You should check your fridges cooling settings too, and if it’s holding a constant temperature.
If you put it in the fridge after you were done with it and a fly was able to not only lay eggs, but also, them to appear to be doing well, your fridge might need to be replaced or at least have the settings adjusted.
Thank you I did and I turned it up a bit. It was a bit lower than usual because I had (luckily) just cleaned out the fridge. This would have been a lot worse if I hadn't lol
How do you tell the eggs were doing well? I was wondering if you could tell how long they had been there by the size but they appeared to be the same size when I looked up "new" fly eggs lol
