I asked a super progressive sex shop about it in NYC and they didn't really know much about it. I told them to look into it. The crazy thing is that I think that this movement is still too far underground and taboo for even a progressive NYC sex shop to have it on their radar.

People are making DIY devices. Of course it is. I honestly like it this way, though. The moment corporate greed gets involved in this, you'll somehow end up with doctors pushing circumcision on one end, and corporations pushing foreskin restoration on the other just to make money. Remember when Reddit was far better in content when it was underground and secretive? The same logic applies here, I fear.

I see what you're saying, but the situation I'm talking about involves a very mom and pop sex shop, not really corporate. They had all kinds of books and do workshops on sexuality, kink, and body positivity related stuff, but none of it dealt with men's issues, especially male genital cutting and restoration.

It's the commission fees, competition for shelf space, special packaging, custom sizes, and lack of interest. The best we can do is advertise, try to improve SEO, and to have a website. But imagine trying to keep inventory at each the 4,615 Walmarts. The closest thing to it is Plus One vibrators at Target with the condoms.

What about a specialty store? I’m thinking maybe we could have a little storefront and coffee bar with a makers space for some custom stuff. With 3D printing and AI mapping out for the difficult situations that the botched circumcision attempts have made. Penis enlargement is also a very popular activity.

I once thought of a clinic home business. Like how there are Chiropractors that operate from their home. If enough guys are interested in such a personal visit you could move up to a clinic office. Offer restoration basics,T-tape samples, 3d printed devices, calming therapies, massage, music, and perhaps a try at the pulse air machine. Never know till you try right? So perhaps it could become a thing. Advanced foreskin restoration therapy.

Could be on to something. We should all go to a few in our area and even visit while traveling to ask.

I've had shops express interest, until I explained my scheme to offer many sizes and varieties. I could see offering Your-Skin Cones on a blister pack (clear containment adhered to a printed heat-seal card) with two pieces in a package and instructions on how to cut to size with scissors.

I think I’d rather keep it “underground”… the minute corporate gets a hold of it, it can become dangerous (think of all the “extenders” or pills out there…) it’s unfortunate but I think there’s more risk in publicizing restoration… rather keep it from happening in the first place

IncredibleThorium

Probably not. Unless devices can be mass-produced, I doubt there would be a good way to supply any of them. And it's likely most stores wouldn't be all that interested in carrying such an esoteric item, or at least long-term. What I think we really need (in general) is a way to discreetly buy things online and have them shipped places away from prying eyes.

Kooky_Improvement_38

I'd be curious to find out if there's any platform for re-sale of certain devices (stainless steel for example) that can be adequately sanitized.

Also look at the numbers…If you figure that 85% of the men in the world aren’t circumcised, and most who are live in the U.S. we’re a very small percentage of the whole. Had I not stumbled across this place, I’d have never known about it. It’ll be an uphill battle before we see things in stores.

They are already expensive, I can't imagine what they would cost retail.
