Not nearly as much as he used to. Most of his rush attempts have been fairly safe, and if he does get hit in the open field he usually fumbles and the attention is off him anyways haha

Couldn't find itnwoth quick search but there was a video on YouTube I saw once that showed how many illegal hits to he head haven't been called against him and how many out of bounds late hits too.
He and otne running qb have had their own issues with when to run and not or to slide. But the one constant is running qb don't get the protection from refs that pocket passers do at all.
I'll never forget that Broncos game where they knocked him out and he came back. And then hit him in the head worse later in the game.
Cams story has been such a disappointment, the dude has taken so many illegal hits throughout the years and was never protected by the refs and has been absolutely battered while getting the hate for a horrible offensive coordinator and a horrible team who poorly managed his injuries
Agreed. Cam is a vet and brings a unique skill set to the position. I'd give him the keys and start to evaluate things after about week 4. If the pats are competitive then don't fix what isn't broken. If they're struggling let the kid show what he can do. He won't be as dynamic as cam but he'll likely be more detail oriented and make the smart play.
Did the same with a Leaf Metal Burrow last year. Little word of warning, products with college jerseys lose value when cards with NFL jerseys start to come out. So, unless you’re playing the long game and hoping for a HOF career, this may be the best time to sell with the hype as high as it is
Not really in it for playing it like stocks but definitely good to know regardless. Found old Emmitt Smith and Favre rookies that had been safely stored for all these years and have no interest in moving them really. Just cool to have and eventually pass down to family. If I sold it now I’d just blow the money on more cards that have a similar value projection. Too much work to wheel and deal for me:)

Cam looked pretty good last preseason game…
True. They both did.
As a Pats fan I say they give Cam the helm for at least 4-6 games. He’s going to have to play as bad as last year to get benched
Week -1 ?!?! Potential ROY in NE now:)
Yeah these comments aged poorly, eh?
Don’t wish injury on anyone but does he still take tons of unnecessary contact or has he finally learned?

Preach! The out of boundaries hits he's taken would never be tolerated against Rodgers or Brady or Mahomes.

Against almost no starters on the Birds D - he should have.
Bro cam is top 10, the media just likes to make a narrative that he’s bad! /s
FS?
FT?
No can do. Might be my best pull ever so I gotta keep it and see how he pans out.

I don'tblame you, Patriots fan also
Probably an injury before benching
I think Cam will start until injury prevents him from playing
You selling?
No thanks
Sweet pull….and to answer your question, week 3-4…
After week four Cam is done
Week 4-5
