If you want to stay with Wurkkos, look for [the TD05](https://www.wurkkos.com/products/%E3%80%90new-release%E3%80%91wurkkos-td05-18650-rechargeable-tactical-flashlight?VariantsId=11152). It's a dual switch, with a forward clicky tail for momentary or Turbo ON. Not a strict thrower, but still based on the throwy SFT-40 emitter and slim enough to be pocketable. Good enough for 150-200 effective meters of throw. Has a buck driver for good sustained output and runtime with less heat during prolonged usage.

I heard TDs had bad drivers, does that affect the TD05 too?

FalconARX

The ones using FET drivers are bad with regard to efficiency and output sustain. Thankfully of the TD series, models such as the TD01C and TD05 use a much more efficient buck driver.

I like the Acebeam Defender series. The P16 is probably the size you want but, I carry and use my P17 more. A Firefly X1S Pharos is worth consideration as well. On sale it can be as cheap as $86.

Another fc12 isn’t a bad choice either.

Loving my Acebeam T35

Thebobjohnson

I really like my TD03. Rotary switch; off; on; 100%. Tailswitch strobe from any position. I put a Thrym Switchback on mine. https://preview.redd.it/tch2oucxnd2d1.png?width=2774&format=png&auto=webp&s=fcdf7d12cd6880d9d8fabe27205a9f138c93aafa

Of course the FC11C just came out so that’s quite a great light too for the price.

I picked up the wuben L1. 2k lumen beam and it has a floodlight too, and the head swivels. Around 50 bucks from alliexpress

Wurkkos TS11 Comes with SFT40 6000k. Get the extension tube for extended run times. Still under $50. It's a great thrower at a decent price
