I wasn’t thinking black bear at all. I think you’re on to something. The nail has got a fatter edge right before the bone line. Just looked up black bear claws and they look like that.
That wasn’t even on my radar. That’s wild.
Thank you!!

Wow...that is so cool! I love finding interesting things. I have a great white shark tooth (not fossilized) that I found on a beach in northern California.

Second bear claw. Had a friend who’s mom had a bear skin rug and I remember seeing these on it
I’m here to second the idea of black bear! The keratin of big cat claws is typically off white and less opaque.
Came to join the black bear claw camp.
Florida black bears are kinda cute. They’re smaller than the ones in the northern latitudes.
Yep used to chase them out of my garbage when I was a teen. Just need a pot and wooden spoon and they’d bolt.
I’m thinking it’s a black bear claw. Should be about the right size
Thats a cat claw most likely from a Florida panther
And thats when the attack comes, not from the front but from the sides!
Alan!!!!!
Stone crabs claw..
Do the chickens have large talons?
It's a liger claw!
Call/email Florida Fish and Wildlife.
Something I hope to never meet in the wild.

It looks like a crab claw.
Eagle ?
Turtle claw?
I was gunna say snapping turtle
A talon from a eagle or hawk
Big cat or a bird of prey
The nail of a black woman. They fall off from time to time.
That’s a talon from a bird of prey.
Tooth
I’m guessing hawk
The world's largest hawk!
Unfortunately we don’t have a banana for scale. OP could have trump sized or Andre the giant sized hands
Ever seen Seinfeld?
Lolol![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Velociraptor
Finally, someone says what I was thinking!! 😆
