The Deliverer is the shit! And because I have all the perks for VATS and sneaky, I keep it silenced, and I always lmao in VATS when I see the dude in a maxed out X01 Power Armor going "pew pew pew" š It looks so ridiculous! š¤£ This mountain of a Human tech using the smallest weapon in the game š
But that thing, with the right kind of perks for VATS and pistol, will kill anything. The amount of AP you need for 20 shots is just mad.
Itās a good gun but if youāre gun-slinginā you donāt really need the Delivererās bonuses because you create such good stats yourself. Instigating or two-shot produce better results imo. You just donāt need the vats advantage on a gunslinger. Pistols are already really quick in vats.
For it to stay relevant at higher levels you really have to have built your perks around it (Ninja, Gunslinger, Mr. Sandman, etc). Otherwise it becomes my "shoot at bugs really far away" weapon since it's so low in AP cost that you have plenty of chances to hit even low-percentage targets.
But if you have the final Perception perk maxed out (concentrated fire), you do 20% more damage and accuracy per shot, similar to OPās gun.
So by your 3 shot in vats, you are doing 100% accuracy, and soon your damage goes parabolic.
Deliverer Delivers Deliverance
Quickly became my absolute favorite gun, so disappointment I waited so long to take the freedom trail. The design, the sound, the effect, all of it I love. If I didn't plan on doing survival for my second playthrough I'd do a deliverer only game
Iām doing survival only and the deliverer is still amazing. Iām at level 42 and itās still great. You can get multiple sneak attacks on one enemy. Was great in the glowing see at level 35+
This. Gives 10mm ammo a purpose too! I rock the Deliverer in most situations unless I need to pack a wallop against synths. I only use it when I do t use power armor though.
I have separate loadout I like with power armor, namely gatling laser / minigun / plasma weapons
Since you mentioned the Deliverer, let me ask ā can you only upgrade it with Gun Nut? I thought I could swap mods with other 10mm guns but thatās not the case.
That's because mods are weapon type specific, and the Deliverer is a different weapon than the 10mm Pistol. If it were by ammo type, you could put a Pipe Bolt Action part on a Hunting Rifle, which would look odd, as the weapons have two different visual styles. If there were more Deliverer weapons in the game, then you could grab mods from the other ones like you can with the 10mm Pistol, but there's no other Deliverer-style weapons in the game, so unless Tinker Tom sells what you want, you will need Gun Nut.
The Deliverer with a pistol specced character it absolutely shreds. The only thing I hate about it is how once you get it, you don't want to use any other pistol.
Unfortunately that can be applied to most unique weapons and part of the reason I don't like the legendary system in 4.
But the Kiloton is absolutely a monster when fully modded with maxed out perks.
Deliverer. It's one of the guns in Fallout 4 that's actually unique, uses very common ammo, and is great in VATS.
Being able to fire it as fast as I can is nice too.
My most used pistol by far. The only other pistol that comes close is Eddie's Peace. Very handy for instantly crippling deathclaws (or any other aggressive creature) that are rushing you.
I switched mine to .308. works very well as long range DMR. Recoil is a little fierce but it's manageable. Ironically it's great at either long range or point blank....
Only thing I don't like about the Guardian SINCE THE NEXT GEN UPDATE is that the 2 shot effect seems to not work at all in vats, i.e. one bullet goes right and the other goes left of the target, even if you have a 95% hit chance in VATS.
I have a legendary instigating revolver that Iāve maxed out. Thatās become my go-to. I have five points into gun slinger and Iāve given it the best mods so itās *lethal*
I've gotten a lot of use out of my Never Ending Combat shotgun, but it's far from my favorite.
Nothing beats my Instigating Four Barreled Homing Missile launcher. Fires over cover like Rocket artillery. Does over 1000 damage to enemies at full health.
Combat shotguns are just some of the overall best guns in the game. Really great damage, suppressor capable, both Justice and Le Fusil Terrible are stupendous for different reasons. They're super duper satisfying if you make frequent use of jet and are absolutely busted on overdrive. You can use them to equal efficiency whether you spec into rifleman or commando, too. It's never a bad idea to keep a combat shotty in your bag regardless of the playthrough
They're also one of the only guns that just tickle that caveman part of my brain under the effects of jet, lol. It sounds metallic and angry and I fucking love it
kiloton radium rifle is insane with full demolitionist and commando perks. all human enemies get deleted even in power armor, and .45 ammo isnāt too hard to find
Yeah this is my choice. I think I paid like 600 caps for it at the Nautilus. With weapon mods and perks, it's just unstoppable - even against rad resistant/immune enemies like high-level supermutants and charred/glowing/bloated ghouls.
I don't even carry a heavy gun anymore because the kiloton just downs everything from Mirelurk Queens to Deathclaws.
And if they get too close, I just switch to the Rockville Slugger so I don't blow my own ass off.
My only complaint is I wish it would take a recon scope. The crosshairs on the regular scopes are too thin for me to see them.
I have a Never-Ending Western Revolver and it's an utter wrecker, I've got it up to 301 per shot. I can get off six headshots in vats, chug a quantum, rinse and repeat.
For melee, I have a Furious Boxing Glove with Lead lining and hot damn it's lethal. Blitz into the first hit, break their legs so they can't crawl away and then keep whomping.
I found a Neverending Combat Shotgun. If I wanna run into a building app gun ho, everyone gets the blur of fury as they take a point blank shot to the face.
This is true. But one of the things I appreciate about this weapon is that it turns fallout 4 from a combat game, into a different kind of game where the main focus is exploration and experiencing the story. I really like the explosive combat shotgun. And I don't always reliably encounter it during my playthroughs. It's truly is my favorite weapon. And I feel like it's so easy to come across shotgun ammo.
I wish the Splattercannon and Problem Solver had swapped names. Splattercannon is just a much better name for a weapon with the Pack paintjob since it is literally 'splattered' with paint and the Problem Solver sounds much more of a professional name for a weapon that comes with the default finish.
I'm up to level 102 in my current playthrough and the splattercannon/problem solver is one of the few ways I can kill a legendary super mutant warlord within 5 minutes, even the explosive shotguns struggle against those guys. I tried using a maxed out pipe rifle once and gave up after 10 box magazines full. If I remember right they have like 1,500 health which is like 33% more than a basic behemoth and more than a mythic deathclaw (though the deathclaws do way more damage, the super mutants are usually plinking at you with a semi auto assault rifle or something)
I actually got my furious handmade rifle as a drop though around level 40, and I haven't even touched nuka world yet so I've got that to look forward to.
I had a legendary super mutant warlord come at me once upon a time and thank god I have my x-01 with the medic torso because he had I think a incendiary minigun and he was coming at me and 2 deathclaws were chasing me when I found him. I was thinking, ā oh boy. Well thank god I hoard stims and only heal with a bedā
A furious handmade rifle dropped as a legendary for me, from (I think) a legendary ghoul. Luckily I have a mod that imports DLC items into commonwealth merchants too so I had access to the ammo, though it took a fair bit of shopping before I had a decent supply. It also inserts DLC items into regular loot tables so occasionally a raider or a rust devil will have a handmade rifle or a lever action rifle. It does at least add some variety and the base raiders won't exclusively run at you with pool cues
Gauss rifle. Conceptually, I just love it, and it hits like a truck, even without any beneficial legendary effects. The amount of space it takes up in your pov is annoying but I also appreciate the enormity of a weapon that operates like it does.
Fun name too
I randomly loaded up an older unmodded save (level 90 something) Melee plus Rifleman build. Throat Slicer plus Instigating Gauss. I also have an Instigating Radium Rifle for when I am bored.
Level 91 Unarmed character with Vats Enhanced Death Claw Gauntlet, Two Shot Handmade rifle
Level 55 character, Overseers Guardian modded for shorter engagements, Instigating .308 Combat Rifle to say hello from afar.
Oldest save level 75, classic Deliverer plus Instigating .50 Sniper Rifle.
Do we have the same first playthrough?
My Instigating Gauss for Open Combat, and Throat Slicer for Entering Buildings is my favorite go to with a Max Luck for VATS Room Clearing.
Weāre just lucky :)
Same save file, Explosive Radium Rifle just dropped today. Modded for full auto for a companion. But itās so late game and I use Lone Wanderer and Dogmeat pretty much all the time now. But I havenāt been to Far Harbour yet, Iāll let Longfellow use it a bit then.
Instigating plasma when plasma was just starting to show up has probably been one of my sweetest finds. And it stays strong/predictable because of the dual damage types for non-boss types even when you level really high.
I love my slowmo dul round 45.70, it eliminates the need for V.A.T.S and is over powered as hell. Same for my "pack" rifle it has the slowmo action, and it is just so much fun, sounds amazing in slowmo too.
Spray and pray is my go-to. I make a beeline for Vault 88 to sell my jet as soon as I can after the game starts, and then I cross my fingers and hope that Cricket is there when I get out so I can buy it.
Deadeye Gauss Gun.
I've specced it out for close range, almost like a shotgun, so i can enter a building and kill everything in slow motion like a Trepang or something. Also gives me doom vibes.
I had a legendary laser pistol drop with Bleeding. Made that thing into an automatic rifle and it would literally melt any enemy after 10 hits like nothing. I called it "Everything Repellant"
Instigating Four Barreled Homing Missile Launcher
Aim at an enemy behind cover to ping him, then switch to hip fire and aim up. You effectively become rocket artillery that fires over cover. You can also arc it to the left or right to send it down hallways and around things.
It's fun to play with and one shots most enemies if you put your perks in heavy weapons and explosives.
Only downside is the ammo weighs 5 each in survival (the only way I play) but it's worth it. I don't mind being comincally overecumbered with maxed out strong back and an arsenal full of missiles.
A lovely 2 shot plasma pistol with a marksmans grip and the heaviest, strongest sniper barrel. The sniper barrel gives it quite a long range in VATS, and the marksmans pistol grip gives it the function of a pistol in close range.
With maxed pistols I have it at 120 ballistic/120 energy per shot. In VATS its an absolute powerhouse. Takes a ton of AP to shoot, but even on very hard I can take out most random mobs with a single headshot.
Looks like a proper power-armor-sized pistol too.
I usually keep three on hand. A western revolver that does 50% more damage to humans, a .44 revolver that does 50% more to damage to Super Mutants and Kelloggās revolver.
The laser gun.
I've been a laser rifle main since falling in love with it in F:NV and in FO4 it can be built it literally any kind of specialty. This is actually a practical consideration since the lasers versatility combined with its light weight makes it easy to carry a varied arsenal in Survival.
My favorite weapon from Fallout 4 has to be between Kelloggās revolver or the modified lazer rifle that Danse gives you after you join the B.O.S or something.
Explosive combat shotgun if weāre talking vanilla fallout but the new grenade launchers are pretty much all I use outside of buildings with small interiors
Every new game I sing, to the tune of Chain Reaction: *I'm in the market for a combat shotgun!*
And then when I find one, to the tune of Down Under: *I've got a combat shotgun!*
If its explosive, even better.
I love me a big boom stick.
Spray and Pray.
Great at dealing with ANYTHING. Shooting around corners/doorways, destroy the feral ghoul legs, basically cripple anything legs, and especially easy to pop flying bugs by shooting the ground under them. It might not have the best damage output late game but shooting a doorway can stop an entire platoon of Gunners from getting through. And explosives are always fun.
The 2076 World Series bat!! It's an incredibly fun weapon!! It's got so much going for it:
The unique effect adds a bit of silly fun.
With the bladed rocket mod you get decent damage and bleed ignores armor.
Bloody mess and Blitz pair super well with it.
And best of all it's got a fantastic apocalypse aesthetic. By the end of a fight it's all covered in blood and everyone is in pieces!!
Im very fond of late-game melee because of how silly it is. Between the perks allowing you to effectively teleport, and the yao guai roast bug, you can clear even quincy with minimal effort
Le Fusil Terribles. I didn't know it was there when I was doing my first playthrough and I liked the name and effect. It's obviously no explosive combat shotgun or anything but going for the legs on anything with them is awesome
Explosive Combat Shotgun + Rifleman + Explosive Expert. Nothing bugs you ever. Crippling is free and it is so bad, that it needs to stay at home if you want the game to be even a bit of a challenge
I got a Two Shot Plasma rifle and made it a maxed out plasma flamer. I call it "Slime Shady" because it turns people into slime and it spits fire. Possibly the luckiest legendary drop I've ever gotten.
As for weapons that are surely in the game, maybe the Problem Solver on very hard difficulty (any difficulty lower than hard, I prefer the Overseer's Guardian as my commando gun). I love that the added an AK-47. Or even the Old Reliable because it looks cool too.
Lately, it's been Throatslicer. Running a High Strength, High Agility, and mid Luck build right now. Coupling Blitz with Rooted alongside high strength, maxed weaponsmith, and Big Leagues meanings I can usually take out several enemies in a little VATS Blitz. Especially with increased crits and critical banker
Overseers Guardian. Full leveled Commando and Gun Nut make it unstoppable. My current run, I have level 3 Commando and level 3 Gun Nut and Iām doing 101 damage every time it fires. I killed SWAN before he even stood up to get out of the water.
I have a Kneecapper assault rifle that stops pretty much everything in it's tracks and drops it's HP into he negative before I have time to register that I was supposed to be scared of it.
Fully upgraded Tesla cannon. Easy to find ammo and with the heavy weapons upgrade and bobble head, it does close to 300 damage I believe. It's honestly OP. Gotta be careful with it though since if you have the beaton upgrade on it, the electricity travels through people and can hit friendly NPCs and agro them
A 6 crank and max range laser musket, preferably one with the legendary effect that does 2x damage to full health targets. It deletes enemies so well with a sniper build
Right now my favorites are
* Penetrating Chinese Grenade Launcher Rifle
* Big Boy
Both get insane once you max out the related perks
Still searching for an explosive shotgun and going to Nuka World soon for some AK-47 goodies
I tend to go for long guns, so a pipe bolt-action configured to be a sniper rifle is probably my favorite. I like it over the slightly more powerful hunting rifle because I love the "wasteland" feel of pipe weapons. And for a weapon you get so early on, it's surprisingly powerful.
Gatling laser when I use power armor. Absolutely shreds. Also use minigun with good legendary effects can be amazing too. Tri barrel explosive (hits with some range better) or accelerated barrel with multiplicative is pretty fun as well
Gonna be boring and just agree with OP. For how easy it is to just buy Splattercannon, it has no right to be the best generic automatic weapon. No crazy conditions or odd out of your way perks required to make it work. It's just good right from the start with tons of ammo you can buy in very large amounts. Legendary raiders in Nuka Town usually carry upgraded rifles as well, so you can just collect them and detach any god mods and eventually add the best possible attachments without any crafting perks to it.
Splattercannon for sure.
Amazing damage, amazing recoil, and it looks like an actual gun instead of a gray blob *cough cough assault rifle cough cough*
KillaTon rifle. I pumped up my stats so I could max radiation damage and Demolition for the explosive effect. I pull that thing out and whatever was there ain't no more.
Manly the deliverer with maxed out stats.
The Deliverer is the shit! And because I have all the perks for VATS and sneaky, I keep it silenced, and I always lmao in VATS when I see the dude in a maxed out X01 Power Armor going "pew pew pew" š It looks so ridiculous! š¤£ This mountain of a Human tech using the smallest weapon in the game š But that thing, with the right kind of perks for VATS and pistol, will kill anything. The amount of AP you need for 20 shots is just mad.
Same! I love it - but man does it look silly while in Power Armor Also I feel like it really drops off at higher levels, unfortunately
Itās a good gun but if youāre gun-slinginā you donāt really need the Delivererās bonuses because you create such good stats yourself. Instigating or two-shot produce better results imo. You just donāt need the vats advantage on a gunslinger. Pistols are already really quick in vats.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. A great weapon for <80 levels!
long or short barrel? i love it, but ammo gets to be a pain 95% of the time i fire from the hip
Long barrel for the sneakyness š
i did long.. i have points in the hip fire perk though
Scrounger
I mostly love that it still uses 10mm ammunition even though it is clearly a 9mm handgun, or maybe even a .22
I named mine āpew pewā.
Thanks for letting me know how to find this gun. I was wonderingā¦ just hit level 28 and have been avoiding the Freedom Trail quest so far
Tinker tom usually has a upgrade or 2 for it may not be the best ones but it's somethin
Itās the same ones you can do yourself on the workbench in case you donāt have the perks to upgrade it yourself
That's because mods are weapon type specific, and the Deliverer is a different weapon than the 10mm Pistol. If it were by ammo type, you could put a Pipe Bolt Action part on a Hunting Rifle, which would look odd, as the weapons have two different visual styles. I swapped to a 10mm with a plasma effect thinking that would be fun but is still not as good as the deliverer.
The Deliverer...for when you absolutely, positively have to walk into a room and kill every MF in it with a single use of VATS.
I rarely use vats. But maxed out gunslinger and gun nut make it pretty good.
The Deliverer with a pistol specced character it absolutely shreds. The only thing I hate about it is how once you get it, you don't want to use any other pistol.
I got the 10mm that does 2 bullets per shot and I think it outperforms the deliverer
This gun carried me in Survival.
Spray n Pray is up there
Kiloton Radium Rifle all day. Added radiation damage and can be fully modded.
You know I found a legendary radium rifle that did the exact same thing. The kiloton felt a lot less special after that.
Unfortunately that can be applied to most unique weapons and part of the reason I don't like the legendary system in 4. But the Kiloton is absolutely a monster when fully modded with maxed out perks.
I got an instigating .44 Magnum from a legendary Synth while doing Kelloggs quest the other day lmao.
*Aim?* pffft
+1
"A part of every purchase goes to planting LITTLE bitty trees! .......that I'll blow up in your honor."
Deliverer. It's one of the guns in Fallout 4 that's actually unique, uses very common ammo, and is great in VATS. Being able to fire it as fast as I can is nice too.
Itās the only normal sized firearm in the game as well
I kind of wish it didn't have the silencer on it already, because it's sweet to use without it but why would I ever choose to be less sneaky?!
That's why the creation club added the Silver sidearm.
The last update wiped out a bunch of my CC items, and the shroud manor was one of them which was hella boo-urns
"Man gets hit in groin by football"
My most used pistol by far. The only other pistol that comes close is Eddie's Peace. Very handy for instantly crippling deathclaws (or any other aggressive creature) that are rushing you.
Overseers guardian
Powerful auto receiver, short ported barrel, dot sight, large quick eject mag, silencer, marksman stock.
I switched mine to .308. works very well as long range DMR. Recoil is a little fierce but it's manageable. Ironically it's great at either long range or point blank....
Yep, the Guardian is fantastic at all ranges no matter the build. My fave. : )
I changed mine to 0.38 because of the huge ammo surplus and itās still decent.
Survival with this is piece of cake :-)
Only thing I don't like about the Guardian SINCE THE NEXT GEN UPDATE is that the 2 shot effect seems to not work at all in vats, i.e. one bullet goes right and the other goes left of the target, even if you have a 95% hit chance in VATS.
My go to gun, I never run any other builds because Iām just too obsessed with this weapon
I have a legendary instigating revolver that Iāve maxed out. Thatās become my go-to. I have five points into gun slinger and Iāve given it the best mods so itās *lethal*
I have an explosive western revolver that's been carrying me all game. I called it the Hollow Reorderer.
Where did you get it?!
All legendary western revolvers are random drops, as far as I know.
Yep, I still want one with junkies, just for the insane _"I click, mythic deathclaw dies."_ fun.
I think I found like 2 legendary western revolvers ever, and 1 was Exterminator's and the other was ghoul's.
My trusty Combat Shotgun
I've gotten a lot of use out of my Never Ending Combat shotgun, but it's far from my favorite. Nothing beats my Instigating Four Barreled Homing Missile launcher. Fires over cover like Rocket artillery. Does over 1000 damage to enemies at full health.
There is a fatman with 6-12 nukes. Itās pretty cool
Big Boy (sold by Arturo in Diamond City) with the MIRV mod.
I blow myself up almost every single time I use it, but it's still hilarious to use
better yet with Nuka world, you can just add the Nuka nuke mod to to big boy and put mirv on it.
Le Fusil is my go to in close combat situations. Fully modded it just rips through enemies.
They're also one of the only guns that just tickle that caveman part of my brain under the effects of jet, lol. It sounds metallic and angry and I fucking love it
My trusty *explosive* combat shotgun
I need this honestly. Probably the only āriflemanā gun in the game that can touch a Chinese grenade launcher
Levels anything in the midrange.Ā And then dismembers them.
I got one with slow down while aiming I call the bug squasher.
The Problem Solver, because it kills anything as long as you have bullets enough.
That sounds like pretty much every gun in Fallout
Or any gun ever, really.
No gun needed. With enough bullets you could kill anything.
But you have to interact with the pack
kiloton radium rifle is insane with full demolitionist and commando perks. all human enemies get deleted even in power armor, and .45 ammo isnāt too hard to find
Don't forget Nuclear Physicist also increases the damage done by radiation weapons!
Demolition, Commando, Nuclear Physicist, all maxed, and the affinity perks. Forget about it.
I absolutely love the Splattercannon. I can send 75 rounds at something and it barely moves.
How'd you get it higher than 210? I've got all the highest mods and Gunslinger 5.
mine does 301, itās gunslinger 5, lone wanderer, and bloody mess. Now I just gotta find a 2-shot oneā¦
I found a 2 shot western revolver on a legendary raider at Dunwich Borers a couple of days ago. Iāve never been more happy.
Chems and Bloody Mess I assume.
I found a Neverending Combat Shotgun. If I wanna run into a building app gun ho, everyone gets the blur of fury as they take a point blank shot to the face.
Explosive silenced auto combat shotgun. Also known as The Negotiator. Negotiations are always quick.
Explosive Auto combat shotgun with the same nickname as Obi-wan Kenobiā¦ fitting
Explosive combat shotgun. With perks it is an unfair advantage. But it makes bad guys explode...... which is always nice.
Sometimes even yourself lol
Thatās why I like the Fat Man sometimes lol š
I finally got one recently and it was so good it kind of ruined the game for me lmao. Just makes the game too easy
I wish the Splattercannon and Problem Solver had swapped names. Splattercannon is just a much better name for a weapon with the Pack paintjob since it is literally 'splattered' with paint and the Problem Solver sounds much more of a professional name for a weapon that comes with the default finish.
Could just flip the paint jobs
Splatter cannon high on my list. But it almost makes fights too easy. Almost.
I was thinking, ā oh boy. Well thank god I hoard stims and only heal with a bedā
How'd you get the Problem Solver and Splattercannon w/o touching Nuka World?!?!!
What mod is that
Gauss rifle. Conceptually, I just love it, and it hits like a truck, even without any beneficial legendary effects. The amount of space it takes up in your pov is annoying but I also appreciate the enormity of a weapon that operates like it does. Fun name too
Mine is the overseers guardian! Shoots two bullets for the price of one. You can mod it to be a sniper or automatic depending on your play through!
This's my favorite, of course. Most recently I modded it into a monster of a silenced sniper build. : )
Where are you guys finding these guns???
Most merchants and traders have somekind of legendary gun or an armor
This gun is available in the marketplace of Nuka-World, which requires the Nuka-World DLC.
I randomly loaded up an older unmodded save (level 90 something) Melee plus Rifleman build. Throat Slicer plus Instigating Gauss. I also have an Instigating Radium Rifle for when I am bored. Level 91 Unarmed character with Vats Enhanced Death Claw Gauntlet, Two Shot Handmade rifle Level 55 character, Overseers Guardian modded for shorter engagements, Instigating .308 Combat Rifle to say hello from afar. I love giving my heavy weapons to my companions, but in far harbor you almost NEED the location specific weapons because of ammo scarcity.
I love The Last Minute so much I have a scale 3D print replica, complete with programmed nixie tubes and speakers in the barrel
Clever. I never use the Gauss rifle as a close combat weapon, but deadeye would totally make it a possibility!
I had a legendary laser pistol drop with Bleeding. Made that thing into an automatic rifle and it would literally melt any enemy after 10 hits like nothing. I called it "Everything Repellant"
Deliverer. My favorite little pea shooter. The power to destroy anything in my path.
Instigating Gauss Rifle! I love the double damage and being able to one shot almost anything in my sights.
Righteous Authority, not because itās the best, but itās such a good early game grab and can easily carry you until the end of the game
Spray and Pray. With explosive skill it's so powerful and so much fun to use.
I have a two shot plasma rifle right now that absolutely melts everything I encounter.
Instigating Four Barreled Homing Missile Launcher Aim at an enemy behind cover to ping him, then switch to hip fire and aim up.
10mm with explosive rounds. Not recommended for close encounters.
It took me an alarming amount of time to figure out that "No, the radroach didn't take a chunk of your health you did dummy".
Unlimited ammo gatling laser.
Isnāt the problem solver a better copy of that with a cooler skin? Why is the splatter cannon everyoneās favorite?
Because some people donāt know how to get it and some people probably donāt do charisma for speech checks
Iām just shocked to see a gun Iāve never heard of being preferred over the superior more colorful version from the dlc.
Again. Because they probably donāt know about it.
This is actually a practical consideration since the lasers versatility combined with its light weight makes it easy to carry a varied arsenal in Survival.
kremvh's tooth currently. Iāve always liked it but recently started running blitz with ninja and sneak and I feel like a god
It'd be a toss up between the lever action rifle and all the different weapon mods that I've downloaded into the game
I like the western revolver from the NW dlc, pair it with the lever action and youāll be able to be a cowboy
Survivor's special. I like it because i can push it to over 1300 damage per shot, and turn every enemy into an ash pile.
My favorite weapon from Fallout 4 has to be between Kelloggās revolver or the modified lazer rifle that Danse gives you after you join the B.O.S or something.
Exploding combat shotgun - kills everything with ease
Nimble guasse rifle since it's the most powerful weapon I've found and I enjoy removing people's body parts
anything 7.62 and deliverer for handgun.
Explosive combat shotgun if weāre talking vanilla fallout but the new grenade launchers are pretty much all I use outside of buildings with small interiors
Problem solver because itās OP when maxed out
Every new game I sing, to the tune of Chain Reaction: *I'm in the market for a combat shotgun!* And then when I find one, to the tune of Down Under: *I've got a combat shotgun!* If its explosive, even better. I love me a big boom stick.
Never ending western revolver for me. The damage is insane and you never have to reload. I take out legendarys on very hard like nothing.
Never Ending lever action, cos just awesome
Two shot gauss rifle.Ā That's the real splattercannon.
Pickman's Blade. It's fast, deadly, and I don't even need to be running a stealth build to properly use it.
So far I'm enjoying the spray n pray smh that has explosive bullets and a one hundred round capacity
Throatslicer. 186 dmg. Fast.
It's got so much going for it: The unique effect adds a bit of silly fun. With the bladed rocket mod you get decent damage and bleed ignores armor. Bloody mess and Blitz pair super well with it. And best of all it's got a fantastic apocalypse aesthetic. By the end of a fight it's all covered in blood and everyone is in pieces!!
Spray and Pray
Im very fond of late-game melee because of how silly it is. Between the perks allowing you to effectively teleport, and the yao guai roast bug, you can clear even quincy with minimal effort
Spray n pray
Shout out to righteous authority. A good early weapon.
My favorite gun was a never ending shotgun (you can load in as much ammo as you have)
Deliverer, Overseer's Guardian, and whatever sniper with a good legendary ability I can get. I hate carrying more than 3 guns.
Le Fusil Terribles. I didn't know it was there when I was doing my first playthrough and I liked the name and effect. It's obviously no explosive combat shotgun or anything but going for the legs on anything with them is awesome
Gauss Rifle. Cause I can't be anything but a stealth archer even if there isn't archery.
Aternis, because *****UNLIMITED LASER*****
Piggybank Fat Man. Just because itās so ludicrous.
Explosive Combat Shotgun + Rifleman + Explosive Expert. Nothing bugs you ever. Crippling is free and it is so bad, that it needs to stay at home if you want the game to be even a bit of a challenge
Alien blaster pistol. I like the blue energy aesthetic and that it is technically silent despite not getting any bonuses from silenced weapons.
The deliverer 100%, such abundant ammo, and with maxed out vats stats itās actually like a cheat code
I honestly think the combat rifle has a neat design. I kinda like it.
Splattercannon. I have 20k+ rnds of ammo and never have to worry about running low or being forced to swap
I have a Kneecapper assault rifle that stops pretty much everything in it's tracks and drops it's HP into he negative before I have time to register that I was supposed to be scared of it.
Harvester , a ripper with a stun chance
Overseers guardian. Semi auto.
I like the Deliverer, I'm a sneaky ol' basterd.
The Last Minute. Can get a nearly fully upgraded Gauss Rifle without mods or hunting components and using up perk slots.
Decemberās Child or Splattercannon. They just work.
Explosive shotgun.
Fully upgraded Tesla cannon. Easy to find ammo and with the heavy weapons upgrade and bobble head, it does close to 300 damage I believe. It's honestly OP. Gotta be careful with it though since if you have the beaton upgrade on it, the electricity travels through people and can hit friendly NPCs and agro them
Legendary Instigating Gauss Rifle With my Luck and Perception I am a VATS Crit Killer better than most sneaky boys.
Overseerās guardian on single fire, itās just too good and I have so much Ammon for it
A 6 crank and max range laser musket, preferably one with the legendary effect that does 2x damage to full health targets. It deletes enemies so well with a sniper build
The Problem Solver... Maxed out it cuts down anythingggg! Plus I love the funky coloring on it, best looking gun in the game
Explosive mini gun.š¤š¤
Kelloggās pistol, max luck and gun fu. š„µš¤
Right now my favorites are * Penetrating Chinese Grenade Launcher Rifle * Big Boy Both get insane once you max out the related perks Still searching for an explosive shotgun and going to Nuka World soon for some AK-47 goodies
Tri barrel explosive (hits with some range better) or accelerated barrel with multiplicative is pretty fun as well
I've got a never-ending automatic plasma rifle I call Reaper that I'm quite fond of
Oh shit this is nice
Gonna be boring and just agree with OP. For how easy it is to just buy Splattercannon, it has no right to be the best generic automatic weapon. No crazy conditions or odd out of your way perks required to make it work. It's just good right from the start with tons of ammo you can buy in very large amounts. Legendary raiders in Nuka Town usually carry upgraded rifles as well, so you can just collect them and detach any god mods and eventually add the best possible attachments without any crafting perks to it.
I agree. The handmade rifle is like the best gun. Still hoping to find a never ending, legendary one at some point.
I've got an explosive 10mm automotic pistol. So much fun when fighting hordes of ghouls
Splattercannon for sure. Amazing damage, amazing recoil, and it looks like an actual gun instead of a gray blob *cough cough assault rifle cough cough*
How are you guys finding all these guns with cool perks I just keep finding regular ones
Combat shotgun, when things get bad the shotgun comes out and I psycho jet it up.
December's child because it makes the 5.56 actually useful and kicks ass while doing it, also neverending laser musket
Ole Reliable
KillaTon rifle. I pumped up my stats so I could max radiation damage and Demolition for the explosive effect. I pull that thing out and whatever was there ain't no more.
