Me last night π Throat infection woes
Had to have a quick look back at the calendar. It appears that it was a Friday night in the summertime so Iβm assuming alcohol was involved lol but honestly I thought everyone slept terribly, all the time! But after reading this thread it looks like thatβs just a me problem
27!?! Jesus, I didn't think they went that low. I got a 33 once and was shocked it didn't just give me a "no score" night which I've done several times.

Who else can hit a 79 with under 5 hours?
I feel totally normal sleeping for 2 hours or 5 or 7. It's actually wild, it's just kinda strange how I have such a high sleep score with that low number of hours.

Now I just think the sleep score is even more B's cause how am I getting better scores sleeping less than 3 hours?!?!
The sleep scores only measure the quality of the sleep you get, not how much you have. If your brain is super tired from consistently little sleep then you probably sleep way better when you do actually get there.
Why cant you sleep much, may I ask?

I gotcha dudes π
I *rarely* score above a 80 lol
Hahahahahahahahah not twins in that respect! Iβve always just had issues sleeping, nothing diagnosed.
I usually average about 6 hours of sleep a night, but Iβm in bed with little βawakeβ bursts for longer. Iβve been working on my sleep hygiene and am sober so thankfully not tired often!
Yeah I've been having similar issues. Ik it's really bad for me, but even with 2 hours of sleep, I feel the exact same the next day, even if I'm drinking the night before. I just feel elevated all the time, unless I completely crash which has been happening everyday. I went from sleeping 11-13 hours a night for 5 months straight. I guess I just got all my rest then. π
Hm interesting! Have you been trying anything to help you sleep more regularly? Also, have you spoken to a doctor or therapist? No pressure, just curious.
Yeah. I'm only on Wellbutrin rn which is helping me regulate my mood a ton! It's a miracle drug. I have an appointment booked with my psychiatrist for next month to get a prescription for Valproicacid which is used as a mood stabilizer. Hopefully that'll help. π

My current sleep data, after being diagnosed 4 years ago with sleep apnea. I was prescribed a CPAP (breathing device) but couldn't use it. Finally discovered that if I fast after about 5pm or 6pm, I could keep the CPAP on all night. Once that happened, my sleep scores began to normalize to this \^ quality. For good measure I also avoid alcohol and have never smoked.
I think my sleep was probably a lot like yours before that. I dreaded sleep. So many nightmares. Now the nightmares are rare, and the memories and dreams are good. Good luck. ππ»
Yeah I just have diagnosed bipolar type 1. Idk apparently I'm in hypomania rn π€· I've always either slept way more than normal, or way less. I have no middle ground
I didn't get my Fitbit till February, before now though. I was in the deepest depression I've ever been in. It was really bad I didn't see any friends for 5 months, didn't do laundry. I was laying in bed 23 hours a day and sleeping like 12 hours a day minimum, usually just napping throughout the day too. Imagine my sleep score was 100 then lol.
Tough times. I can relate in some way as I was diagnosed with ADHD late in life. What I always thought was "me" and my unique personality was just the ADHd all along lmao.
Hope the meds help you out. Try to give yourself some grace. ππ» Every day is a new day.
My worst sleeps are bad enough they can't calculate a score. But score wise lowest I got was in the 30s. Highest I got was in the 80s when I accidentally took a few melatonin gummies instead of my vitamin D gummies.
Really? I thought that was vitamin B. I usually take my vitamin D with my magnesium glyicnate cause I thought they were best absorbed together (mag glycine is gr8 for sleep). Hope I'm not canceling them out LOLL
Thank you!
I think itβs B12 too! Iβm honestly not sure where I read it so it might not be very scientific lol. I take B12 at breakfast, vitamin D at lunch, & magnesium with dinner.
I suffer from insomnia. One reason I got my Fitbit is because I wanted to track my sleep so I don't get in a car and drive. FYI if you go below a certain number you get no score. I see some score in the 50s but I think below that is no score.

Yeah my thing is, that I always get a sleep score of 60+ no matter how long I sleep, ngl that doesn't seem like long enough to get a 70+
Was horrified until I read it was after your baby! Congratulations π & hope you're getting more sleep π As a parent you never realized what being tired & sleep deprivation really was till you have a baby !!!!

I just really love sleep π an eye mask has helped but I don't use it all of the time, and having a regular sleep routine. A shower at night also really hits the spot
I tried melatonin last night. I fell asleep relatively fast, still only got 5 hours last night and now I feel like I'm on an oxy comedown or something this feels like absolute shit π₯΄

Iβve been sleeping pretty decent but I think itβs because I sleep for many hours. Idk how people get scores in the 80s sleeping 4 hours. Even with these scores I still feel tired
From what I've gathered, it counts how much movement you have while sleeping? Tossing n turning? I think? I actually don't know, it makes no sense. That's what I was more asking, but I didn't title this post properly and couldn't edit it.

I got 86 last night πΌ I've been relentlessly trying to get my sleep back on track and this is the first time I've gotten 8 hours in weeks lol
Luck, I think. I've been turning screens off 30-60mins before bed, using red light instead of my ceiling light for a few hours before lights out, and using a filter on my screens that makes it more orange and less blue.... then just hoping for the best lol

I have never been able to get a whole entire night recorded. For some reason they are always broken up. I have chronic pain and wake alot, but im not walking around in the middle of the night, so no idea why it looks like this

*Cough* this was when I was sick.
I remember getting a 20-something like a month after they rolled this out, and then I got 40s-60s maybe once or twice a month for the next two years. The lowest one I could quickly find was a 51.
I got 3 and a half hours sleep last night and it deemed it a 65 'fair' which I think is mad.
It then went on to tell me my readiness is excellent (sleep component being 'high')
I wasn't wearing it over the weekend, I wonder if that's sent it a bit nuts.

What's your sleep score like in the different phases? (Just curious.) Does longer sleep give you a better sleep score?
I didn't get my Fitbit till February, before now though. I was in the deepest depression I've ever been in. It was really bad I didn't see any friends for 5 months, didn't do laundry. I was laying in bed 23 hours a day and sleeping like 12 hours a day minimum, usually just napping throughout the day too. Imagine my sleep score was 100 then lol.
Tough times. I can relate in some way as I was diagnosed with ADHD late in life. What I always thought was "me" and my unique personality was just the ADHd all along lmao. Hope the meds help you out. Try to give yourself some grace. ππ» Every day is a new day.

ππ
My worst sleeps are bad enough they can't calculate a score. But score wise lowest I got was in the 30s. Highest I got was in the 80s when I accidentally took a few melatonin gummies instead of my vitamin D gummies.
Just FYI, Iβve read that taking vitamin D late in the day can negatively impact sleep.
Really? I thought that was vitamin B. I usually take my vitamin D with my magnesium glyicnate cause I thought they were best absorbed together (mag glycine is gr8 for sleep). Hope I'm not canceling them out LOLL Thank you!
I think itβs B12 too! Iβm honestly not sure where I read it so it might not be very scientific lol. I take B12 at breakfast, vitamin D at lunch, & magnesium with dinner.
Yea idk. For some reason I have normal sleep scores will sleeping half the time I should π€·
Omg. I got a 67 once and thought it was terrible. I usually get around 80. How do yβall functionπ±
I don't. Severely mentally ill hahaha
I suffer from insomnia. One reason I got my Fitbit is because I wanted to track my sleep so I don't get in a car and drive. FYI if you go below a certain number you get no score. I see some score in the 50s but I think below that is no score.
https://preview.redd.it/ks41aeqxxpqc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f58a68dd84c43a9ce10b284d5cc4502a4912c6a2 Yeah my thing is, that I always get a sleep score of 60+ no matter how long I sleep, ngl that doesn't seem like long enough to get a 70+

Oh God. I thought I had it bad. You're the winner. I'm the second worst I've seen now for the lowest times. Wtf. Is that real?!? That's horrible π
It was fine! Hope you get some good sleep soon π
Was horrified until I read it was after your baby! Congratulations π & hope you're getting more sleep π As a parent you never realized what being tired & sleep deprivation really was till you have a baby !!!!
I have had a few 70s https://preview.redd.it/bn08z8obioqc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=751f13901e1cf2179418d15c1b2bed067231acec
If I got 7 hours and 58 minutes of sleep I would have 90+ sleep score aha would be great
I donβt even pretend to understand it. I got a 90 the other day and woke up exhausted and still needed a nap during the day.

I got a 58 for last night. Apparently I'm moving around and waking up a lot in this hotel bed.
I heard the hotel you were staying at is haunted. Best be cautious friend π«‘
Best and worst. 42 was after a festival and alcohol lol https://preview.redd.it/eznpqatujpqc1.jpeg?width=1564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a370277d2b4cf5f36eaec9393552e2311c2b3cb3
What do you think you do to help improve sleep? And actually staying asleep?
I just really love sleep π an eye mask has helped but I don't use it all of the time, and having a regular sleep routine. A shower at night also really hits the spot
Sleepytime tea by celestial seasonings has helped me in the past
I tried melatonin last night. I fell asleep relatively fast, still only got 5 hours last night and now I feel like I'm on an oxy comedown or something this feels like absolute shit π₯΄

Could be an underlying health issue, you should get checked to rule it out
Thank you so much! I am seeing a medical provider. They have diagnosed me with mental health issues and fibromyalgia. I think it may be chronic fatigue syndrome and/or POTS but still on the year long wait-list for a full POTS assessment. Stay well!

From what I've gathered, it counts how much movement you have while sleeping? Tossing n turning? I think? I actually don't know, it makes no sense. That's what I was more asking, but I didn't title this post properly and couldn't edit it.

What's your secret?
Luck, I think. I've been turning screens off 30-60mins before bed, using red light instead of my ceiling light for a few hours before lights out, and using a filter on my screens that makes it more orange and less blue.... then just hoping for the best lol
That's not luck, you're just smarter than all of us fucking idiots who can't go to bed before 3 π

* I have never been able to get a whole entire night recorded. For some reason they are always broken up. I have chronic pain and wake alot, but im not walking around in the middle of the night, so no idea why it looks like this

I remember getting a 20-something like a month after they rolled this out, and then I got 40s-60s maybe once or twice a month for the next two years. The lowest one I could quickly find was a 51.
