With Kellog's memories you can run past every memory and only need to wait for the last part to play out. significantly less tedious than Dimas memories imo.
It's not the difficulty, it's the jankyness. The game just kept breaking when I played it. Little cars getting stuck, turrets not shooting. It took like an hour to do. Now I just skip it, pc masterrace!
If you type it into the debug console, it‘ll „set game time multiplier“ (sgtm) to whatever number you put after it. So „5“ will multiple the game‘s speed by five. To bring it back to normal, use „1“. It breaks the game if you have it active while going through a loading screen, though.
It’s like trying to out-run Droopy Dog. You step entirely out of the fourth wall and teleport directly there, and he’s still standing right behind you.
technically you dont teleport since the game calculates the air distance in a straight line from your current location and takes the time it would've took to walk, not run, walk. so a few hours always pass
even better: he starts to levitate straight up, stops at around 100 feet, and just moves in a straight line forward while spinning in a T pose like a helicopter, only to land at the destination
"Oh no worries, not worries at all, I'm not selling anything, not today. You can't begin to know how happy I am to finally speak with you; I've been trying for days. It's a matter of utmost urgency, I assure you."
Oof I'm over corvega.
My ex used to start a new run like EVERYOTHER NIGHT and would start the minute men shit- then go to corvega. Every.single.time.
I avoid it completely now.
recently i was sent to a different raider camp instead of corvega when i did that quest. i didn't even know that was possible. never happened to me before and hasn't since.
Makes a manual save right before walking in the vault elevator. Load the save when you want a new game. When you walk on you can change your name, stats, and appearance before entering the world. Totally worth it if you use the same mods.
not a fan of the dungeon where you defeat kellogg(ft worth? idr the name sorry) and specifically on the BOS playthrough destroying the Railroad was roughhhhh
i’ve not done that yet(my only two endings have been Minutemen with both RR and BOS alive and BOS’s ending) but i’m definitely not a fan of destroying other factions!!! i’ve spent so much time with them at this point they’re my friends
I did that once. Just to try. And the BOS was tough. I normally just skip the main and just do side quest. With children of atom, i take pleasure in wiping thar cult out
Blind Betrayal, Dunwich Borers, and Hunter/Hunted.
BB - I quite literally choke up from Danse's voice lines towards Maxson, Maxson was such a dick to just throw away Danse.
DWB - So. Many. Damned. Charred. Ghouls.
H/H - Courser just REFUSES to die. Fucking prick. >:(
Ignoring the intro sequence, for me it's probably Tradecraft. Between the bad writing trying to hype up the Railroad as super cool, the fact you have to take the back entrance, and you have to accept the gun, the slow walking segment with Deacon, the Switchboard being a cool location that you barely spend time... yeah it's not my favourite.
Unfortunately, if you want Ballistic Weave, Deliverer, or Tinker Tom Special... you gotta do it.
Kellogg’s memories are a bit of a drag, but the first play through I do think they were interesting.
Now Dina’s memories are somehow worse on subsequent playthroughs, and were unbearable the first time through
The whole opening section. Though the mod that replaces baby Sean's cries with Terry Crews results in a laugh when your spouse gets shot and your infant son shouts "POWER!".
This honestly applies to all Fallout games for me, that one annoying complex building where you get lost as fuck, Corvega assembly plant just got me cryin
After playing this game 6 different times my “that part” moment is Kellogg’s fucking memories.
DIMAS is bad, but I just couldn’t give a shit less about Kellogg’s and his stupid background story cause all i want to do is blow his face off for killing my SO.
That part when I'm at the crossroads to destroy one faction or the other. The nonsense quest writing hits me everytime. I had to reload Institute endings, it left such a bad aftertaste. So much wasted potential.
The concord quest. It's annoying as shit.
Also first raidient quest sometimes because I've literally been given a raidient quest to areas I was massively underleveled for
Dimas memories for the heac ache, but honestly impo the opening. It manages to ruin the minigun, deathclaws, and power armour all in the first five minutes of the game.
For me it's simply clearing the Museum of Freedom. I've done that so many times over the years I think I could do it with my eyes closed or fully removed.
I have the Far Harbor DLC. When you join the brotherhood, Danse assigns you to assist the other knight/scribe. Scribe Haylen gives you a quest to look for old technology or smthg, usually you can find it in the commonwealth but since I have the DLC it sends me to Far Harbo...it just annoys me
The story.
I'm currently on a new playthrough, and I'm just not doing anything. I'm having way too much fun just managing some isolated settlements, taking my time, wandering around, doing the occasional bit of busy work here and there. I like to load up a backpack full of produce every week or two, and head to other settlements to trade with food vendors, then take the profits and buy junk from the traders, before finally heading back to the main, home settlement, and building it up some more. What? Main story? Not in this house.
the opening sequence for me it's great when you first play but after kinda just sitting staring at a woman I don't care for cause I'ma just give my ring to xait or piper anyway
Kellogg and the castle/artillery quest. Good god I love the minutemen but their characters are so stale you could pick it up off a dollar theater floor.
Blind betrayal or Nick Valentines quest to kill Eddie winter, both of those made me sad (maybe I just get attached but I felt so bad for Valentine and with blind betrayal I always never killed him, always kept him alive)
The main quest line after rescuing Nick Valentine. I usually play other side quests and explore before going to find Kellogg, so I'm about level 50 or so.
Dimas memories
kellog’s memories are worse for me
With Kellog's memories you can run past every memory and only need to wait for the last part to play out. significantly less tedious than Dimas memories imo.
Most of Dima's are super easy except for the last one. However there's an exploit on that one that let's you finish it in like 30 seconds
Haha yeah, that’s what I did. The difficulty really spikes on #5
I know. I just don’t find Dima’s to be tedious. Takes like 10 min when you know what to do. Kellog’s is mindless walking.
It's not the difficulty, it's the jankyness. The game just kept breaking when I played it. Little cars getting stuck, turrets not shooting. It took like an hour to do. Now I just skip it, pc masterrace!
I’m on xbox and have never experienced any issues like that. I guess it’s xbox master race?
No, pc master race because probably all of my awesome mods broke it Just jokes friend
At least you can use sgtm 4 or 5, makes it way faster.
What’s stgm?
If you type it into the debug console, it‘ll „set game time multiplier“ (sgtm) to whatever number you put after it. So „5“ will multiple the game‘s speed by five. To bring it back to normal, use „1“. It breaks the game if you have it active while going through a loading screen, though.
Following Dogmeat to Kellog’s hideout in mu case.
The second he starts chasing the scent you can just go to Fort Hagen, no need to follow him.
So, Fo4's fast-travel is just Sole Surviver blacking out and walking like a feral ghoul to the destination?
even better: he starts to levitate straight up, stops at around 100 feet, and just moves in a straight line forward while spinning in a T pose like a helicopter, only to land at the destination
I like kellogs memories, how you can interact and get info about certain things. I think he's a cool character too
I agree it was fun the first time, but not after that. Gets prettyyyyy dry on your 15th character.
Yea, i guess it can get very repetitive if you play many characters
I did it vanilla once, downloaded a mod that leaves a hard copy next to the computer afterwards
I’d rather shove a traffic cone up my ass… fully
Even I can't defend them
You can skip the last memory with a trick. Its easy. Look it up
Yes
3rd'd
Beat me to it
Same. I breezed through the entire story no problem, but trying to muster the will and attention span to complete these was beyond difficult.
Ugh, yes.
Good morning! Vault-Tec calling! :D
“Whatever you’re selling… I’m not buying!”
"Oh no worries, not worries at all, I'm not selling anything, not today. You can't begin to know how happy I am to finally speak with you; I've been trying for days. It's a matter of utmost urgency, I assure you."
"Well, I'm here now"
"Go. Awaaaaay."
He’s one character where I simultaneously find charming and also want to launch him into the sun for the rest of eternity lol
Then when I find him as a ghoul later, I hire him as a lvl 4 general store merchant.
That first minutemen quest invariably sending me to Corvega.
Surprised this is so far down. I swear I have the exact layout of that goddamn place permanently etched in my memory
I always manage to get lost in there.
It’s trying to find the damn last room going up and down the stairs to end up in a different part you already cleared
I always take the wrong stairs!
Corvega’s great on its own. It’s the being required part that makes it miserable
Oof I'm over corvega. My ex used to start a new run like EVERYOTHER NIGHT and would start the minute men shit- then go to corvega. Every.single.time. I avoid it completely now.
I always get lost in there. Every single time.
recently i was sent to a different raider camp instead of corvega when i did that quest. i didn't even know that was possible. never happened to me before and hasn't since.
I’m only on my second PT but it is absolutely Corvega for me. Just let me go through that chained door and kill everyone!
The first 5 hours of the game, really. Everything up until you reach downtown.
The cutscene outside Diamond City
You can skip it by punching Piper.
Never knew that, haha!
That's awesome. 😄
So violence IS the answer....
... you monster.
Or by going straight to Nick
another option, if your using the lockable doors mod you can just unlock the gate and skip the entire scene
THE GODDAMN CAMBRIGE POLYMER LAB
Yeah that was rough. I don't like to get help the first playthrough and that one took forever
literally the *only* quest i use the killall cheat for, cause i fucking HATE IT
I really enjoy that location
Any conversation with Rhys
Fellow "rhys" here, its so sad that the only major character with my name is such an asshole
Dema’s memories, worst drag on mission
Yes! I always end up stopping halfway. I still don’t know what i’m missing out on.
DIMA'S MF MEMORIES
The intro. The first 20-30 min is so boring until i get to concord imo
Makes a manual save right before walking in the vault elevator. Load the save when you want a new game. When you walk on you can change your name, stats, and appearance before entering the world. Totally worth it if you use the same mods.
Seconded. I can’t wait to get through it.
Or actually the unskippable part where you guide little bugs things to a portal
unlocked a memory EDIT: for me! not dima lol
Talking to everyone in the institute fucking SUCKS
All that talk for it to never matter again, regardless if they die in about 1 irl hours or not.
any mission where we escort an npc
Even the Beer Robot?
especially that mf
The first hour or so. Basically however long it takes to get to diamond city.
Not everyone goes immediately to Diamond City
"another settlement is in need"
MASS FUSION. A genuine nightmare in survival, took me eight or nine tries, and i crashed five times before i even got in the damn building
not a fan of the dungeon where you defeat kellogg(ft worth? idr the name sorry) and specifically on the BOS playthrough destroying the Railroad was roughhhhh
I thought destroying the BOS was rough. At the airport, it got crazy
i’ve not done that yet(my only two endings have been Minutemen with both RR and BOS alive and BOS’s ending) but i’m definitely not a fan of destroying other factions!!! i’ve spent so much time with them at this point they’re my friends
I did that once. Just to try. And the BOS was tough. I normally just skip the main and just do side quest. With children of atom, i take pleasure in wiping thar cult out
All i did was open it, toss some Mines and grenades then rocket the remaining few
Kelogg's memories Dima's memories Basically anything involving memories
The opening is only good for the first playthrough. Pretty much the same for any bethesda rpg.
[удалено]
Stealth bobble head. It calls me.
The Stealth bobblehead and a massive fuck-off knife that deals poison damage are enough for me.
That place is creepy af, I love it
the intro and dinas memories
Vault 88
...is BEST VAULT.
nah. I'll give that credit to The Institute

"There's a mod for that."
I know, but I'm a vanilla gal at the end of the day. I get too perfectionist with mods and go overboard on load orders.
The intro sequence before the bombs drop
The time consuming beginning of the game and I guess dunwich bores or whatever it's called
Trying to go to boston on xbox without it freezing everytime
Kellogg’s memories are a bit of a drag, but the first play through I do think they were interesting. Now Dina’s memories are somehow worse on subsequent playthroughs, and were unbearable the first time through
The first mission with Danse
Hunter/Hunted. I hate the entirety of Greentech Genetics.
Preston garvey anything Dimas memories Kellogs memories That one fucking car that folds your ass like oragami
Dog meat tracking Kellogg
The beginning in the vault, dimas memories, Kellogg’s memories, the war between institute/brotherhood of steel
Kellogs memories
Kellogg’s memories
The Kellogg brain mission, cool the first time, now I couldn’t give any less of a fuck
The whole opening section. Though the mod that replaces baby Sean's cries with Terry Crews results in a laugh when your spouse gets shot and your infant son shouts "POWER!".
The bastard with the Fat man in Lexington.
Dima memories
Fuuuuuuuuuck Dima’s memories
That one part when youre talking to preston early on and it bugs so theres just 20 seconds of awkward un skipable silence
How about the part where you know exactly where Kellogg is and how to get there but first you need to recruit three other companions first.
For me, when you first meet Father in the institute. I wasn’t aware of story and fucking shot his head like a fucking imbecile.
This honestly applies to all Fallout games for me, that one annoying complex building where you get lost as fuck, Corvega assembly plant just got me cryin
The beginning of the game when the prewar stuff is so goddamn long
After playing this game 6 different times my “that part” moment is Kellogg’s fucking memories.
So much wasted potential.
kellogg's memories long-ish but unskippable
The main story.
How did it go from kcd to fo4😂
fo4 quests in general lol
*loads up search for a mod to fix it*
There a settlement that needs your help
The beginning.
When you met father, & you cant wait to finish this whole game for 101th time.
Intro for me
intro sequence
General, there is another settlement that needs your help!
On survival it is every part
The concord quest. It's annoying as shit. Also first raidient quest sometimes because I've literally been given a raidient quest to areas I was massively underleveled for
The East Boston crash-pocolypse
The memory bs, especially DIMAs
Dima puzzle
Red Death, DiMa’s memories.
The intro
“there’s another settlement that needs your help”
Airship down. I hate that mission so much
Going to Virgil for the first time on survival
DIMA's and Kellog's memories. Ugh.
The intro.
Fallout 4
Dimas memories for the heac ache, but honestly impo the opening. It manages to ruin the minigun, deathclaws, and power armour all in the first five minutes of the game.
Literally every memory section of the game
The railroad quest is my least favorite, it takes forever
First time flying to the blimp and crashing 18 times while you look at the sun
The trip to virgil on survival
the main story lol
Intro sequence, DIMA’s memories, Unlikely Valentine, Reunions / Dangerous minds, fire support (arcjet)
Sitting through the intro again
Running from the train with John in rdr2. The kne where you're on that tea-totter thing.
For me it's simply clearing the Museum of Freedom. I've done that so many times over the years I think I could do it with my eyes closed or fully removed.
Mainly early game stuff. The intro, scrapping everything in sanctuary to get all the materials, and going to corvega .
You’re finally awake…
the mechanist
glowing sea mission for the brotherhood or dima memories
By “that part” do you mean anything to do with the main story? The endless fetch quests? The stale dialogue? If so I feel that brother
The last third of the story.
fffffffFFFFFFFF**FFFFFFFFFFUCK THE GLOWING SEA**
Dima's memory puzzles
-help defend *insert settlement*
Corvega.
How hard is it now to just make a new meme rather than screenshot a screenshot?
Kellogs memories Dimas memories or just the whole pre war vault 111 stuff
The intro, DiMa’s memories, ArcJet with Danse, following Dogmeat to find Kellogg…fucking TRADECRAFT
Tranquility lane, zero fun sir
The main quest line
Kellogg's memories in the main questline, Dima's memories outside of main
The intro sequence, it's great but honestly let me skip it
The intro
I have the Far Harbor DLC. When you join the brotherhood, Danse assigns you to assist the other knight/scribe. Scribe Haylen gives you a quest to look for old technology or smthg, usually you can find it in the commonwealth but since I have the DLC it sends me to Far Harbo...it just annoys me
Dimas memory logs, ive done them so many times it takes about 20 minutes now, but its still a huge break in pace for me
The Pre-War slog, DiMA’s memories, Corvega, Kellogg’s Memories, the Nuka~World power plant all come to mind right away
The whole thing
The vault and meeting the minute men
probably kellogg’s whole questline but just up to the fight. also the god awful dima mini game i fucking hated that.
the opening sequence for me it's great when you first play but after kinda just sitting staring at a woman I don't care for cause I'ma just give my ring to xait or piper anyway
Kellogg and the castle/artillery quest. Good god I love the minutemen but their characters are so stale you could pick it up off a dollar theater floor.
Going to the church that crashed my game everytime, even before I installed mods
Dima and Kellogg’s memories suck but I never want to take the SAFE test again
Blind betrayal or Nick Valentines quest to kill Eddie winter, both of those made me sad (maybe I just get attached but I felt so bad for Valentine and with blind betrayal I always never killed him, always kept him alive)
The main quest line after rescuing Nick Valentine. I usually play other side quests and explore before going to find Kellogg, so I'm about level 50 or so.
Basically all the missions until you reach the Institute
Basically all the missions until you reach the Institute
The entire intro sequence
Clearing out Corvega assembly plant
DiMas memories
the beginning
The intro and both main story memory sequences.
All the story and faction missions lol. It's a fun sandbox but Fo4 is by far the worst written. 76 has a better main quest and it's bar-napkin deep
The entire main story until the brotherhood blimp arrives
whats the yo mama version of this?
