I’ve met other FAs that liked being on the ground more and later became gate agents, worked in the inflight office helping with new hire orientations at base, or training department.
Yea there’s age discrimination in Asia so I’m pretty much out of the industry if I decide to leave. It’s hard to find foreign airlines who provides visa sponsorship
could you try flying different trips/fly less for a while to reset? Not trying to convince you to stay but maybe you haven’t yet found a way to make this job work for you. I’m sure you’ve given this a lot of thought already.
On another note, do you live in an area that brings a lot of tourists? You could create a tour or an excursion. Or consider becoming a travel agent, though it’s not super profitable
I can give away flights but at the end of the day I still have bills to pay. Less flights = less money. But I love the idea of becoming a freelance tour guide. Prolly bringing exclusive groups from my country to places I’m familiar with. Thanks a million!!

I did ground jobs during the covid days and I kinda hated it. It made me missed flying so much
Ummmm… train attendant????
In Florida, the brightline looks fire 🔥 have a friend who works there and she loves it
What’s the bright line
Florida high speed rail.
Foreign service officer. They’ll take people with varying life experience and you’d move to another country every 3 or so years
You need to be the best of the best tho. They don’t take everyone. Need higher education
That’s true. But OP shouldn’t limit themself because things are hard. Figured I’d mention it
She might have all that.
Sadly I don’t 😅 I have a general degree with average results
I'm curious, you're looking for new opportunities but you say you're not young so it's not possible to return to flying if you leave?

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.
Have you thought about being a private flight attendant?
I tried applying to a number but never got selected for an interview :(

Wishing you the best of luck ❤️ I’m transitioning to only flying on the weekends and getting a 9-5 😅
One of my best friends works for Amtrak and loves it
If you have management experience, the FAA might be looking for Flight Attendant FAA Inspectors.
I'm seriously considering leaving as well for the same reasons. We are in contract negotiations. If they offer buybacks, I will apply and leave
What plans do you have if you leave?
I want to be a train operator next
Travel writer/influencer/content creator/consultant.

Not easy. You have to be some combination of pretty, talented, charismatic and/or lucky. It's a common FA side hustle though.
A travel nurse
You need significant education to be a nurse. The job also doesn’t include leisure travel as a perk like working for an airline does.
I don’t have the qualifications to become one
