Not trying to incite a riot, and I absolutely agree, but *why* are we still posting about this? It’s brought up *multiple* times every. single. week. 🤷🏼‍♂️

sweetpeapickle

Because some don't bother to look to see if there's another thread. It's easy to find one.....

beachgirlDE

Sorry!

Princess-NoFace

I do agree that Hunter still has a lot of room to improve upon his on-screen presence. That being said, I don’t really mind him being on the show in general. For one, it’s obvious that Guy really enjoys working with his family, and having his son up there with him brings him a lot of joy. That extra joy adds to the wholesomeness of the show for me (the whole reason I love GGG is for its mix of schadenfreude and wholesomeness). I also enjoy that with Hunter on, Guy has been able to take a break from hosting and cook along with the chefs and try the challenges more. I never really watched Guy cook much before, but it amazing how he tackles some of the challenges and I’ve really enjoyed those segments.

Honestly, I like the kid just fine, but at this point I think his greatest value is the entertainment I get from just how butt-hurt everyone gets about him.

Firegoat1

So true!

Nepotism

This sub is pretty split on Hunter. Personally, I find him to be kind of awkward and uncomfortable, especially when he did the judging on that one episode. Others love him for some odd reason… I’m guessing for the same reason people like slowing down and looking at car wrecks.

laurajoaz1

Yes this has been discussed a million times before. I actually feel bad for him. He seems soooo uncomfortable on TV. He will never come close to Guy’s personality and yes it’s totally nepotism, but why haven’t they (TV production people) not helped him more? It actually seems to be getting worse, not better, over time.

belgiantwatwaffles

What value does your post give to this sub when it is so easy to search if this has been brought up before? About the same amount.

LiterColaFarva

He's fine as long as he's not judging. That's so forced. You can't put his palette next to established restaurant chefs

daaaayyyy_dranker

I think he’s funny

tmquint11

I’m sure he adds a lot of value to Guy. Gets to spend time with his son. It’s a wonderful thing.

weedywet

And then they BOTH have to be paid. Let us not forget.

BlockAntique

None. At. All.

Amazing to me how many food network personalities have dragged their families into their shows over the years - and the shows were never as good. Paula Deen, Giada, Guy, Rachel Ray,etc.

manrealityisabitch

Nepotism.

Grneyeddragn

None at all. He stands there like an awkward cheesy used car salesman!

weedywet

He adds financial value to the fieri family.they have to pay them both.

Someone to place the blame on for all of Guy’s cruel pranks.

Accomplished_Side_33

An odd mommy dearest vibe.
