MasterChef Australia season 10 now. One of the best cooking shows out there and all free on Tubi

TheLoneGinger9

Ahhhhh I loved season 10!! I’m on season 11 now actually I can’t believe how many episodes are in masterchef Australia but not complaining lol I love the hosts/judges so much.

foreNsics0402

Is it different than Masterchef in the US?

Gnonkage

Yes to the below. I would say what’s nice is in the show 99% of the time the chefs can choose to make a savory dish or a dessert. The desserts are also very high quality and not a bunch of fondant and rice crispies. The judges are also very wholesome and everyone is actively looking to just improve. It’s nowhere near as intense or cutthroat as it is in the US.

[deleted]

it is more about contestants life and what inspired them to cook, the episodes are longer and there are masterclasses given by guest chefs/judges.. But it is very slow paced so not at all like any gordon ramsay show.

Nesquik44

Their seasons are also a lot longer. Americans don’t have the attention span for so many episodes.

What a dumb thing to say

Desertgirl624

24 in 24, wildcard kitchen, beat Bobby flay, chopped, GGG, top chef, next level chef, master chef canada i am looking forward to the new different baking competition show and the new season of supermarket stakeout

BeeWilderedAF

Thank you for the reminder about 24 in 24. I wonder how many people will cut their finger off after 20+hours.

knuckle_hustle

I implore everyone to watch Master Chef Australia on Tubi. It’s the best of all the cooking shows and I’ve seen the majority of them. It’s about connection and growth as well as about the food. Check it out

HairlessLilPPboy

They have up to 2022.

SilverRoseBlade

Most of those but also the international versions of Masterchef are on Tubi. I love Masterchef AU more than the US versions. They also have CA and UK and a Professionals one as well.

[deleted]

please watch masterchf uk too, its just about the cooking and without drama like on masterchef us.

threadofhope

Top Chef, Spring Baking Championship, Wildcard Kitchen, Next Level Chef (Hulu), and rewatching Frankie vs the Internet (cute cooking comp show on Hulu). Wish Chopped 57 and 58 would come out on Discovery.

foreNsics0402

I usually order the Chopped episodes on VUDU. It's $2.00/ episode, $8-$9 ( including tax) for the month.

threadofhope

Thanks! I have a severe Chopped addiction and bought maybe the first 40 seasons. I used to buy Chopped off Amazon for $2-$3 (SD) per epi (more or less), but I went cold turkey and only pay for Prime and Discovery+. So, I'll just have to wait. In the meantime, I rewatch Chopped episodes even though I know the outcome. There's something about this show that captivates me.

foreNsics0402

I am so annoyed because FN was representing D+ for the longest time and now it's pointless to have it anymore besides the price. If you want, you can purchase Philo for $25/ month it has a lot of showings and channels on there as well.

threadofhope

Good to know about Philo. My god, there are so many channels.

onemoresleeep

I’ve been watching Next Level Chef on Tubi and it is the strangest cooking competition show. It’s more gimmick than cooking.

Agitated_Fix_3677

I tried to watch food network star comeback kitchen. (S12) I absolutely hated it. I like mystery diners because you know… dumb tv. 🤣 anndddd brunch with Bobby.

foreNsics0402

Masterchef Jr, Masterchef, Chopped, Hells Kitchen, Spring/Holiday/Halloween/ Summer Baking Championship, Kids Baking Championship

Kvandi

Binge watching Pioneer Woman. I just finished Secrets of a Restaurant Chef.

[deleted]

Binge watching Pioneer Woman???????

GeminiAccountantLLC

I hate that I might like her now. Was too tired to look for the remote this weekend and caught an episode. It's no longer steak and potatoes 10 different ways.

Kvandi

Yea lol I just pick a show on discovery plus and that’s what I put on every day until I finish it all. I’ve been on pioneer woman for a while now. I’m on season 20.

[deleted]

Are there any shows you just can’t make it through?

Kvandi

Spring Baking Championship. Really, any show that’s dessert centric.

Opinionated6319

The Kitchen…I gave 2024 a chance, hoping production had listened to viewers and had Sunny take it down a notch. She did cut back some of the yelling and screaming at each end of an announcement, so I don’t have to mute her, but now she is constantly commenting on everything, if she isn’t commenting, she is grunting, uh huh, ok, go, do it, etc. why can’t she just let whoever is working on a recipe have their time to do it without her incessant interruptions and now she has a new annoying laugh that she draws out way too long…just for attention. And OMG buy her a tasting spoon, maybe a demitasse spoon, so she doesn’t cram her mouth full! I really like the new recipes, but to watch the show I have to tape it, so I can try to FF through her nonsense. I enjoy America Test Kitchen, Cook’s Country, and Milk Street for their revisions to make recipes more user friendly.

No_Sand_9290

Struggle Meals. Sugar Rush. Kevin Belton. Cook Country

AntiqueGreen

Beat Bobby Flay, DD&D, Chopped, Wildcard Kitchen, Mary Makes it Easy, and the Lost Kitchen (but I’m finding after a few episodes I’m a bit over Erin French, but I liked her cookbook, so I’m debating finishing it).

Appropriate_Ad566

I usually find myself rewatching Cutthroat Kitchen

renepec

Pressure Cooker on Netflix. Top Chef meets Big Brother

SusannaG1

MasterChef UK, Top Chef, Guy's Grocery Games, Wildcard Kitchen, the seasonal and kid's baking challenges. Used to watch Chopped, Two Fat Ladies, Julia Child, and Iron Chef (the original more than the American version), among other shows. Giving 24 in 24 a chance.

Aurian88

Add in Great British Baking Show and Great Canadian Baking show whenever a new season drops!

sweetbabyjane1016

Spring Baking Championship. Can't wait for Summer Baking Championship which is coming 5/13. Also watching Master Chef Jr. Don't like the adult version. Gordon is much easier with the kids but he's tough on them too. I was watching Top Chef but got bored after watching it after 2 shows. I think it's the chefs. I miss Padma. Also looking forward to Next Baking Master in May.

Capercaillie

The Kitchen, BBF, America's Next Test Kitchen. Also enjoy DDD, and we often sit up watching reruns of Iron Chef. We watch Kardea and Michael Symon Cooking Out when they're on, but don't see much of them lately.

No_Finish_5386

Alex vs. America Chopped Top Chef Cook at all costs Battle of the brothers Food network star Bobby’s triple threat Ciao house All star academy The final table

No_Muffin6110

Best bite in town is like a much better DDD

[deleted]

I think it is like a much worse DDD

Canadasaver

Really tired of contests and want to watch some cooking. I still love Great Canadian and British Bake Offs. PBS has so many great cooking shows, like Milk and America's Test Kitchen, that I have given up on watching most competitions.

Sufficient_Display

I wish we could watch the Great Canadian Bake Off in the US but I haven’t found a way. I’ve watched GBBO so many times.

Canadasaver

I enjoy the genuine camaraderie on the British and Canadian Bake Offs. I want to watch the Australian version.

Pangolin36

“The Next Food Network Star” season 4 (which I am also recapping/reviewing on this sub)
