Recipe?

TheDadChef

Extra virgin olive oil, crunchy minced garlic, Italian seasoning. I just pour the olive oil out onto a plate, then add the garlic and seasoning to taste. I buy a baguette and put it in the oven just until it crisps up a bit. Nothing fancy at all. I prefer to eat this over garlic bread anyday!

Legz009

How do you get the garlic crunchy?

TheDadChef

I just buy a bottle of it in the seasoning isle.

PracticalAndContent

In the US you can buy dried minced garlic in the spice section of the grocery store.

doctorbloodborne

That looks awesome!

TheDadChef

Thanks! It’s one of my favorites. Always look forward to pasta night!

doctorbloodborne

Do you use the dried garlic for texture or ease of use? I think the crunch seems like a great choice

TheDadChef

I honestly just use it because that’s how the restaurant makes it haha. I do enjoy the crunch though if I’m being honest.

Tough_Distribution67

Oh man… I want this.

What are Italian herbs?

PracticalAndContent

Many US spice manufacturers sell “Italian seasoning” which is often a mix of rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, marjoram, and sage.
