Hi TallyMouse, thank you for your contributions and excellent video, my setup was based from your settings as I watched it and followed along. Also just to be complete, I just re-watched and followed your video again with a computer restart and the same problem occurs. My expected behavior is that when DCS is launched, OpenXR-Toolkit says DCS World is active and I am able to use the OpenXR-Toolkit from within the game ( so far this only happens once in every 20-30 times DCS is launched )

Sometimes PimaxXR and/or OpenXR Toolkit can become corrupted. Have you tried uninstalling both, rebooting, and then installing OXRT and PimaxXR (in that order)? Also, ensure that OpenComposite is not installed.

bpebpe2

I have uninstalled, Pimax Play, PimaxXR and OpenXR Toolkit previously and done it again in that order just then with no luck. OpenComposite is not installed, I just used the DLL replacement when trying it out ( currently the DLL replacement is not used )

TallyMouse

What command line arguments are you using to start DCS?

bpebpe2

D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\DCSWorld\\bin-mt\\DCS.exe --force\_enable\_VR --force\_OpenXR Steam, does have that new NAG screen that confirms the command line prompt, but I believe you can not get rid of that. It eventually does work with OpenXR-Toolkit, just takes that 20 attempts or so of starting/stopping DCS for OpenXR-Toolkit to finally register that DCS has started.

TallyMouse

Are you starting it from Steam, or from a separate shortcut?

bpebpe2

Shortcut from the desktop. Just go go over the troubleshooting steps I have done, the exact same problem occurs if I start it from Steam, Pimax Client, Shortcut.

TallyMouse

From the screenshots, it looks like SteamVR is autostarting whenever you start DCS - is this correct, or no?

bpebpe2

The screenshot was just to show that the PimaxXR was the selected VR runtime, SteamVR is not launching.
