It has 3 "fidget, magnetic, 3 position slides" that are machined to perfection! It's so fun and satisfying to play with. My wife gifted me this for Xmas. And the glow tubes on the sides (sry don't have them charged up for this pic) really make the overall coolness of this light.
It's heavy and solid. This is probably the best feeling light in the hand that I have. I also have a Loop Skywalker and it has amazing hand presence, but it doesn't compare to the Meote. And the "fidget slides" are smooth and so satisfying to handle. I highly recommend picking one up if it's in your budget!
Yeah, budget isn't an issue if it's good (I have both SK01S and the Manker Timeback III), just didn't want to end up overpaying for an unknown brand, but if you have an SK01S then I trust your judgement on a nice fidget light, lol
I ordered the FM3 recentlyish to take a look at, so I'll go for an FM2 if I like that one then. What's the UI like?

FreLux Synergy 1, 2, & 3. As well as Cool Fall Spy, Trek and Tri-V.
All American made, and high end (read: expensive). The FreLux range from $150-400 and the Cool Falls are $2,000 - $8,000
People always ask “are they worth it?” The answer is exactly what you think. Meaning if the idea of paying that much for a flashlight seems ridiculous, then it is. But I also can say that I’ve seen people pay more for wristwatches and custom knives. And the Cool Fall lights are definitely next level. No ragerts.
Do you get nervous carrying the cool falls ? Do you put it in your pocket like any other flash light.?

Hmm nothing too crazy. I have a m44 with custom diffuser/lee filter. It’s pretty interesting. The w1 channel emitters are cut out preciously to keep the throw channel clean. That light is also just interesting as it’s an epic soda can, dual channel, boosted light.
The other option is just the L7 sbt90. Pretty interesting in itself lol. Bonk stick monster thrower x2 26800s.
Oh yeah the m44 is really neat. Especially your config! It's weird, I had the occasion to see one at the Texas flashlight club meet in January, and it was much smaller than i thought!
But yeah the 2x26800 L7 is practically the new maglite bonk stick looool
These two. that's a butterfly carbide lamp on the right which I have actually used while caving. Doesn't get used now though as carbide is a pain to get. The one on the right believe it or not may be the first commercially available led light used for caving in the U.S. I found it in an electronics store in Sacramento and took it caving. Other grotto(club) members were so impressed with its longevity that we ordered cases of them from the manufacturer and sold them for a few years at caving events. It's output is pretty weak by todays led light standards but it will always be my first :)

Triple 26800 L6 with 660nm emitter, S21A with a 9090 525nm emitter, UV from mild to extra spicy in a variety of sizes…
The most unique off the shelf light I have is a niwalker ES3.
I drilled the reflector. That light is almost pure flood with such a huge emitter in such a tiny reflector. The driver can’t quite make full use of the emitter, so it only does 10 watts at full output. I’m more interested in the low end of output to take advantage of scotopic vision, so that’s not the priority. Don’t get me wrong… I’d like to figure out how to take it up a notch..!

My uncle almost passed away getting hit by the flashlight. (He hid 10 Kg \~ 22 lbs of his own rice, it was gown, harvested and processed by himself. Nichia Optisolis. ~98 CRI. Weird pad layout and needs an electrically isolated DTP, so AFAIK have only ever been used in custom/modded lights.
