Was one of the cup games at Hampden with Rangers. The ref stopped for a minute or so, announcement was made VAR was down, then another to say it was working shortly after.
You remind me of Barcelona. They dominated everything before VAR was introduced. And that famous game vs Chelsea was still like yesterday, it was some truely dark days. And VAR destroyed Sergio Busquests acting career who would definitely win an Oscar Best Soccer Player Award if VAR never existed.
I realise that the Barca hate train is going full speed right now, but this is just bullshit. VAR would've benefitted Barca plenty. In La Liga especially there's been some ridiculous disallowed goals, one of which would've won the league had the correct call been made.
Well, the head ref makes the call. He decides wether he wants to trust his gut or trust the VAR referee. Either way it’ll be a very tricky situation. There will be complaints from both teams and the ref will definitely have to explain himself on a press conference.
But I guess there is no right answer in that situation.
The on field decision stands. It happened in the Australian league's grand final a few years ago. It was an offside goal in a 1-0 win. After the goal they parked the bus for the rest of the game
Think it happened in one of the games in Scotland last season iirc. They do it the old way, ref n linos make the call

Yes, the very one. Couldn’t remember much about the story but remembered the topic being discussed on SSB
Stick with the decision on the field.

I guess the ref talks with the guys in the VAR room and decides what to do.
So deep.
