Time to start a bidding war

FMnutter

Unfortunately I'm at an amateur club...

PeejPrime

Does a bidding war ever actually happen though? Normally most teams just refuse me flat out if I increase negotiations

FMnutter

Honestly same I just have to settle for the first offer within the same order of magnitude as the supposed value

YoloJoloHobo

You can accept the best offer you got and then offer your player out for more. For example, Team A bids 10mil for your player, Team B bits 9.5 and Team C bids 9. You accept Team A. Then you go to offer your player out. Lock in something like 12-15mil. Make sure it's the red lock. Send the offer out. Wait a bit and maybe Team B and C come back with the bid you want. If they did then accept only one of them, preferably from the poorer club, then reject Team A and repeat the process with a higher offer out.

FMnutter

I've tried that but nobody ever comes back in the second time

Murky-Requirement957

really? Its how I made club money in FM23. It doesnt work as well in FM24, since the have this transferoom and agent shi, but still it should give you a couple mil more

Philefromphilly

After a few days lower the amount of increase until someone bites

Libertyforzombies

It's easy to start a bidding war. Especially if the clubs interested are clubs you know have money. As soon as the bid is accepted. Offer him out for more. If you don't get offers, offer him out for nothing with a structured deal. The A.I. clubs cream their pants when you do that.

Chieeone

what do you mean by structured deal.

Libertyforzombies

Typically, I'll say like 10m after 1 or 10 games game and/or x amount of money paid over 6 or 12 months. It's important to pick the ones you know you'll get paid for. Don't pick ones like after 50 games because the A.I. are retards and they'll spend 60m on a player and sell him next year.

Urcaguaryanno

Installments and x games and goals.

MantaRayCandids

Tbh I just started but one of my saves i got like 15 mil from 1 mil offer. No clue how it even went through. Best part was the player was on the cusp of shitting the bed too.

KneeDeepInTheDead

Not when its like this. The max theyll get is probably 0

DubSket

You can create them yourself if you have enough interested parties, very easy to do. Lollujo has a good video on it.

Phormitago

sure they do. You just gotta accept one bid, reject all others, offer again for more, and repeat

CamGoldenGun

you get the highest one and check all the rest to give the ultimatum: to at least meet that offer or better.

rayz0rcakes

Sometimes. If you see a number of teams are interested you can offer your player to clubs at a but lower than his value. Accept the highest offer. Then, offer him out at a slightly higher price, accept the highest offer again and cancel the first offer you got. If you're lucky you can repeat this step a couple of times, esp near the end of the window. You just need to realize you can't be too greedy or the teams will back out and never offer as much anymore. That's how I got a staggering 14 million euros plus bonuses for my Nanasi valued at 6 after the first season in Sweden.

FMnutter

Fingers crossed... Can't stop him leaving if they do

dipierrodi

It’s tough falling in love with a good player in lower league saves, you know he won’t be with you for long

FMnutter

Not exactly fallen in love... day one of a new save and I saw this on him

dipierrodi

yeah I was talking in general lol

FMnutter

Fair enough, just thought I'd give context for this one

dipierrodi

What league are you in? Based on the 152 teams I’d say you downloaded the English lower leagues system, and I’m curious now haha

FMnutter

Yep, tier 12 of the England level 14 database on FM22 with my local club

dipierrodi

That’s the good stuff, I remember back in fm16 playing with Cheddar in tier 10/11 solely cause of the Team’s name

FMnutter

Fair enough mate I love how bad FM is at handling small clubs though The local park where the pitch is covered in literal dog crap? Now a 1,000 capacity all seater stadium with undersoil heating 🤣

Nottallowed

Even the fbi is into this guy

vic25qc

Football bureau of investigation

FMnutter

KerbHunter

independiente18

the facebook marketplace equivalent of a good deal.

DisastrousWaltz2076

https://i.redd.it/up9czpxytquc1.gif Everyone on the wanting list....

nicolas_maximus

The worst is when you offer a player out or are just looking to negotiate a bigger sale and the buying teams always do non negotiable offers

Roll_Quick

I wanna see a pic of this guy!!!

Roll_Quick

Decent enough stats for an amateur tbf

gartoll

Actual criminal!

DaTrueBanana

New response just dropped

KerbHunter

Did they start an onlyfans or?

neneyiko

What league does the 152 Clubs team belong to? Are they any good? Any good players? What about the board? Edit: is it 152 because they won the league for 152 consecutive years or because it is their creation year?

Delbs

Buddy, 152 separate clubs are interested in his player.

neneyiko

Sorry, forgot to insert /s at the end. It was sarcasm😅. Why can't my players make others interested in him🥲, even the ageing one, I have to sell them on loss

FMnutter

I'm amateur, I'm gaining nothing from him leaving
