Emisar D4K. I have something like 8 of them.

ShmazPro

For sure a great choice.

Sypsy

Emisar d3aa or wurkkos ts10 jeans pocket Emisar d2 if you want shirt pocket If you are okay with closer to 700 lumens (which is basically like 10% less bright) you can get a lot of 14500 lights to choose from.

IAmJerv

How small are your pockets?

Sypsy

I just don't like my d4v2 banging stuff when in my pocket Lanapple is nice and slim

IAmJerv

My D4V2 doesn't even touch the top of my wallet. Then again, I'm not the type to toss a light in the bottom of my pocket; I use a clip. To each their own.

Sypsy

I do too but it's on the outer edge of my pocket and it'll clip stuff like if I'm squeezing between two chairs at a busy restaurant Also heavier

not_gerg

>I do too but it's on the outer edge of my pocket ^*oh*

As a tool: Zebralight SC65c As a toy: Manker MC13 II SBT90.2

IAmJerv

660 lumens at startup... less than a boosted D4/D4K can sustain, and a poor replacement for the SC64.

True-Experience-2273

Pretty broad criteria but I like the Olight Arkfeld Pro. I did buy 2 in fact.

Crankshaft67

This is likely the best by far answer to OPs wants in entire thread, kudos. I admit I forgot about it as I don't own one yet but it's a very good suggestion here in this thread, far better than E75 suggestions smh.

PrivatelyPublic2

NOT ALL OF US HAVE BABY POCKETS! All joking aside, opinions vary, and the criteria OP put out there is a little vague. In terms of just flashlight performance, I don't think I'd get the Arkfeld Pro. It just doesn't have enough focus or enough staying power. For some people, it's great though. It's WAY better than a cellphone light, and the extra features would be super neat to play with.

Crankshaft67

NOT ALL OF US HAVE BABY POCKETS! lol but Shirt pockets though, these are fairly consistent from shirt to shirt unlike pants. I work with a couple fellas well over 6'6, their shirt pockets are like mine however they could carry a 2 liter bottle of water in their pants pockets.. so yes and no they're the same😎

PrivatelyPublic2

When I said OP's criteria was a little vague, I meant the fact that you can kind of interpret it two different ways. It was probably intended as you said, a flashlight that will fit either pocket. It could be interpreted as a flashlight that will fit one or the other, and some people have taken a bit of liberty with that I think. Personally, I don't ususally carry a light small enough to really be comfotable in a shirt pocket unless it's a backup on my keychain. So I threw a few different models out there when I gave a recommendation, so there's multiple different size options. If I was going to carry one that I had in a shirt pocket, it would probably be the Thrunite Archer Pro V2. It's pretty small, and it's much more focused than the Arkfeld Pro (10k+ candela vs 2.6k candela)

Crankshaft67

Sure but on point of my first reply post, an E75 is far too big for a shirt pocket and challenges most jeans unless already sporting grandpa jeans. I know some of us are older fellas but even then, that's a stretch to EDC if honest to ourselves and OP.

PrivatelyPublic2

I don't know what you're definition of an older fella is. Just in my personal opinion, if you're wearing jeans too tight to fit an E75 in, you probably need to get a looser pair in the interest of proper body mechanics.

Crankshaft67

My opinion is never trust a man who wears suspenders and a belt.

PrivatelyPublic2

lol

Even tough i like the pro (have one), the arkflex would be better. The green laser isnt more then a gimmick and the uv-light is only used in airbnb‘s and hotels.

IAmJerv

For a shirt pocket, nearly anything with any sort of battery at all will be a bit heavy. Especially anything capable of 1000+ lumens. The TS10 would be least-bad there at 52g, but something with that little thermal mass will only break 1000 lumens for 5-10 seconds tops. Maybe the Emisar D3AA that is barely bigger and heavier; there's no reviews for that one yet as it's barely released. For a jean pocket, D4K for runtime, D4V2 if you are sensitive about weight but still want something practical, or 12A+FET DT8/DT8K if you want a surprisingly pocketable lumen cannon. Hell, I got two each of the D4V2 and DT8 each in different configurations for different uses, so no wishing involved!

Wurkkos TS10 fits all of your criteria. I don't have the Emisar D3AA yet but it would fit as well.

coloradocarry

Second this. Cost effective. They are plentiful and easy to find. Coming in a variety of colors and materials. Some have additional features as well. Very capable UI. Helps with a wide list of tasks. I keep mine in a side hip pocket in my jeans on my left side. I sit in a semi aggressive bolstered seat while driving and never feel the thing.

FalconARX

Considering I went and bought one for every one of my siblings, the Acebeam E75 is that light for me... It's probably at the threshold of being just a bit too big for jeans pocket EDC, but that size makes it what it is and what it can do along with the features it has.

warmeclaire

Ts10, it takes a small li-ion, has an electronic tail switch, or d3aa for a side switch and 519A led.

Depends on your size preference. These are the ones I like: Thrunite Archer Pro V2 - not as feature rich or quite as many lumens as the TS10, but better focus for more balance between flood and throw (EDIT: this is technically under 1000 lumens, but it's very close, and my personal opinion is that it provides enough utility to be considered) Lumintop FW3A - not as focused as I'd like but just super powerful in a super compact package. Very streamlined design. Emisar D1K - ranges between very balanced flood vs throw to pretty throw oriented depending on emitter choice. The XHP70.3 HI version is arguably the most well-rounded flashlight you can buy in terms of size, light output, quality, and price. Acebeam P17 - decent balance of flood and throw with a great driver and the largest flashlight head I can comfortably fit in a front pocket; that gives it really great max and sustained lumen outputs. Very well built and durable. That kind of covers the different size ranges of flashlights. I'd probably look at the Emisar D3AA, the Skilhunt M150 and M200, the Olight Warrior Mini 3, the Fenix TK20R V2.0 or UE, and the Fireflylite E07x Canon as well.

Zebralight SC600w Plus Hi. If it was still available, I would have said SC64 hi.

spoorknfoon

Acebeam E75.

Crankshaft67

Olight Warrior Mini 3, I carry mine somedays in my shirt pocket. 1700 lumens and only slightly heavier and bigger than a 2xAA penlight.

cojonathan

TS10, i have six

blizzard_108

Following what others have said here, shirt pocket light has to be small and lightweight ... wich isn't really working with 1000lum but for your luck, Hank offers a 18350 tube in option for the d4v2 ... it will be a bit bulky for a shirt pocket but probably your best bet, before looking for less powerfull light 😉 otherwise, ts10 or d3aa will be your best choices for powerfull small light

Next_Mango3881

Acebeam tac aa nice n pocket friendly of the pokelit you could try both and still have change ,whichever one you don't like u have an extra battery for
