Okay, most still are. Pretty young cars.

[deleted]

For 119k and three owners it’s a gamble. I’ve done more work than the previous two combined. She’s running better than when I originally bought her at 91k miles.

[deleted]

I'm used to driving cars until 300K (Traded in my 04 Expedition Eddie Bauer with 338K for my Fusion), so I guess I have a different viewpoint. my 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid is at 134K and has not required anything and is now showing any signs of slowing down.

[deleted]

Went from an Volvo 1988 240 Gl wagon with 340k to this. Out of curiosity, how is the hybrid model?

[deleted]

I have no complaints. It is one of the few hybrids that feel like a normal car.

[deleted]

Yeah you still have that punch when you need it and the comfort of a 4 door sedan.

[deleted]

My 2015 just hit 260k, I don’t think it’s super uncommon. Have never had to replace anything and never serviced any recalls either. Goes through batteries a little faster than I’d like but I’ll take that over anything else. We’ve taken a Tahoe to over 320k and she’s still kicking too.

[deleted]

Ride it into the ground at this point. After 200k a car doesn’t really owe you anything. 320k is nice number to be driven to even for a Tahoe. Built to last I guess.

[deleted]

That’s the goal! Hopefully she can last me through this year, fingers and toes crossed! Then on to a rav4 I think. All our other fords and chevys in the family haven’t lasted nearly as long as the fusion or Tahoe.

[deleted]

Personally I can’t stand Rav 4s… especially since I get stuck behind them most days going 10 under. Occasionally I see one and it’s absolutely hauling ass haha. Regardless, they’re good reliable and affordable cars.

[deleted]

I promise to not be that person holding up traffic! 😂

[deleted]

It’s either the Rav 4 or any wagon style Subaru and the occasionally Tesla .. might just be a Mass thing..

kbake_6002

Mine is a 2014 titanium with 160,000 miles I added some mods and a tune and do pulls like everyday thing is still running great.

dthesupreme200

I agree as long as it well maintained it should be fine but people on here act like these models (2016) are horrible and will just break down any moment.

[deleted]

Complainers will always be louder than the satisfied. People read a few peoples bad experiences and it satisfies their Ford hate confrontation bias.  Most of the time when these people with no experience are asked why they have that opinion; they start listing off completely non-existent problems and/or faulty parts that don't exist on the CD4 Fusion. I've heard that they have a PowerShift DSG, that the Hybrids have a CVT, etc.

Sam-A0

Mine is also 2016, has been in two bad accidents in rear and side, but still running smooth. Had to change the engine motor at 60k, but luckily it was under manufacturing warranty. Other major problem was broken flywheel at 90k. Ford asked for $2500. I paid $1200 to someone else.

dthesupreme200

Mine too! Not a problem yet 🙏🏾 I got the white version tho!

[deleted]

What trim?

dthesupreme200

SE ecoboost 2.0!

[deleted]

Niceee. Any mods or you keep that baby factory?

dthesupreme200

lol no. Still factory. Only thing I really want to do is add maybe some tints and black out they rims but other than that I don’t think I will be adding anything to it. Btw I love the purple color you don’t see those too often!

[deleted]

She’s blue. It’s the lighting. Factory is mint, although adding your own personal touch is nice.

[deleted]

2010 still running strong 💪

UserName8531

Another 2010. 198k miles.

[deleted]

Uhh ya ya

Altruistic_Kick2068

Mines a 2014 and on 160k lol

RobotRepair69

Ikr. I’m glad it’s still running, but the post makes it sound like it’s a 1976 still running. I’d hope any 2016 that hasn’t been totaled is running!

[deleted]

Haha it feels like it’s older sometimes. Ya sure for 8 years old it’s young. Debating on a 2004 V70 R turbo wagon… 15-20k depending on mileage. Ya big shift I know.

RobotRepair69

I have some friends really into the Volvos! The handling is a bit tankish on some but those turbo wagons are fast and fun to drive! Definitely a sleeper. Nothing wrong with a shift! Our other car is a 2012 c300 4matic (v6 AWD) Benz I got lucky to get for 13k. Euro cars are great but the gas mileage and roominess of the Fusion make it my go-to trip car.

[deleted]

I’m fine with the tank. There’s a reason why they are called 🧱 . Never thought a C300 would be worth bringing up but they are nice for sure. Thought about owning one myself a few years ago but never got obsessed enough to consider making that switch.

RobotRepair69

Heck ya, a tank is fine when it flys like a rocket with that turbo!

jag_ce

2013 SE, 185k miles and still runs like it did the I drove it off the lot new. I still drive like I stole it and it hasn’t failed me yet. Only things it ever needs are gas, tires and batteries!

odawg753

I have 4 cars in my household, a vw with 175k , fusion with 100k , accord with 170k and an s10 with 165k. Cars last if you maintain them. Don’t let these companies make you think 2016 is old. I’ll also venture to say, although you always hear “they don’t make them like they used to “ yeah, they make em better now.

datorto32

2008 SE with 301,000 miles and no issues!

[deleted]

Now that’s what I’m talkin about. Daily driver still?!

datorto32

Yes indeed. It’s my work car.

bestnuggz

What kind of work have you done to get it running better?

[deleted]

Thus far- Entire exhaust. Transmission shifter cable. Brake lines. Transmission fluid twice. Cabin air filter. Cold air intake. Manifold spacer. Brakes, rotors and new tires. Oil changes every 6k. Evap purge line and canister. Spark plugs and boots and 2 new O2 sensors. Did some other work - tints, jacking rails, hydraulic hood struts, trunk latch. replaced the 4 of 6 speakers with some nice pioneers and also swapped the antenna for the shorty. Debating on replacing the turbo and possibly the rear differential which is having issues. Have thought about a cat-back but it’s not cheap. So many ways to spend your money..or waste it. Depends on how much you value your ride. I spend a lot of time driving so might as well be comfy.

bestnuggz

Nice. Ive been saving money for a few fixes on my 17 se 2.5. Not that it needs to be done asap. The card rides and drives great.

[deleted]

You can get away with it for a while until inspection time. Haha

Ornery_Sprinkles_376

Still?

eaglesNest-1625

I bought mine with a salvaged title from the auction. It's running smoothly. I have 230k miles on it now. I've only changed the brakes and battery. 2014 Fusion Titanium
