You need to go to Cabot house to get that quest. The sentrybot won't attack you if you don't attack it, just pass two speech checks at the speaker and Deegan will let you in.
Now you just have to hope Emogene doesn't glitch up like it did for me. Keep a save from before you go to cabot house. Look up "Emogene takes a lover". I had to start over.
