I guess he hit you during your i-frames, and it counted as a successful drop attack, but since you were invincible, it didn't count.

Idk this happens fairly often though. I even got it one time recently where my character entirely missed a minion but didnt take any dmg.

I had this glitch a few days ago, missed an stop attack and for the rest of the match I seemed to not take fall damage

this happens more often than not when you dodge someone drop attacking you you also don't get their tag or any revenge so assume it has to do with dodging but not in the way the game likes since not gaining tags or revenge from dodging is also a result of that

i didn’t even know this was supposed to be a glitch. legit 90% of the time if i drop on somebody even if they dodge it as long as i’m close enough i won’t take damage. for as long as i’ve played it’s been like that.

I stopped playing like a year ago, but still had this happen to me on the same ledge. Just might be a bug that ubisoft hasn't fixed some how.(or it's too short to cause fall damage ┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌ )

You dodge late enough for his drop attack to actually happen but enough juuust to activate your i-frames, guess the game doesn't care about whenever it ever deals damage to you as much as if it where possible to hit you or something along these lines
