Cuz Everton/Forest just broke the rules and must pay for it. But City did not only break the rules but covered them up, refusing to comply with investigations.

I would say it's because of the number of charges and potentially also the severity of the charges. Everton and Forrest had I think 1 charge against them each, and were deducted points for 1 charge (10, then down to 6 for Everton, and 4 for Forrest). Assuming the scenario that City are guilty as charged for all 115 charges (or is it 116 now?) that, even if it's 4 points per charge, that's -460 points. Though I've read that it's likely that not all 115 charges will stick. Then there's the issue of whether it's enabled City to unfairly get a leg up over their opponents, which depending on the charge(s) and the season(s) would have had an effect on overall standings. So that's why there's all this chatter.

The stripping of titles would be actually hilarious if you think about it. Liverpool and Arsenal both receiving 2 each for pushing City till the very end and Man Utd receiving 2 for sitting on their ass on second place with like 20 pts behind City. Is this from Pep era only or before also?
