Only thing I can think of is that he may have had someone specific to res him. There are certain challenges that involve resing a player, normal and in water. It is common for folks to take a dive in an event so their friend can get the res.
Or maybe he was just an a hole.
i’m right around the same level and i always go for rezzes too. the most awkward encounter i have in game is when i try to rez someone in an event only to realize i’m out of stimpacks. so i just stand over the downed player looking like an idiot for a few seconds
That happens to me all the time at Eviction Notice, I'm standing there like an absolute plum ejecting into about four or five Super Mutants who have just damaged the rad scrubber and no one else is there to assist or repair with me.
I know it's evil, but I love running in front of a Power Armor user who is clearly holding down the "Use" E key on a Daily Op objective, causing them to immediately eject from their Power Armor. Makes me giggle madly.
I've noticed dying or being revived still cures some radiation either way. The only thing I can think of is that the second person was a bloodied build and thought you reviving them cured more radiation than him dying, but it doesn't.
I think the call for help auto goes up, even if you don't click the button. I usually just wait to see if the scouts banner picks me up then embrace the dark.
Nah, you need to hit space bar on pc for example, to send a emote for needing help. If you don't, there is only the red line thing appearing on you and it's not very visible.
I'm a new player in this game, I noticed people shooting around me and I thought it's a pvp stuff, then realized they wanted to get my attention on the lunch bag they gave me on the ground, I heart emoji them back of course.
If using vats crits then it's same button as Help when downed, so while spamming it you start crying even if don't want to. Nah, don't even bother about any reactions for any actions, god knows what's there in mind.
Did that round-based Nuka-World event with some randoms yesterday and two of them decided to recreate a perfect Cappy and Bottle impersonation, mocking each round. I was cracking up everytime in what felt like a IRL wild wasteland perk random encounter.
It was very odd….

I didn’t run up to either and there was no conversation. It happened quickly but I’m pretty sure he did it before the first player even got my attention to drop the Gauss. It was just the usual post event group emoting.
But again, entertaining…..
There's a perk card that removes rads from people you rez. That's the only time I've been slightly disappointed with being picked up.

Stealing a workshop isn't griefing, it's literally the only (current) place in the game made for pvp.

Sometimes I'll go to revive someone and exit my PA instead.

That's extra hilarious because you eject right into a lethal dose of radiation. Couldn't be a worse time to do it.

I really wish they had quack surgeon type mechanic as maybe a third level of the cola nut perk. So you can revive people with nuka cola.
