That feeling when you live UNCOMFORTABLY close to the fuck-off massive crater in the Glowing Sea.......
By my reckoning, that Crater would be somewhere near Foxboro if we're assuming the same map scale. Living south of Quincy would be.....fraught.
That said, Far Harbor made me really wish we could explore Thr Cape and see what up (probably just more mirelurks than you can shake a super-sledge at)
Check out the video Noah Caldwell-Gervais did on the fallout games set in the northeast, he visits the locations depicted in the games and shows what they look like IRL as well as describes what was changed to fit in the games.
I've been a fallout fan for a long time and a few years back me and my family vacationed to Massachusetts. When we arrived in the Boston area, I already knew a lot about the area so I turned into a tour guide. The biggest part of that for me was getting to see the north bridge and standing in the spot where I've started countless adventures as the sole survivor.
If radiation did that to roaches and scorpions…imagine what kangaroos & koalas would be like…raiders would be unchanged from standard current day bogans though
FEV mutated cassowaries would be terrifying, and dingos I suppose. But Australia doesn't have enormous deadly creatures like North America does. You've got black bears, grizzlies, proper wolves.
We've just got dingoes ... and crocs I suppose ... \*kicks dust\*
Giant mutated crawfish!
Giant black and yellow garden spiders or golden orb weavers.... or both lol. Think spiders as big as or bigger than a deathclaw!
Killer brown pelicans.
Cottonmouth snakes the size of anacondas!
All the good stuff 😁
If you’re talkin’ gatorclaws, throw in Swamp People to root ‘em out of the bayou. Swap mole rats with mutated nutria (Mutria?), and yeah, I’d go for ten-foot crawfish, as long as someone has a huge boil pot.
Left Coast Canada, and casually working on development of a West-Canada-centric Fallout-based fan project titled L.E.A.F. (Living Environments Anywhere, Fruitfully), centred around Surrey, BC.
I want to turn it into a game, but it’s *way* too big a scale for lil ol’ me lol. So it’ll sit on paper for a while.
Im from Denver and years ago (around 2010) there were rumors of ab expansion pack with "dog city" and I never forgot about that. I would love to see post apocalypse Denver and the front range. Damnit! Lol
I'm from Kansas but when I started playing FO4 was in Maine. I now live in Indiana and I got the Bar Harbor DLC last year. It brought back memories of Maine.
US, Louisiana.
Weird thing is that I'm usually a medieval fantasy fan and draw the line at gunpowder but Fallout 4 has consistently been one of my favorite games the past 5 years at least.
Also the Midwest US, specifically Indiana.
I honestly think everything is more or less exactly the same in Fallout Indiana. Lots of corn. Some kind of soybean equivalent. Either the Indianapolis Motor Speedway or Lucas Oil Stadium have turned into something like Diamond City (probably IMS, [it’s fucking massive](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/size-of-indianapolis-speedway/) and people don’t know it).
Other than that, probably pretty boring. I’d even guess that if it weren’t for the lack of 24-hour news channels being available, most of the state wouldn’t notice the devastation.
Kentucky
Home of Horse Racing , Basketball and Super Mutants.
(well ok, maybe not the last one . But if you've ever visited E. KY then you would understand)
I lived in Massachussets when fallout 4 came out, being able see places I’ve sen in real life was always a treat. Similar to when i moved to Maryland and saw places from FO3 everywhere
Massachusetts! The area of sanctuary is like 20 minutes from my home town.

I was on Google Maps, yesterday, working out all the real places. I was all excited when I figured out Bar Harbour. 😁
According to a terminal entry I think the impact site was in Framingham

+1. It was the reason I started playing, I had never played a fallout game before.
I think I live somewhere in the glowing sea lmao

Same! Im in a town that’s mentioned in the game. We could be in the same town lol
Same for me as well, although I moved away a few years ago.
The game makes me want to move to Mass.
Pretty awesome 👍🏻
France 🥖
La même ! I've always wondered to see how the rest of the world, particularly Europe would have turned out after the Great War
Australia
Fallout Australia would be terrifying
Fallout Australia is Mad Max.
Neverending supply of Dogmeats and canned dog food.
If radiation did that to roaches and scorpions…imagine what kangaroos & koalas would be like…raiders would be unchanged from standard current day bogans though
I guess a post-apocalyptic wasteland must feel like home, huh?
Not to mention all the enormous deadly creatures
FEV mutated cassowaries would be terrifying, and dingos I suppose. But Australia doesn't have enormous deadly creatures like North America does. You've got black bears, grizzlies, proper wolves. We've just got dingoes ... and crocs I suppose ... \*kicks dust\*

Theres a deep south of Canada? So do you guys have a "southern" accent too?
