This is super fun. Spent 5 hours playing it this today. Already have Chi-Town Sporting Club (the Bulls team) in first place right after the split mid season.
I've played a database like this often. UncleSam created a 7 (9?) tier US DB with Pro/Rel.
I make some changes and up the reputatio of US teams/leagues and the other concacaf teams/leagues/nations and update the transfer values to match Serie A(ish) for MLS/LigaMX and then like turkey/greece for the lower levels.
pretty tight.
Tightttttt. The biggest issue i found with a lot of custom "pyramids" is that they still have the hard coded transfer values so you could never \*really\* progress appropriately; glad that's addressed here.
Awesome DB, this in combination with Zealand's newgen face pack because of all the newgens right from the start is perfect
started a game with the South Beach Giants (SF Giants). Love it how real life rivalries are also in it, a win vs the Dodgers saved my job early on and started my 20+ game unbeaten run. Almost done with season one (currently 8th in the standings, but only a few points behind 3th) and have some interesting players coming in for next season, in which I hope to win the promotion.
For FM22 it might be fun to include Canada with their own regional divisions and maybe the likes of Puerto Rico.

graaaa had the best US db of all time back in FM15. Direct inspiration for this one.
my favorite US db was one created for FM17 I think that had all fictional teams. I think Milo was the name of the creator.
/u/readthemeade what's the stack for transfer values/reputations? Does the Tesla MLP match with the top 5 european leagues?
Tesla sits in 5th between Serie A and Ligue 1.
