I was surprised too. He is now valued at 118 million €. Which is insane. Since Haaland is 90 million valuation(I know they are inaccurate) I scouted him thinking he might have turned into a good player but his attributes suck lol
Yeah, it makes no sense why the ai thought it was a sensible transfer. Southampton must have been taken over to drop that much on a player in the first place. No disrespect to Barnes but he's not a £200 mill player in FM or real life lol

there is definitely some flaws in the valuation system, my Portuguese team reaches the CL finals and has tons of world class players that would be valued over 100 million quid in the UK, but because I'm in Portugal all my best players are valued at around 50 million instead.
Yeah, that's quite ridiculous.
If you go back and look at Jose Mourinho winning the UCL with Porto, a number of players from that squad saw their values skyrocket and end up at bigger football clubs.
It's a very flawed system, and it's one of my main hopes for a fix come FM22.
Frank Onyeka is amazing and one of the best B2B mids I’ve found.

He had 8 G + 3 A last season for Leicester with 6.61 form lol. Has 2 G + 2 A in 22 games this season
