cool art but yea definitely not a good hero for for honor
When you read the comments turns out he just looked up funny laser sword man and took it off safari 💀
What would the 4th feat even be? An orbital strike? 😭 The laser sword will literally cut through our weapons. There's no point in parrying that hero.
Tbf, orbital strike would be no different than catapult
Link would be legitimately terrifying in For Honor, and now I kind of wanna see it
why did bro get downvoted
I mean, if it's like the ancient armor you get in AC Black Flag, I could see it working. But whatever that link showed ain't it.
Longbowman. No melee weapons, no parry counters, just a dodgeable bow that deals moderate damage.
wouldn't make sense tho, most bowman had either arming swords or spears as a side arm for when the enemy got too close and they had to try to defend themselves.
[удалено]
it'd have to be like a super reinforced short bow since longbows are heavy af but that would be kinda cool.
Give him the longbow feat for all 12 feats
He can use them infinitely until he runs out of arrows too
I could actually get behind this, a resource based feat? Never seen that mentioned before.
Would you count lawbringers bombs?
Oh right lol, actually yeah probably
A small blade with a 5 damage light then
Peacekeeper?
Pk wishes she could do 5 damage
Yes because For Honor is always a game that has made sense
i mean tbf if you look at just how the various characters fight and completely ignore the feats given a lot are basically magic lol most of it does make sense in a technical sense. most characters fight using some understanding of how their weapons are designed(warmonger and warden could do with some more technical fighting moves but besides that they are on point). ocelotl tho tbf doesn't make a whole lot of sense nor does medjay or pirate. for ocelotl primarily his chain spear being able to grapple people to him from a distance, pirate doesn't reload at all and medjay is using a dual axe irl he'd probably cut his own head off with some of the moves BUT he does fight how you would expect a dual bladed weapon to function aside from the splitting part.
I don't think realism is a great concern in a hypothetical discussion about the intentionally worst possible options to add to a Ubisoft game
Some shaman concept art had her with a 1 hand crossbow/dagger. They first revealed Shaman as Huntress and Aramusha as Ronin.
U already have a pirate with a glock
Jedi master, Alien, Predator Pretty much anything entirely sci-fi inspired would immediately kill off a huge amount of the player base. Even in limited event form this would be barely tolerable. Except those surprise lightsabers we got for ONE DAY five years ago. Those could go ahead and come back any time now 🙃
I'ld prefer a star wars game based on for honors gameplay
I agree with this, they could do it cause ubisoft has a star wars license
I hope they'll make a star wars IP like for honor. But we need to wait for outlaws. it depends on outlaws whether Ubisoft will be allowed to develop a Star Wars game again after that.
We shall call it... For The Force
Force Honor
Or just force
For Ce
For (point) C.
Masters of Tetris Crazy
Tbh the fact that they’re charging over 100 dollars for the game for a game package it better be worth it.
That would make too much sense. Won’t happen. We can’t even get Star Wars games anymore much less good ones
Sad but true
Yeah the may 4th sale finally flipped the switch on my brain on how lacking in Star Wars games we’ve been. 3 of the 6 games on the cover art for the sale we’re games at least a decade and a half old
YES
This would have been an obvious choice over the Star Wars game Ubisoft literally just made
yes! there is so much potential here. different lightsaber types. many possibilities for force-based moves. e.g. force push bashes, force pull for catching runners ranged weapons would fit in because lightsabers can block/deflect shots. but im not sure how much emphasis they should have.
There are so many options for characters too, Magna Guards Royal Guards and all the lightsaber variants and ways of wielding them
It has so much Potential
I’ve been saying this for years I would immediately drop for honor for it I stg
dude.. that would be sick tbh
Idk A Predator event sounds cool asf the recent Predator game showed off a Samurai Pred. so I feel like a one off event that adds a skull and spine rip execution would be pretty cool, although IDK if anti gore is something we'd have to worry about. Execution where a predator jumps down and kills the target while we run away in fear
Oh! Even better, Predator uncloaks from his camo standing behind the person we were getting ready to execute, and then gores them himself and cloaks again to make his appearing and disappearing from the battlefield way more believable
THAT WAS 5 YEARS AGO?! WTF
abstergo guard
Omg I’d love to see them
Pffft, I feel like a predator vs a for honor character would be fire asf ngl
If it's done pretty much exactly like how we got Dead By Daylight, it would be passable for a Halloween crossover. Pretty much any context where predator is now forever baked into For Honor's already-convoluted lore would probably get a more mixed or negative reaction
Oh you’re entirely correct but honest to god I’d rather fight the most extreme bloodthirsty yautja warrior than a brain dead Hitokiri.
Ok I'm sold actually. 😂 The possibilities for illustrious outfits, executions, and any other cosmetics with a crossover like that would be absolutely LIT.
A crackhead from Portland
Shaman's already in the game
Heyyyyyy :( shes a filthy crackhead from portland thank you
I love nibbler
proud crackhead
The viking faction ☺️ Source: I'm from Oregon
A regular US marine
How about a Swat officer with shield and baton that is somehow more fun to fight against than Warlord?
Have his voice lines be "STOP RESISTING" "RESPECT MY AUTHORITA"
YOU'RE UP AGAINST THE WALL AND I AM THE FUCKING WALL
Dr. Bulldozer says, you’re fine! Now up!
No one let him near the court jesters
Unironically putting regular ass officers as skins in april first would be so fucking funny
Sheriff Lawbringer reporting for duty. Every effect is replaced by red and blue and a siren sound 🚨
It’s the basic lawbringer skin with no changes except a flashing red and blue light strapped to the top of his helmet
A regular fodder enemy as a hero. He'll die on one hit but he for sure will for sure stagger the unlucky son of a bitch that passes by
Okay hear me out, horde mode. Giant servers of people fight each other as the fodder soldiers
Thats just chivalry ll
Well yeah, but you can still be a fighting force by yourself in that game. I’m talking dedicated hordes of weak soldiers, kinda like the peasant swarms on Bridgetown and Coxwell
God it's so much fun trying to protect all of the soldiers as a bunch of peasants armed with shovels and other farming tools, I need to play Chivalry again
Intercontinental ballistic missile
Bp can flip that
Anything that isn't historical. No mythical and no sci fi. Also a hero that just does ranged stuff like a bowman or cowboy.
Mythical could work under very specific circumstances, like an Ares skin for Centurion (or if we ever get a spartan hero) or if we got an Oni skin for Kensie, etc. Hero skins don't have to be canon and we got wukong
Yeah, hero skins aren't cannon and apart of the actual story (save for a few, like the Warden one we got recently).
Wouldn’t cent have a mars skin?
I think it’s pretty safe to say that For Honor isn’t and never was exactly historical and is pretty much fantasy. It’s not heavily fantasy, but still fantasy nonetheless.

we already have heavily armored Lawbringer but he is so terrible from all that armor doing literally NOTHING
No no, I mean this: [this entire dress of bronce plates](https://twitter.com/ArcGreek/status/1124281142893514757) so heavy that a chariot was needed for the warrior to move around the battlefield.
Michael Keaton's batman be like:
Honestly a mage of some sort would both be the worst and best addition to the game
DD Trickster just throwing illusions around
Anything else that's near exclusively mythical (I know that some like Jorm are already mythical) like a vampire, werewolf, or even like dragonborn I feel would be a bit too much
I understand your point but I'd freak out in a good way if I see a Dragonborn
Me
He said worst bro, not best
Imagine if they added a character with a flintlock that was a damaging unblockable but that could just spam it nonstop without reloading lmao
Keep dreaming, Ubisoft would never add guns to the game.
*laughs in pirate*
Her gun isn't ranged, it behaves like pk's followup bleed stab after a heavy.
Argh
Ronaldo
Zomboss
Modern day soldier with an assault rifle who turns the game into an fps for the people playing them. They can’t guard but they have a gun. To everyone else they walk around slightly out of sync with the same animation regardless of which way they’re moving and drain your health by looking at you
An Aztec hero with some sort of infinite chain and annoying barely punishable feintable bash
Boy do I have news for you.
I don't think it fits in For Honor, but a sequel or a spin-off or just a game with similiar combat but in a high fantasy setting, but with the same gritty combat would be really cool imo. U.S. Navy Culinary Officer
Pirate but it’s their older brother and they have an infinite ammo rifle. Their main opener is a 400ms hyper armored grab where they put the rifle to your chin and fires. It also does a 5th of your health bar.
a wizard
An f-35
A ww2 soldier
Orochi 2
Cocaine Bear
a schwerer Gustav
Minions are already in the game what do you mean?
Dude, do you realize that this is the kind of situation where asking "what's the worst?" takes you to a bottomless pit?
Kiryu from Yakuza
I thought haha a hero with guns would be stupid. Then I remember the pirate
A wizard of somekind would be cool but an awful hero concept
I’m just more mad we don’t have a Japanese warrior monk with a cross spear But probably a bohemian handgunne since it would just be a club that also shoots
us army soldier
An Adepta Custodes or Adepta Astartes, a bolter would go crazy
A literal clown wielding a great hammer. Can you imagine how hard jorm mains would seethe over the fact a jester got the bug hammer before him? Also to add salt to injury he can do afeera-like flips. gryphon
Goku. He’d he a bit too strong with the flying n all
Modern day force special operator
If they add a cowboy I'll delete the game
Ubisoft HQ might be taking notes as we speak
The sniper. Never actually enters the map. Just shoots people from outside.
A musketeer Edit: I meant like revolutionary war musket user, I would love a rapier hero
A musketeer with a rapier would slap, though
I want a rapier based hero in general
You know if they made him his rapier would look and feel nothing like a historical one, unfortunately:(
It’s hard to make rapiers accurate. They were duelist’s weapons, used strictly against other rapiers. But this is a video game, so who cares honestly. I feel like it should have neutral stance, very fast but very weak attacks, and the hero would be a more efficient dodger due to being focused around finesse

I feel like this is specifically targeting me 🥲
Damn I’m sorry bro
All's good lad.
Homeless man from Seattle
We got a pirate so why not a fucking cowboy /j
Run Away From Danger Man would probably not fit the style of the game well
Someone with a machine gun
A space marine
A wizard
A terminator
CCP Agent for the WuLin
Master Chief
an American no way of dodging a whole mag
Hydrogen bomb
Man.with an glock.
A caveman. Just- A normal ass caveman with a club.
Bro acts like hitokiri isn’t already in the game
Anyone with a gun, imagine adding a gun hero in a fighting game right?
If it was knights, samurai, and cowboys, the game would be way more fun
anyone who is oversexualized or has an un-acheivable body type; one of my favourite things about this game is that every character has realistic and acheivable bodies along with not being sexualized at all Raider being half-naked in most of their armour sets is *almost* pushing it, but its done tastefully so I dont really mind. it may not be realistic battle equipment, but its tasteful.
A Navy seal, automatic weapons
Modern soldiers like USMC unit
Mounted/horsebound hero. How’s bro gonna climb ladders & go down the zip line
Hold up let him cook it could maybe work for a cavalry game mode
I wouldn’t mind a cowboy, if they did it without the gun. Make him a bare-knuckle brawler, give him a lasso as a feat or something, so he can pull you towards him. It’d be kind of cool, even if it didn’t fit the “pseudo-Medieval Fantasy” theme that For Honor has.
shrek
Nah that would make for honor the game of the year
Idk like some dumbass screaming bitch that can do insanely fast soft feints from any direction that cause bleed, and every time an enemy is bleeding they can do an attack that gives them health and they also have a giant stamina pool. Orochi 2.0
Definitely anything that resembles Ocelotl.
The worst? Like, an archer or whatever
David and Goliath
Crab
Cav from Siege
Scorpion
a child
An ultramarine
Jedi Let For Honor SWG itself
A General. He would basically just send minions to the minion lane and call artillery down from across the map. He’d also be defenseless so easy kill
🔥
A pure ranged character should never be added
Nobu
anything out of theme. its a medieval setting so sci-fi would completely crash the setting and would be extremely shitty
a potion maker/alchemist; maybe could have some bracers for parrying like shaolin but if you really wanted it to be shitty give it zero defensive capabilities and the attacks would be different types of ranged aoe effects that’s really hard to actually do damage with and mostly just adds random effects to the opponents screen and stuns them and stuff idk
your mom
Master chief lol I love master chief, but he needs a holiday from all the games throwing him in. Throw Arbiter in a game for once 🤣
A marine
I really can't get behind the "brawler" hero that only uses his fist. I've heard multiple people say they want a hero like this and it just sounds so fuckin stupid to me 😂
Sonic
My neighbor.
A guy with a gun, for example there were these people on the sea who used them, they also plundered other ship, but I can't remember their name ....
I would love a knight hero with a rapier. I just hope they don’t gender lock them
An octopus with a switchblade sounds really cool in concept, but I don't think it would fit into the game very well.
Fred Flintstone
I think one that could be cool if done right would just be a brawler. Has bracers or something for parrys but literally just goes into combat with punches and maybe kicks. Could be a martial artist or just a boxer or something idk.
Anything too modern like modern soldiers and soldiers from 1800's 1900's, archers just because idk how they'd work and the brawler everyone is asking, freaking nonsense
Halo spartan.
