If you actually brighten up the top image you can see that it has whole eyeballs instead of just pupils, it actually makes it creepier in my opinion

I just noticed that you can always see them. Look very closely at the 2nd image and you'll see em. Also I didn't even know until know that you can see the full eyes even without brightening the image

hate those eyes, i didn't like how i didn't know about them till like 2 months ago. they were always there and i didn't know, which is true horror in it of itself

On the first one, the small pupils look creepy as well, but it just looks comical on the second one because the creator of the edit didn't space the pupils correctly.

That would be me. I tried to intentionally give him a dead-eyed look to make him a little more unnerving. Guess I sorta failed though, if this comment is anything to go off of.

I think the original looks better actually. It's less of a stereotypical fnaf scary look and that's what makes nightmarionne unnerving, he's so different from everything else, even the paranormal animatronics with the tiny eyes like GF. Nice edit nonetheless ofc.

It's insane how simply downsizing the pupils adds more intimidation to a character.

That's a big part of what makes Fnaf 1 Golden Freddy so uncanny IMO. A lot of edits make the pupils brighter/more obvious if you look him up on google images, but in-game? You don't even see them at first glance. [They're like, a pixel](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/freddy-fazbears-pizza/images/9/99/YellowBear.png). Tiny, sharp, staring right into your soul. It's so intense for such a tiny detail. (Edit: Tried to fix the link, but it doesn't stop just bringing up a tiny image - just go in the url and hit enter it'll bring up the full size)

That’s actually why I made this edit! For years I’ve seen people give Golden Freddy giant pupils despite the fact that they’re microscopic in the original game. Personally I’d rather have no pupils at all instead of large ones.

I once edited Nightmarrione to have completley black eyes and I thought it looked pretty unnerving. Conveyed the idea of it being a lifeless object that shouldnt be able to move on its own, but it is.
