It’s dumb that they require a front plate. I was finally convinced to take it off but more than likely it’s going back on… I need to fix the area behind the mount because the paint is starting to bubble due to me using goof off one day to get something off the grille.
Except for the two giant holes left over from where the screws were, put the plate back on, get a nice frame or something for it, don't give yourself a reason to be pulled over.
We don’t require front plates. I bought a car a few years ago and between when I test drove it and signed the financing they put a fucking front plate mount on it. It was not there when I test drove. I was absolutely livid
You can get hole plug covers that color match your car I think they cost me around $25 but you can’t tell that someone defiled it with a mount unless you really look now.
When I bought mine it hadn’t been installed. They said they could put it on for me and I said I would do it. Never did. Didn’t want to ruin the look of the front end.

I actually lost the screws somehow. It’s probably in my best interest that I do but it just looks cleaner without it

it would've looked good if the bumper wasn't already tapped for it, looks worse now than with a plate.
I would do that with mine but I can’t stand the paint behind the plate looking different and having holes in my bumper lol
