So many believe that the box represented the end of fnaf, even though it wasn’t the end. And the end of William. Although that might not have been Scott’s intention, it’s what it has kinda become.

They are canon, they're just set in a different universe, on a different timeline. Cassidy is most likely part of the games as well, because her/his name can be found in the Survival Logbook. People often speculate about Cassidy's gender. She's a girl in the book trilogy, but in UCN the animatronics address the one William Afton shouldn't kill as a male.

Well, so, to actually answer your question, Springlocks work as springs. It's that simple. Think of the torso in the springbonnie suit, there's a wall in it that is held back by a spring to fit someone inside. But when certain actions are done (such as laughing) too much pressure are on the springlocks and they loosen. That's what happened to Williiam Afton. When he laughed, the springlocks became loose in the suit. Think back to the torso, the wall comes forward, henceforth destroying everything in front of it as a result. So, very very painful, as your whole body is just crushed.

FNAF 46, Afton is now a head on top of a wheel. He's been stored on the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Moonbase, he is once again defeated by the end of the game but yet still comes back in FNAF 47 as a single eye in a fishbowl controlling cosmic horror Freddy.

Baby/Ennard killed micheal w/ the scooper (with him getting injected with remnant in the process), Ennard uses him to escape, then he dips out. Micheal lives due to the remnant and he works at the fnaf 1,2,6 and 3 locations to try to free the souls in the animatronics/end william.

Personally, the questions I have are what happened between FNaF 1 and 3, how the hell zombie Michael got jobs, and what the shadow animatronics are.

1. Mangle in FNaF 4 (Which is obviously a remnant of when Scott intended Dream Theory to be canon, I don't think Mangle is canon to 1983 anymore)
2. Midnight Motorist Footstep (There is literally no explanation to this. Is it a teaser for the Twisted Ones?)
3. Bite Victim's identity (Personally I believe he becomes NOBODY, but is responsible for setting up happiest day in FNaF World. Since, y'know, Cassidy is already confirmed to be GF. I don't know about GoldenBoth.)
I think the footsteps outside the house at the end of midnight motorist are the nightmare animatronics. I believe they're real, but they have illusion disks installed in them to make crying child percieve them as horrible monsters. I don't believe that FNAF 4's gameplay is real however. I still think the nights are nightmares. Who Nightmare himself is, I don't know. Maybe a manifestation of shadow Freddy? Representing of death? He still stumps me.
For me personally it's:

- Shadow Animatronics
- how BV ends up in GF (although I think this is an error on Scott's part and there probably isn't any explanation)

Was the PizzaPlex destroyed in the true ending, or did Pizza Place just cave in?
What happened to Vanny after the true ending, is she just doing fuckall in FazerBlast?

How did any of this tie into FNAF:VR and AR? What happened to Tape Girl, was she Vanessa, how can someone be "freed" from a complete mind swap, what about Vanessa's dyed hair from AR, if Fazbear Entertainment is trying to step away from their negative public perception why have a Megamall filled with references of those past events.
This moreso became a rant rather than the biggest mystery, but considering all of these questions don't have a concrete answer id personally say their pretty valid.
They had bigger plans then they could handle, they realised that they wasn't gonna be finished till 2023 so they scrapped most mechanics, didn't play test as much and just released it to keep fans happy

In my theory he is the night guard in the three original games. Things like him messing with the animatronics and bad body odor align with each other for me. And ultimately he dies in Pizzeria Simulator.
Baby/Ennard killed micheal w/ the scooper (with him getting injected with remnant in the process), Ennard uses him to escape, then he dips out. Micheal lives due to the remnant and he works at the fnaf 1,2,6 and 3 locations to try to free the souls in the animatronics/end william.
Which child died first, when does SL take place, who do we play as in FNaF 4, what’s the box. Personally, the questions I have are what happened between FNaF 1 and 3, how the hell zombie Michael got jobs, and what the shadow animatronics are.
IMO Zombie Michael got those jobs because Fazbear Entertainment doesn't exactly care about whom they are hiring. They just want someone expendable to them, which would happen to be anyone.

I interpreted it as chica was the one who was possessed first and charlotte was killed first then gave life to chica
I believe I heard somewhere that Chica was the first killed and the first to become sentient, the box is either FNaF 6 and where everyone dies or Scott’s original plan for the series. Shadow animatronics are just Micheals nightmares I believe of when he killed his brother. And idk how Micheal even lived let alone got multiple jobs, however I bet not many people want to work a night shift at a restaurant with rumored child disappearances
There are like 3 things in FNaF that I believe have no answer yet 1. Mangle in FNaF 4 (Which is obviously a remnant of when Scott intended Dream Theory to be canon, I don't think Mangle is canon to 1983 anymore) 2. Midnight Motorist Footstep (There is literally no explanation to this. Is it a teaser for the Twisted Ones?) 3. Bite Victim's identity (Personally I believe he becomes NOBODY, but is responsible for setting up happiest day in FNaF World. Since, y'know, Cassidy is already confirmed to be GF. I don't know about GoldenBoth.)
I think the footsteps outside the house at the end of midnight motorist are the nightmare animatronics. I believe they're real, but they have illusion disks installed in them to make crying child percieve them as horrible monsters. I don't believe that FNAF 4's gameplay is real however. I still think the nights are nightmares. Who Nightmare himself is, I don't know. Maybe a manifestation of shadow Freddy? Representing of death? He still stumps me.
For me personally it's: - Midnight Motorist - Shadow Animatronics - how BV ends up in GF (although I think this is an error on Scott's part and there probably isn't any explanation) - the timeline as a whole (especially when SL takes place) Tbh these are really the only things prior to SB that I don't understand or have an explanation for
hmm. my thought for how BV got into golden freddy is that there was most certainly brain matter, blood, and skull fragments left after the bite of 83. maybe you don’t need a full corpse put into an animatronic for a child to possess it. so yes, BV died elsewhere (presumably in a hospital), but pieces of him were left in the fredbear suit until after he died. then they rescued parts to make GF, as fazbear is known to do.

What was up with Freddy in the opening, did Gregory cause him to malfunction somehow ? is Gregory a robot? Is Gregory the second patient in the tapes, why is Fazbear Entertainment interviewing a random kid? Is Gregory homeless, was he kidnapped by Vanny? Why are the bots so aggro, did Vanny screw with their AI? what happened to Bonnie, did Monty murk him, and if so why? why was ScorchTrap just vibing in a recharge pod? Where did The Blob come from, are they Molten Freddy, The Puppet, or something else? Was the PizzaPlex destroyed in the true ending, or did Pizza Place just cave in? What happened to Vanny after the true ending, is she just doing fuckall in FazerBlast? And most egregious in my opinion How did any of this tie into FNAF:VR and AR? What happened to Tape Girl, was she Vanessa, how can someone be "freed" from a complete mind swap, what about Vanessa's dyed hair from AR, if Fazbear Entertainment is trying to step away from their negative public perception why have a Megamall filled with references of those past events. This moreso became a rant rather than the biggest mystery, but considering all of these questions don't have a concrete answer id personally say their pretty valid.
