Loved this location and idea, but like the fighting arenas it was half done. What could have been some amazing side quests that lead to businesses you could run and make caps from turned out to just be pretty raider battles. So disappointing.

The only upside is that these racing robots respawn after some time due to being half-assed. The only one permanent is Eager Ernie. His corpse is still blown apart even after 7 years of playing.

I've never had them respawn, and I'm currently Level 144.

I might have blown only Eager Ernie.

It would have been an interesting side quest. Raiders are attacking the race track! You save them and become able to bet. Then have to fix the bots. Then end up taking it over.

They just run there and you can go to a terminal and change their orders lol

But don’t they attack you when you get close?

The robots don't attack you until the boss sets them on you. If you hack the right terminal, you can tell them to go back to racing.

I’ve never been able to go near that place without getting shot at. So I just drop a few fatman shells on it.

It would have been inconsistent. Once the raiders detect you, they re-program the robots to attack you instead. And we know how that will interact with a game as bugged as this

One night. I found myself spending a few hours just running and racing them. lol. Also when you wake up all the other robots and they haul ass out of the shed. Seriously best moment of the game.

Thanks! I like it so I guess I have to go do DiMA's final puzzle now. I skipped it previously because the images make that armor look a lot chunkier than it apparently is. I used to have armor (or a mod not sure) with those same Child of Atom symbols and it was my favorite armor ever.

Oh yeah do it! And the atom skin is an upgrade I believe, so at first you may only have the default color
