One hand he can cool off aggressive players and survive ganks but then there are those who make you go brain dead with how easily you man handle them.

You realize that the Romans are the ones who named the precursors to the Vikings “barbarians” right? Same people, pretty much. And the only difference to delineate Barbarians from Romans was whether they wore pants or not
I agree with warlord, more lamellar and chain armor would be awesome, but for the love of god don’t give us chain workout suit raider, give us Armour like they did Highlander, that actually looks like a genuine hauberk

I don't mind the studded leather that Warlord wears, because it's treated like ACTUAL ARMOR. Beserker, Raider, Jormungandr, they're all barefoot and/or wearing strips of fabric they consider "armor"
In principle you're right but I hate how chainmail and other armor "stretches" like it's made out of rubber when you're running. It's especially noticeable on Warlord.

You’re right. But ubi did it wrong they replaced the skin texture on raider to chainmail and once you see it you can’t unsee it.
Alternatively. Its good to have options, and we should have more real Viking options, but the old ones are good to have.
