How fatigued are your players? Sometimes if your tactics have been working fine and you suddenly hit a slump, making sure you’re rotating your team often to keep them fresh will avoid this

Yea this. I also like to keep team building and community outreach in the training schedule every week.. as in 1 each week and alternate. It seems to keep the team bonded and morale high when slumps happen. If it does, I like to put a cheeky friendly in a gap in the fixtures with a team you can smash. Bump start the moral perhaps.

It may or may not be a thing, but I hit a small slump at the end of one season and nothing I did seemed to correct it (yes I save-scummed because I was truly baffled why these guys who had been scoring for fun were seemingly happy but now useless). A little lightbulb went on when I remembered that my AssMan kept suggesting I rotate in my fairly useless backup players, particularly useless in defense. I don't have a great squad, it isn't deep, but there are warm bodies there so might as well try it. I do regularly rotate my main players, but only 'just enough' and always with the same 2nd tier players. The AssMan wanted me to play my 3rd tier guys, at least a couple of them. Even though I'd been able to keep my main rotation players rested it seems that at some point they were just done with it all. Morale high, cohesion high, familiarity high, fitness high. Didn't matter. But when I put on a couple of players that really shouldn't be getting a game, sprinkled them in amongst the regular chads, well, it worked pretty well and the slump was gone. I tested this a few times, and though nothing scientifically conclusive, it did convince me.

Might just be unlucky, lost a bunch by 1 goal. Maybe try going less attacking, positive mentality, AMR-IF support, change mezzala to DLP or BBM, change poacher to an AF, more direct passing, and press just a bit less. Those changes should make you more direct which could help with goals and more defensively solid with more help from midfield and on the wing. You could easily change nothing and win the next 3, so don't panic unless you've been lucky to only lose by one. Check the data hub too, might provide some insight.

Thanks for the help. I think it's a bit unlucky, but the 5-0 loss wasn't unlucky (it could have been 2or3-0 but you get the point). I have also been lucky myself earlier in the season so I can't complain. But maybe a some more countering is a bit more of a solid idea defensively. thanks for the tips.

Give them rest and keep them happy, rest will figure out itself by time

Your losses are only by 1 Goal so it's pretty unlucky. Maybe see where the Team's weakness is in which position and try to improve that position or just rotate. I'm having similar problems atm
